Today, I gather all the noobs to vaping into direct dripping on Vapor Talk. Tomorrow, the WORLD!!! Mwahahaha! Hey, just call me and I'll get you started: 1-800-mwa-haha

Darn you, Rixter. Now you've gone and made me want one too! And they're out of 2.0 ohm ones. *sighs* I would've been okay with any color but they're out all the way across the board. I've fallen in love with the 2.0 ohm atties. Tried higher and lower and keep coming back to the 2.0. Guess I'll just have to wait until he restocks these. *sighs again* ETA: Do these need the 510 to 510 adapter/extender? I know I have one around here somewhere...

I love Vapor Kings and have ordered quite a few things from there. If I'm not mistaken it's a "new product" for them on their site. I double and triple checked what you linked to to the one I have and its packaging. Yes, I still have the plastic box it came in. The extra wicks are in there so I know what they go to and they're the very same product. Still not impressed. It's...okay but nothing that other, cheaper clearomizers won't do. Sometimes the others work better. The extra wicks just soak up more juice but I'm not seeing an improvement on vapor, there's more muting of flavor too. At least that's my take on this one, Jeff.

I got one of these a while back. Wasn't impressed.

Strawberry Fields with extra flavor dripped into a 510 atty is...nirvana. Really. The taste is just incredible! Thanks for the rec, B. If you need any help with dripping, just give me a shout. Oh, and when you first get the atty, it'll come drenched in a liquid. Wipe it dry, blow into the top to get the rest out (make sure to hold a tissue loosely at the battery connection end to catch the liquid). I put a bit of tissue into it to sop up the rest and let it sit for about ten minutes. Then, the first time you drip, go with about 4 - 6 drops. Let it sit the first time around for a few seconds to let the wick soak up the juice, then vape. The first few hits may not taste like anything until it's properly primed. Then, you can just use two to three drops per. Delicious!

Feels Like a Nut right now. Lol! But I'm seeing a switch to Strawberry Fields coming along shortly.

If you've been smoking cigars I'd definitely go with some 24 mg juices. You'll also want some in 18 mg, 12 mg and maybe even some 6 mg. A very loose comparison would be: 24 mg = full flavor cigarettes 18 mg = medium 12 mg = lights 6 mg = ultra lights If it were me I'd go with either a 50 PG/50 VG ratio or a 60 PG/40 VG until you know more of what you want. The more PG = more throat hit, better flavor delivery, thinner juice. The more VG = a little sweeter (not much and you probably won't even notice this at first), more vapor, thicker juice (with thicker juice you run a higher chance of gumming up your wicks faster making any clearomizer not work as well for as long as a juice higher in PG). Go with a variable voltage battery like an eGo Twist or a Vision Spinner. This way you can increase the voltage depending on your juice. Some take a higher voltage to taste their best while others take lower. My fruit flavors like lower while my bakery flavors taste better/better throat hit at higher. Start low and turn up a little at a time until it starts tasting burnt then back it down 'til it tastes good to you. My preference is the Vision Spinner. You can find one at the Vapor Talk Market Place. Brian, the owner of The Veteran Vaper, has a Vision Spinner available and come very highly recommended here on the forum by everyone who has done business with him, myself included. He answers all questions and is a wealth of patience and information. http://www.theveteranvaper.com/vision-spinner-1300mah-variable-voltage-battery/ Pick up a charger, an AC adapter, several clearomizers so you can fill with different flavors and/or nicotine amounts and you should be set. I used to smoke a pack of Marlboro Lights a day but started with 24 mg to get off the things. I then went down to 12 mg, then 6 mg. These days I mostly use around 12 but keep some 24 handy in case I need a hit but don't have time to vape long. When I'm chain vaping I go from 0 - 12 and anything in between. Good luck!

I totally agree with IMEDICx90's recommendations. They're rock solid and you won't need to upgrade anytime soon.

