  1. I hope this solution works for you. It sounds like you have a good customer service oriented shop. I'd take this seriously since there isn't much in eliquid to cause stains. (Disclaimer) I'm not a doctor, nor have I played one on tv, but I did PLAY doctor with the other neighbourhood kids 55 years ago, so you can judge my qualifications.
  2. Well I'll just have to get my sorry butt over to youtube and give em a look and a hit. I think reviews are a valuable service and I thank you for taking the time and effort.
  3. Nicotine being a colourless volitile oil, probably doesn't stain anything, vaped or burnt. I think it is the tars in burnt tobacco that cause stains. Because vapour has no tar properties, there is probably something else going on here. I'd go for the allergy or burn theory. I too think you should get rid or the whole setup including battery, tank and liquid and try some or the recommended batteries and liquids here. Liquid especially from a different manufacturer so as to eliminate this manufacturer's hidden ingredients. ASAP! I've used the Istick 20 (got 3 of em) for a long time now, and I like em but I've got to keep adjusting the v/w to keep consistent flavour. The Istick 50 is far superior for consistency and longevity.
  4. My first, with my startup eGo Twist was Cuban Cigar. It doesn't taste anything like a Cuban cigar, but I still use it and love it.
  5. I too go outside with the smokers. I go to the smokers lounge at airports, or discretely to the toilet stall and hold my vape/breath until it's gone or nearly gone. Upping the pg/vg ratio gets me better throat hit and less vapour for those occasions.
  6. It would be a Crown Coupe with front and rear air. On full bore, even cloud chasers would be hard pressed
  7. I was booked on Air Canada to fly from Montreal to Hartford last year and walked out to the plane with about 5 other people. I guess it's not a very popular route. The plane! The plane! Two engines with propellers and and entry ladder that only required 2 steps. An amazon of a woman escorted us to our seats, I think there were 6 single seats on each side, and she picked the two to sit by the one exit, (for normal egress and emergency combined). Then after she saw that we were all seated, she said keep your seatbelts on at all times during the flight which will be about 45 minutes. Then she asked if everyone was all set to go because she wouldn't be there for us because she now had to fly the plane. Multitasking at its finest. So............. as long as she was busy flying the plane, and the copilot hadn't even made an appearance, if there even was one, it seemed that no one would notice, so I vaped the whole way. It was completely under the radar
  8. A couple of nieces came to visit a couple of weeks ago trailing boyfriends. Both boyfriends had that ipv 3+ and the whole day they worked really well. The ipv was doing a great job with the kangor sub ohm mini that non of my current batteries seem to power properly. They've had the ipv for a few weeks only, so not much of a long term review, but offhand I was impressed.
  9. I use a 1964 Imperial by Chrysler. It has six cigarette lighters (power ports), a trunk big enough to hold the inventory of a B & M shop, a community glove box to hold the equipment of the occupants, and individual door compartments for personal supplies, and is portable.
  10. Welcome! My tips to quit smoking come from almost 50 years of being a Marlboro Red / Dunhill Red fan and my ideas are that vaping doesn't come close to replacing all the addictive components in cigarettes, but it replaces enough. My experience tells me that nicotine itself isn't very addictive at all. It's more like caffeine. I know this goes against what all the 'experts' and medical advisors say. Doctors even diagnose smokers as having a nicotine addiction. But... and this is a big one, tobacco smoke contains elements that mimic bronchodilaters to open bronchial tubes, steroids which reduce imflamation, and narcotics which give you a good feeling about smoking even though you know intellectually that it's killing you. So, with that awareness, you can be prepared to fight off the cravings that come even though you are vaping because the hand to mouth action, and vapour production and nicotine really do mimic smoking enough to get through the cravings which really do disappear over time, and not really that long a time. But you have to pay attention to notice that, "OMG! I didn't think about cigs for a whole day!" When the cravings come, up the nicotine, and a few hits will take care of it.
