  1. First, I like the internal spiral fin design which not only spirals your vapor into your mouth for smoother airflow but also blocks spit-back from devices that are prone to do that. Second, it's minimalistic in design...looks like a smooth cylinder on top of your tank.

They're strictly MTL, though. There's a little bit too much restriction for the DLers IMO.

  2. I just bought a HΩ Slice LE mod from Vapor Cube , and it does temp control with Kanthal (any resistance wire, really). It takes a 26650 battery, but it seems to drain it really fast...down to 81% from 100% in a little over an hour. Much faster drain than my HΩ Wrecker (which lasts well over for four days on two 18650 in-series batteries), but my HΩ Wrecker doesn't do temp control on Kanthal (the HΩ Wrecker G2 does). The Slice seems to be a really good mod overall, though, and as far as I know, it's made in the U.S.A.

  3. The Innokin Endura T22 Starter Kit (IMO) is miles ahead of other starter kits in terms of performance. It's getting raved about by  reviewers for being the best device out there to convert smokers to vaping. The Endura mod provides a constant 14 watts to its tank (or any other 510-threaded tank), and the only settings on it are off and on. I've tried them and they are outstanding.

  4. I almost bought a new mod just now before patience & logic kicked in and I decided to check in here first. I don't really need (or want) a new mod, but the new Joyetech AIO sports a really cool drip tip (which I do want).

The internal spiral fin design is supposed to create a more flavorful vortex of vapor, but more importantly, I think it probably makes for an effective spit-back shield for atties that suffer that particular problem. I've searched the internet for days but have yet to come up with a single site that sells just the drip tip.

If anyone knows where I can find an AIO drip tip, please share.

    Thanks.

  5. The Aspire CF Mod, while having some cool features (like under-voltage and short-circuit protection, to name a couple), is not a constant output battery. The voltage drops from 4.2 to <3.5 before the device turns itself off so you'll need to figure your Atlantis' coil resistance based on that voltage range and your personal tastes. The performance of your Atlantis is going to drop some during the course of your battery's discharge. Basically, treat the CF Mod like you would a mechanical mod, because it behaves just like one.

Oh yeah...get a box and learn to love it. It'll change the way you vape.:)

  6. Yeah, I just put a couple of cups of hot tap water in the crock and then turn it on high. The water gets hot but less than boiling. Just drop the atties in the water and let 'em sit for a while. When you take them out, the hot water just flows out the bottom as if they're really clean...er...which they are.

  7. I finally got my Fishbone + RDA from China yesterday. I guess a month in transit for a sub-$20 RDA that performs as well as this one does ain't too bad. Right now I'm vaping Wastegate by Boosted (Raspberry Cheesecake and Vanilla Ice Cream) and it absolutely tastes more intense now than it ever has. The Fishbone + has a triple-helix airflow design that provides exceptionally smooth pulls for a direct-lunger, too.

It's nice to be able to see inside my dripper.

    I built it with a single .16Ω 2.5mm Ni200 horizontal coil between it's Velocity-styled posts.

Today, I received 4 packs of Horizontal SubTank coils from Sweet-Vapes (I think they taste better, and they're so easy to re-wick to make them last longer), as well as two ST RBA's (one original, one plus), and something interesting...  They had Pyrex ST Bell Caps (with frosted drip-tip) for $5 on sale, and ST air-flow bases for $7, so now I have an all-Pyrex SubTank for 1/3 the price of a "real" SubTank Mini :D I think it looks kinda sweet on my Cloupor Mini!

I'll probably only use this at the house, for fear of dropping/breaking it, but it looks really good...  Next time I order from S-V, I may pick up a couple more caps and bases... the Bell Cap only has option for SS connection, but I think it would still look good with a black base?

I bought the same bell cap for my Subtank mini and it is a pretty cool cap. It's very easy to refill because once you thread the metal insert onto the Subtank's base, you can just pop the glass tank off to refill it. Definitely not pocket friendly, though.

  9. My Eleaf iStick 60W TC came in yesterday and I've really enjoyed using it so far. I set it up with an IGO-L RDA with a 3mm 28g .16Ω vertical Ni200 coil and just enough cotton wicking to touch the bottom of the juice well.

It's the perfect setup for testing new DIY mixes because with such a small amount of wicking, you can drip about 5 drops through the top and get 5 or 6 good pulls, and TC keeps you from getting a dry hit at the end...very little overlapping of flavors that way.
