  1. Welcome!! Great place to just hang out, which part of the UK?
  2. At higher heat, the contents of the liquids can change drastically. Liquids are designed to work a certain heat levels, get too high and the chemicals can become more dangerous to the mouth. kinda like cooking milk--at lower heat no problem, at high heat it scalds and burns. I'm with earthling....ditch it. do you have some extra regular batteries? try your liquid using a lower voltage, lots and lots of water....salt water rinse can help too.
  3. I've had this problem with a couple of my tanks, If I remember correctly, the contact point inside the tank can get pushed back. somebody with more knowledge on this will be around. I haven't had this problem since I switched to the aspire tanks. For some reason, I had the same problem, but only on a couple of batteries.
  4. Yeah 4th !!!! Friends, Food and Tequila...life is good. Living in America is the way to live !
  5. Lol, I've really missed you guys!!!!!! Life got a ton nuts
  6. Honestly easy enough to buy liquid caffeine and it does mix well with e liquid, the end caffeine result isn't worth much, can't make the mix strong enough for the caffeine to be of any use. Plus the whole issue of not being processed well by the lungs. I gave up the experiment .
  7. Mix with any favorites!!!! Never add more than a couple drops at a time.....taste.....repeat. the mints are really strong. Great for spicing up existing flavors!!!
  8. Welcome !! quitting smoking will come along naturally as your body (and taste buds) decide they prefer vaping. Just relax and enjoy, don't stress over quitting just yet.
  9. Congrats !!! definitely the collection of a true vaper
  10. Welcome, glad you joined us. tons of info to be found.
  11. if you look to DIY, Flavor west makes a very nice chocolate mint, add to that coffee espresso (flavor art) and you have a nice mix. I get mine from ecig express.
  12. definitely seeing more and more people on the streets, restaurants and movie theaters. watching house of cards (netflix), second season and kevin spacey was using a pen style ecig. his character was smoking (secretly) last season.
  13. I actually make my own liquds so I can make them to my taste. I know there are quite a few vendors that allow you to select the amount of PG/VG. Hopefully somebody will be along that can help with that. If I dont have an option, I go 100%PG. The VG only adds a bit of extra vapor, given the choice, I will take throat hit
  14. I frequently have the same problem. sometimes if you set them aside to steep for a bit, that can help. I find when I am having trouble with my taste buds I try to mix up something new. then when I go back to my favorites they taste good again. I vape a lot of coffee type flavors, so if I switch to fruit flavors for a few days, that seems to help reset my taste buds.
  15. Good for you !! enjoy your new flavor
  16. Yup, Like BirdDog said. Been around since I started almost 5 years ago. Its the Digital vs Analog thing. for some reason it just stuck.
  17. My DIY journey began with mixing different flavors. Its fun to create new flavors. I will repeat the advice...use a separate bottle, experiment with a small amount first until you get the mix you like. Have fun, merry mixing !
  18. I have played with using caffeine, the end amount of caffeine in 30 mg of juice ends up being about the amount found in a cup of coffee. Vaping 30mls/day for a cup of coffee wasn't worth it. I will stick to vaping my nicotine and drinking my coffee. http://flavorwest.com/index.php/catalogsearch/result/?q=caffeine
  19. I still mostly use 18mg because of the throat hit. You will find some flavors are better than others. PG liquids give a better throat hit and hold flavor better. VG gives better vapor, but loses the throat hit. personally, I use 90% PG and 10% VG.
  20. You will find that PG based flavors will make you feel more dehydrated, VG flavors a bit less so. Water is good !
