  1. I agree with them both. I've used a tank atty and tanks on a regular 650mah ego battery with no problem except that I didn't like the taste. I would add though that if you get a passthrough ego battery that you make sure it comes with the removable end cap. Some of them out there come without one and you run into the problem of getting dirt or water in the usb port. But as far as the usb, they work great!!! and you can vape and charge at the same time so you almost always have a full charge.
  2. Saw these in Brookstone's a few months ago. They looked really cool except for the price. Maybe they'll come down in price in a few more months?
  3. I would suggest that if you really want a disposable, get one or two of the kr808's from Chris as back-ups. They won't be the same as your eGo and the battery life will kill you, but for the price, if you lose one or just want something to take for a short trip out they should do ok...not great, but will do.
  4. I didn't know that they had installed cameras in my room? Guess we'll have to find someplace else to play poker.
  5. It is nice not to have your clothes smelling like stale smoke. Or a car that smells like an old ashtray. And although my wife runs me out of the house when I vape certain juices that she just can't take the smell of, it's nice to not have to go outside in the rain or cold weather to get my nic-fix. No more hot ash in the eyes when driving, or burn marks in my pants and shirts..."these are a few of my favorite things"...(think Julie Andrews)...
  6. Hell...if quitting was really that easy we could of all just yelled back and forth at each other and quit a long time ago. "Hey dumb ***...stop smoking" "yea?...well you're a jerk for smoking 2 packs a day..when you going to quit?" WOW how easy would that have been?
  7. I'm sorry but I just don't see how someone reading a text msg will help you quit. I'd be reading while I was lighting up. And how do you send a "placebo text" ? Congrats you idiot...you've been fooled into thinking you're doing well? This sounds a little like the cigarette companies trying to make people think that e-cigs are a waste of time when all you have to do to quit is text on your I-Phone. BS
  8. Good information. I've also wondered why so many batteries of the same voltage and obm's were different sizes. Can't wait to see the follow-up. Thanks BD.
  9. Would have to agree. Ever since DayVape got me hooked on carto's I've used nothing else except the Boge 2.0's. I usually get mine from Vapor Kings...they are marked with the 2.0 on them so I always know what I've got. Good luck and happy vaping.
  10. Haven't tried this type yet, but I have tried the "clearomizers" and they work pretty well. Biggest draw back I've found is that the plastic tube works loose from the metal connector end and then leaks. But again...they aren't meant to be a permanent thing. These too will need to be tossed eventually.
  11. I've asked this question before, but just how many mods does one person need? Especially since they all basically do the same thing at the same voltages. Granted, the provari and a few of the V.V mods are more interesting for switching voltage, but most of the rest are either 3.7/6 or 5v. I mean it's not like you're going to carry every mod you own around with you to show off to non-vapers. You'll grab the one that's the easiest to carry or hide in your pocket and a bottle or two of juice and head out the door. Maybe it's the Scrooge in me, but I've just never been able to figure out why someone needs two or three of the same box mod or big battery mod when an Ego or similar pv will do. Especially when you look at the price of some of them. Some people have thousands of dollars tied up in fancy mods. Now don't get me wrong...there are a lot of beautiful mods out there, and many interesting styles and shapes. But when you get right down to it, they all do the same thing....vape.
  12. I'm with Chris on the Boge cartomizers. I have a few of the ego-t tanks and my biggest complaint with them is the taste of the liquid. But one thing I think you may be forgetting is that these tanks..cartos..attys etc aren't meant to last forever. they're throw-aways. They were never designed to last forever, that's the catch. You use them for a week or so....refill a few times and then toss them and get a new one. That's what the suppliers are counting on. If they were a long term item then the suppliers wouldn't sell many. Even your Ego battery will quit on you eventually. It's just the price we pay for taking up the hobby of vaping. But when you compare it to the cost of smoking...we come out way ahead. Both money wise and health too! Good luck and happy vaping.
  13. That's fantastic !! IT'S ALIVE IT'S ALIVE!!!
  14. Is that what Ashley said???
  15. Well..if you're using the fatter Ego cartomizers, then you have to use a needle to fill it. Sounds like that's what you have in hand (with the top cap and small plastic piece with 2 holes) you have to puncture the seal inside that little hole in the middle to get to the filler material. The regular style cartomizers (with the little white rubber plug in the top) can be filled either from the bottom using the rubber cart-condom method or by taking out the top and dripping down inside. There are videos showing both types of cartomizers being filled, you just have to look around for them. Good luck and happy vaping.
  16. Well...I started to go into some answers for you but our "Fearless Leader" got here first. No prob..he has better insight anyway. So...all I'll do now is welcome you to the forum and if you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask. These people are great and always willing to help. Enjoy your new Ego and keep us informed of your journey. Good luck and happy vaping. p.s. The VT store has great juices and I can suggest the exotic (traditional).
  17. I would have to agree on all points. When I smoked I only noticed the great smell of a lit cigarette, not the ashtray smell everyone else was getting. Food has always tasted good to me but it does seem to be getting better as time goes on. When I go on my trips for work I can always tell what floor of the hotel is the smoking level.....good thing I don't have to go there anymore. And I've never been a big flower fan, but I can notice the ones I like a lot more now...Wysteria (sp?) honeysuckle...all a lot better now. And BD...have to agree with you on the litter box...DAMN!
  18. Well congrats on the 4yrs. And a very nice job on the romantics ( this too shall pass in time). You did a great job on making all the right moves. Just remember what happened the last time you make those moves!!!
  19. Well according to my score....I should be DEAD
  20. Can someone help me with this one? Wasn't there another naturally high member on here before? They were suppose to be working a home for women or something and was trying to get free pv's and stuff to give the women. Does anyone else remember them or am I mistaken??
  21. Well I'd like to welcome you to VT. It looks like you're off to a rough start. So you either joined their affiliate program or you started a distributorship with them, that's nice for you.But trying to sell your mall-style e-cig on a forum that is trying to steer people away from the low quality, over-priced and false advertising type of e-cig is not a good idea. I'm sure you are genuine in your devotion to your product, but with the exception of the really noobie newcomer to this site you're selling to a brick wall. I started out on one of those types of e-cigs and found out very quickly just how inferior they really are.And the lies of how long the carts and carto;s last left a bad taste in my mouth...literally! But... no hard feelings on you trying to make a go of it, I just wouldn't try too hard around here. Good luck and happy vaping.
  22. Also Chris...unless you use the XL ones, you're really kinda wasting your time. I've tried both..reg/xl's and the short ones just go through juice so fast that it's almost like dripping into a carto. You have to keep filling them alot, especially if you vape heavy like I do and I know you do also. Sorry wish I had better news for you
  23. To be honest with ya Chris I don't think so. And don't even think about trying to use that cheap little syringe tip they give you with them. It will bend, break, and drive you crazy. Get a good needle or one of those needle bottles, take off the top cap...take out the little "o" ring and just feel around the edge of the top of the coil till you find a small indent and stick the needle in till you see it go into the carto tube. Only way I've found that works with any luck. And be sure to hold onto the plastic tube when you go to pull out the needle or if you use a drip tip or you will pull the plastic tube right off the connector end. Then it will leak like hell and the tube will spin every time you go to tighten it down. Maybe some one else has found another way but that's all I can tell you about my experiences with them. Good luck.
  24. I guess my best find so far is a travel case that came with a razor. Mark has seen it...it's a small soft sided zipper case that holds several unit...lots of tips, atty's, and carto's. It can also hold several small 3ml bottles of juice. Very handy and fits well in your hand .
