  1. Originally, EC Blends sent me a 5 ml bottle of FLaN at 0 mg nic as a sampler. Who knew I'd get so hooked on this stuff? I started at 12 mg nic and gradually dropped it down to 3 although I'm thinking to try 2 or even 0 one of these days to see how that flies.
  2. 3 mg nic, 40 PG/60 VG, extra sweetener in the 125 ml bottle. Wish they'd increase the size of the biggest bottle on this one. I let it sit for at least a week if not two before breaking it open.
  3. Do they make oven mitts with bling?
  4. I can't imagine having to go up to that level of power, the vapor and flavor I get on my 7 - 9 watts is more than satisfying for me. Even though I have mods that can go high in power doesn't mean I have to.
  5. Compenstine has Fadora Vapor and I've found his juices to be consistent and high quality. The customization to your tastes and the care he puts into his juices is of the highest quality. I order from him quite often. My constant though has been one flavor by EC Blends. I've been buying it by the 120 ml bottle for well over two years (maybe closer to three now?), with never a change in quality, consistency or flavor. They only make the juice once you put your order in so it's fresh every time. That said, I always order two to three weeks before I need it so it can sit for a while before I need it.
  6. Sorry to hear that you got such a bad tank that was supposed to make up for the bad ohm meter.
  7. Sounds like it's toast. With it not working right, I wouldn't take the chance that you could have a catastrophic failure and have it blow up. Better to get a new battery/mod and chalk this one up as a learning experience of what not to buy on Ebay.
  8. I have to agree, Jason. When you first start vaping, there are so many different things to try to remember. TC is just one more setting that will easily overwhelm a new vaper. Learn to walk before you get into the jet...
  9. Done, done, done, doooone.
  10. Whatever flavor you vape, it will be so much better smelling than the stale cigarette odor.
  11. What are you looking for in a tank? Are you planning to build your own coils? Do you want a tank that comes with prebuilt coils? What about a tank that has both? Mouth to lung? Direct to lung? How much juice capacity are you looking for? Are you hard on tanks so it needs to be something that won't break easily? Do you want Pyrex instead so you can use any kind of juice in it and not have to worry about tank crackers? So many questions....
  12. When I started vaping my first set up was an eGo-C pass through. Then, I got a couple of back ups, by then they were up to eGo-T pass throughs. They work just fine as a pass through and I used them as such with no problem. I still have one that I keep for nostalgia's sake although it's not used anymore.
  13. LOL, Comp. Thanks for the good advice.
  14. After all this time, I still have never tried a cig-alike, but I do admit to being curious about them. Sometime when I have money to throw away, I just may have to try one to see what the difference is.
  15. Because of the weak wires, doesn't that also pose a risk of something shorting out and causing a fire?
  16. From what I can see on their website, they do not have a pass through option, just recharge. I'm not familiar with Green Smoke's products so can't say for certain but it looks like that's about it. Why not get into something like a pen-style battery with atomizer instead? In the long run, it will not only save you money, but you'll get more satisfaction from a better set up.
  17. Sounds like what you're calling a "power cig" is what we commonly refer to as a "pass through." You can vape while it's plugged into either a USB port or with an AC adapter into a wall socket?
  18. The very first thing on your shopping list should be an ohm meter to check your builds. Then, learn about Ohm's Law so you will be safe. Only after that, you should go get the wire, the coil jig, etc. Safety first.
  19. There is always the Aerotank V2. It's much like the KPT but works better, has the adjustable airflow already on the bottom of the tank and can use the regular KPT coils (both single and dual coil). When the first Aspire Triton came out I really loved the tank -- when it worked. Unfortunately, it would stop working for me after the second or third refill. This has to top fill, bottom airflow control (V1 also has a top airflow control), worked extremely well for mouth to lung hits. V2 recently came out and it seems to have fixed the issues V1 had. V2 no longer has the top airflow control (not an issue for me). Yes, the coils are more expensive but one coil got me through nearly 11 tankfuls before really diminishing in performance and needed a change. Unlike many of the new tanks out there these days, the Triton comes in sub-ohm coils as well as 1.8 ohm, which is my preferred. You can also buy an RTA separately if you change your mind about building your own coils. A couple of suggestions.
  20. LOL! Okay, here's the summary. Cajun is using the .2 ohm nickel coil but is in wattage mode (I think from the picture that was posted). The mod should be in TC mode to work best with the nickel coil, correct?
  21. Looks like Cajun is using the nickel coil... which means TC. That's something I haven't ventured into so I'll leave it in your capable hands.
  22. The Harvest tank comes with two coils. One of them is kanthal and the other is nickel. Which one is in your tank?
  23. Are you using the kanthal coil or the nickel one? The nickel is for TC while the kanthal works in wattage mode.
  24. What kind of tank are you using? In the tank, what resistance is your coil? A higher resistance coil would require more power to heat the juice.
  25. There's no such thing as a sloppy combo or overkill -- if it works for you, that's all that matters. I have several Eleaf iStick 50W and use them with all sorts of combinations. One of my favorites is using an old Kanger Pro Tank II with a 1.8 ohm single coil. That might be termed overkill to some but it makes me happy. On others I have a Russian 91%, Aspire Triton 2, Kanger Subtank mini... The Triton 2/iStick 50 combo is at 1.8 ohm coil and 7.2W, in the beginning when I'm breaking in the coil, I go even lower on power and work slowly upward. Listen to Bebop, he's wise in the ways of the vape. Welcome to Vapor Talk.
