Be careful with that coffee mix, it can gunk up your coil fast and burn it out.

Nice info! Looks like the old VTC 4 and the R25 should be what most people would want. When you factor in counterfeit batteries, your best and safest bet would be the R25s at the moment.

It feels great to have a batch turn out "right", doesn't it?
I've been working on a new 5-flavor batch and after a week of trying different combos (and yes, a little suggestion from Comp), I finally realized that I needed to reduce the % of one flavor a tiny bit and add a 6th and 7th flavor... Now, it's PERFECT... or at least it is for me, lol.
What I love most is saving $$!  My SO and I are vaping more juice (twice as much at lower Nicotine levels, obviously), and spending about 5% as much on juice as we did from the B&M's... so I don't panic if I make a 5-10ml batch that doesn't meet flavor specs... it just goes down the drain or into the "mash" bottle to see what Flavor-Frankenstein I can come up with

You can use 100% cotton, but it will give a odd flavor and is treated with chems you don't want to vape. Organic is cleaner and in most cases whitened with peroxide only. The Organic cotton pads are natural and not whitened.
That coil is about 1 week old. Not sure what you mean by buying it or order it... No, this is a stock coil I did not alter it (Fray the ends).
I want to add too that cotton balls do not wick well. The pads are far better at wicking.

When Mixing from scratch yes you want both PG and VG separate. If you are cutting a pre made E-Liquid, you want to mix the PG/VG ratio the same as the pre made E-Liquid if you want it to remain the same.

This is silica from a stock KPT coil, you can see it starting to fray.

Not sure about the stuff made in Poland, I stopped using it last year and went with cotton and haven't looked back.

Ekowool uses a Silica outer layer. I personally will not use it. It can break apart and fibers could/may enter your lungs.

IMO any juice that is that fresh should rest at least 12 hours. Kinda like Chile, it is always better the next day after it has rested. Even a steak off the grill should rest a bit before eating

Our local station had a story tonight about e-cigs. To their credit, their "expert" said that many of the explosions are due to people charging their batteries with the wrong chargers, that they need some knowledge of Ohm's Law, and should always practice safety first. Too bad that's a minority opinion in the news world these days.

When you go down to sub-ohm, the vape is warmer, and IMO, harsh.  Nicotine is absorbed faster as it gets hotter, so you MUST lower your nicotine by 50-75% when you drop to the lower Ohm coils.  For you to move from 1.5 to 0.5, that's a 67% drop, so I'd lower nicotine by at least that much, if not 75% (go to 0-Nic or cut your juice to 1.5 Nicotine)!!  You'll also want to change your juice ratio to higher VG content... 50/50 mixes are a good option, and the Kanger coils can handle 30/70 PG/VG without much problems or dry hits.
The only way you'll know if you like sub-ohm is to try it, but be aware of the Nicotine and VG requirements, as well as the fact that sub-ohming burn juice faster, hotter, and will deplete your battery faster, too.

I've been vary fortunate to have my e-cig refurbished and a brand new tank put on by the company I bought it from 2 years ago.  That means I've already saved $119 for a new vaporizer and regular tip, another $35 for a new tank, no cost for fluid cause I make my own and still have all my stuff.  I was spending $200+ a month on analogs (figuring 1 pack a day, which I was going WAY over).  I figure I'm saving $6 a day for 2 days now because I've not bought cigarettes.  So far, looks like I'm ahead almost $12

I always recommend the same batteries for anyone staying under 75 watts in a regulated mod:
    Liion Wholesale - HG2
    Illumn - HG2
    or
    Liion Wholesale - 25R
    Illumn - 25R
The -25R's are one of the best, most dependable on the market.  They will handle anything the invader can throw at it.  The HG2 is a newer battery, that will handle just about as much, but lasts a bit longer.
I would recommend you buy 4 batteries, 2 to carry with you at all times, and 2 to charge.  As for chargers, I recommend the Nitecore i4 or d4, Efest LUC V4, or Xtar VC4 or VP4.