  11. ....And you can send me dead flowers every morning Send me dead flowers by the US mail Say it with dead flowers in my wedding And (most importantly, paraphrased, changed for purpose, plagiarised, ) don't forget to put roses on my grave!
  12. Thank you for the condolences , You brought up something that I thought about doing years ago. I am an antigov't type but I guess more on the left as in legalize all drugs and sex is a person's business, not the gov'ts and rock and roll for ever, and looked into what your friend did. I think it was about declaring yourself a Sovereign citizen of your state and vacating your US citizenship. That would all be well and good, but you could be questioned every time you crossed state lines as all states are really foreign to each other. I gave the whole thing up as a bad job after seeing that I'd already paid more than 40 quarters into Social Security, starting at age 12 so I decided not to lose that, which would probably happen. Besides that in the US, a single citizen taking a stand like that. that doesn't inspire the public outcry to follow that lead, makes the guy doing it about as significant as a f-a-r-t in a Canadian blizzard.
  13. Too many mods???????? Sacrilege!!!!!!!!!
  14. I thought that would intrigue alert readers. Yes, I've died. That is if you are inclined to believe everything the Social Security Admin tells you. It began this way. The second Wednesday of May, was the day my Social Security retirement benefit was supposed to be deposited in my Bank of America account. Nothing happened, and initially I thought nothing about it as there are 12 hours difference between time here and Eastern Standard Time, so I just figured it was off by some hours. Then as time went by and still no deposit, I checked my B of A accounts and OMG everything was empty. Checking, savings, CDs credit cards, all gone! Sheesh! So I called (of course) and was told that the SSA had informed them that I had indeed died. I of course informed them that the weren't talking to Casper, and they asked a bunch of personal questions that I answered correctly and thus my accounts were magically restored. Resurrection! And it took Jesus 3 days, yet I did it only a few hours and 7 ringgit in phone calls. He must have had to meet with a committee. (This experience has given me a lifetime of one liners) Then the bubble burst. I died again and now after many weeks and many many phone calls to SSA, B of A, the United States embassys in Kuala Lumpur, and Manila where SSA Southeast Asia is located, and everyone else who would listen, my bank accounts are re restored, credit cards working, but so far no retirement payment. Still waiting on the SSA who like most government agencies move at the speed of snail. Now to the original subject. I thought you would like to know that my vaping habits, supplies and equipment didn't change one bit during my death. It must be comforting to know that vaping is infinite, everlasting. To quote Mark Twain, "I was dead a long time before I was born, and it didn't inconvenience me at all." I'll leave you with a few thoughts. This gives new meaning to the little kid curse of "Drop dead twice!" I can now be a proper gwailo. Gwailo is a Chinese word meaning "ghost man" which I am frequently called here in Malaysia. A warning to all. Your social security number is tied to almost everything you do in life in reference to employment, banking, education, licensing, retirement and who knows what. I'm about to find out if it affects my passport as I try to go on holiday in Thailand next month. If your social security number is declared dead, you might not even know unless someone, as in my case, an as yet unknown third party notifies your bank, or employer or some other interested party. Cheers! the late Jon
  15. Welcome! Where can I buy that counterfeit rice? I heard it's cheaper than real rice. Just havin' you on.... Enjoy the experience!
  16. We're supposed to hide the weirdness? Now ya tell me.
  17. Welcome, come on in!
  18. Welcome! For me, a 49 year Marlboro fan, this place has steered me right every time with many supportive knowledgeable folks who really want to help and inform. Good luck on your journey.
  19. Welcome! We are almost in the same boat. I started vaping 2 years ago after 49 years of Marlboro reds and pipes and cigars. It's been surprisingly, ridiculously, interestingly, easy. That's after of course trying everything the medical establishment and 'experts' threw at me at great expense that, again of course, didn't work. This is a great victory for those who have to but don't necessarily want to quit tobacco. Best of luck. I've never felt better and don't feel the need to make a heavy breathing phone call every time I climb the stairs.