Alibaba has a bad reputation around the internet from all I've heard. Best to stay far away if you don't want to be taken for a ride only to find them emptying your wallet. I agree with Aquatroy. Why go to an untried source when we have the Vapor Talk Market Place with trusted vendors available?

Those prices sound wonderful and thank you for thinking of me but I'm going to have to decline on the "getting verified" at ECF. When I tried to just join that forum they were insisting on getting a credit card from me to become verified there. It left a bad taste in my mouth for the entire forum. Guess I'll just have to pay full price and look for the Pro Tank 2 elsewhere. Thanks again, though.

This is just me, but when I get a juice that's high in citrus and/or cinnamon I take it out of the plastic bottle it came in and put it into one of my glass ones. If the juice will do to the plastic clearos, I hate to think of what it's doing inside of the plastic bottle and then I wind vaping it.
-
That's why I'm trying to wait patiently for the Pro Tank 2 to come out. You can replace everything one piece at a time AND! you can put your own favorite drip tip on it too.
-
Hee. You waited too long and your dark storm clouds have rolled in. You really could've kept them up north and just sent us the rain...
-
Only to you, Jeff, but as dry as it's been here, with a little wind to kick up the dust it very well could be. And yes, I'm going the literal route.
-
Come on down south and get some sunshine then.

It looks like there are two good recs here, Aquatroy. Rixter's Youde's AGA-T2 is a tank RBA while my Vision Eternity is a dripping RDA. I guess it just depends on what you want and how you want to use it. I really like direct dripping so the Eternity is perfect for me. If you don't want to drip, then the tank system would be a better alternative. Either way I think it's a win-win situation.

If you want to take a little drive you can get one today. The B-street Vapor Source is open on Sundays.

Rixter, go for it! I'm interested too.

So...when I got the Vision Victory clearomizers I also got talked into my very first rebuildable atomizer. I've been looking at several for some time now but was intimidated by what I saw. Yes, I've rebuilt an engine back to manufacturer's specs but this looked harder to do somehow. Hush. Well, I just rebuilt my new toy a few minutes ago and it was so simple. I'm now wondering why I waited so long. I'm putting PBusardo's review up for those who want to see his thoughts because he explains things far better than I can. My own opinion is that this thing is a great beginner's RBA. Even with my sad excuse for eyeballs I didn't need to break out the magnifying glass or even my reading glasses to thread the wires through. The vapor I get is just as good as PBusardo's video at 50 PG/50 VG, eGo Twist 4.0 volts. The only reason why I had to rewick the Eternity is because the juice I'm using gunked up the last one, but it's the juice, not the RBA. Before buying a roll of cotton wick and wire I wanted to be sure I could do this. I'll probably go buy some tomorrow at my local brick & mortar. Haven't tried the tank option yet but I probably will before too long. Maybe. Right now it's just too much fun using the atomizer side of things. Mine cost $25, and it's a great investment. It'll probably save me some money in the long run if it continues to perform the way it has.
-
Yeah. Kinda scary to think of two minds like our running around, though.
-
Which bridgeless atomizers did Rixter talk you into? We all have to be careful, Rixter's very good at pushing shiny, new, wonderful things at us. I can't resist him, either. As for the $25 atomizer... I just got one of these as my very first RBA. *evil grin*

Thanks for the heads up, Bebop. I think I'm set for now with all the extra coils I've bought. The coil I have in one of the units is about done so I'm going to find out if I can just take out the coil from the bottom and replace, or if I'll lose all the juice inside with the change out. :P

Lol. Those two caught my eye as well.

Mini e-pipe from Esco Tech? Where to order?
Tam replied to Hellecat's topic in Share the Latest Vaping Products
I just googled mini e-pipe and got lots of hits. If you go with a google image search and click on the pictures you like... Seems like Aquavapor.com has some that looks like wood. -
Never heard of him but it looks interesting. Might have to try the sampler from him. Thanks for the heads up.