  20. Welcome! Join the party.
  21. I noticed all my tanks leak in the air. I've taken to stealing as many Q-Tip 4 pack packets I can get my hands on from the hotels. Never mind that the Q-Tips are useful for cleaning, the zip lock bags they come in are just the right size for containing tanks. Awesome! I call them my tank condoms.
  22. Ok, I decided to put my money where my mouth is. I've been saying that nicotine isn't necessarily the bad guy in tobacco products as the government and 'experts' would have you believe. I've been vaping 18 mg nicotine since I started seriously over 2 years ago and that's primarily because that's the strongest readily and easily available online here in Malaysia. I've had the occasional 12 mg product just to try the flavour but it's never been a regular in my arsenal. I've only tried higher doses when I went to the only B & M I've ever seen in Asia. That was in Viet Nam and while trying their sample flavours I took some hits on 24 mg and 36 mg and got quite the buzz. It was momentarily awesome! Kinda like the first time I inhaled a toke on a cigarette. But...... I decided it wasn't good policy to continue as being unconscious in a Ho Chi Minh city back ally didn't seem prudent. Ok, to get to the story.... I've resisted going to lower nicotine content because I don't see any problem vaping nicotine, just like I don't see any problem drinking caffeine in coffee. But it came to the time to resupply and my Sig. Other declared, "The flavours you like are only available in 12 mg right now, so do you want me to order?" I wrung my hands, hemmed and hawed, and as I watched his hand hover over the enter button, finally said, "Ok! Pull that trigger". The juice arrived and with fear and trepidation I opened some bottles and began vaping................ Awesome! No difference that I can tell. No cravings for higher dose. No more or less vaping than usual. Basically it was a no big deal at all kinda thing. I now think I could rather easily vape down to zero nicotine as long as I could still get throat hit, flavour and vapour production and not see much if any effect. This is really good to know in case some regulation tries to limit us. Yet another piece of evidence into what does or doesn't have such a strong hold on smokers.
  23. Welcome and I think you're perhaps very socially adept! You're intro was heartfelt and honest and sincere and that's a really good way to make friends Good luck indeed! I've been off cigs in favour of vapour for two years but there were a few years before that that I fiddled around with some of the first available ecigs and they just didn't work well enough for me to do anything but spend money on them as well as cigarettes. The stuff we have now is light years ahead of those things.
  24. Welcome! This is the only method that's worked for me, and I've got almost 50 years of Marlboro Reds under my belt, but been smoke free for 2 years. With the right battery, tank and liquid you get to replace the throat hit, nicotine, and imitation smoke exhaled which is a huge part of the smoking addiction. I just offer this 'beware' advice because I wish I'd known about it when I started vaping. The FDA and congress made a big deal getting big tobacco to admit the addictive nature of nicotine but the FDA and congress were incredibly naive and stupid IMO. They failed to get big tobacco to address the other addictive properties of tobacco which again IMO and experience are far more difficult to overcome than nicotine. If nicotine was the real bad guy, we'd all be able to quit with nicotine patches and a fake cigarette for the hand to mouth habit. It seldom works; most of us here have tried it again and again without result. This works if you make yourself aware of the other sneaky cravings that are in tobacco. It feels like they lace the cigs with things that work as bronchodilaters , steroids, narcotics just enough to make you want to keep smoking and not feel the effects until you've gone a bit without cigs, like a night's sleep and you wake up feeling all the damage that you've done. Notice how bad your lungs feel when you wake, and how quickly they feel better with the first cigarette. I mention these things because if you're aware of them you can know what you're feeling and be prepared. Most here advise using higher nicotine levels when those cravings hit and I totally agree. It does work for some reason. However after two years, when for some reason I can't vape because of location or social issues, I don't miss it any more than I'd miss a second coffee. I really don't think nicotine has any kind of hold on me compared to the other unknown additives to tobacco. Best of luck to you, It really works. And best of all, it's fun and you can still portray that bad boy image if you like that as I do without risking your health! Win Win!
