As of right now it's been one year since I got off analogs. Bought my first eGo T pass through on May 10, 2012 but still smoked while I got into vaping. Each day I smoked and wanted less until May 15th, I got off analogs completely and began vaping only. To be frank I've lit up a couple of times to satisfy my curiosity to see if I still had any desire to smoke again. After a couple drags I'd have to go brush my teeth and take a shower to get the taste out of my mouth and the smell out of my hair. Since then it's been a wild ride while I've explored all kinds of new vapor related toys, found this forum and met some wonderful people who have been so very helpful. They've taught me so much and in turn I hope I've been able to pass some of that knowledge on to new vapers. I want to thank Christopher for creating this forum and for working tirelessly to make it even better. A special thank you to Kitsune for pushing direct dripping so much that I finally got the nerve to try it, and also to Blucavvy, Jeffb, Mark, McQuinn, VaperRon, Uma, and Rixter who patiently answered so many of my questions when I got stuck. I know I'm forgetting to name some people here but you have my wholehearted gratitude for your help and making me feel welcome. After all the different methods tried, all the times I've tried to quit and failed miserably I'm so happy to be able to say, "This is it. I've been off cigarettes for one whole year. I hope to be able to say something like that next year...and the next...and the next...3 points

Thanks, Kit! And thank you so very much for all the help you gave me when I first ventured into direct dripping. Without your help and encouragement I don't think I would've stuck with it.2 points

Second this! Read reviews and get a better setup cheaper than the Blu was if you intend to keep vaping. It's a whole different experience with high quality hardware! Congrats, I am 3 weeks analog free in one hour!2 points -
Congrats on the 1 month tobacco free!!! I believe the blu are a kr808 and the ego is a 510 connection so I don't think they will go together without a 808-510 connector. (I've been known to be wrong before so take anything I say with a grain of salt)2 points

Best deal on CE4 I have found. I believe CE4, V2, and Stardust are all synonymous. http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?page=shop.product_details&flypage=vmj_color_plus.tpl&product_id=1156&category_id=391 point -
Well I think the thinner cap is a plus, I don't use metal DTs so I've no problem with heat. As far as price or parts you can get almost 4 of them for the price of one AC9. The newest ones have also gone to a polypropylene tank. The AC9 I would assume is still using PMMA, AKA plexiglass/acrylic.1 point

There's no rhyme or reason to when a juice will crack a plastic tank. Sometimes they do, other times they don't. It's all a gamble and you cross your fingers and hope for the best. While you're at it you might want to keep a bottle of juice and an extra clearomizer or three with you in case it does crack. With a bit of luck you won't have to experience it at all but keep a close eye on it just in case. And there's no such thing as a stupid question.1 point

You will find a variety of opinions, for me I like them all. each one is slightly different, couldn't tell you exactly what is different. All of mine give me excellent vapor, flavor and throat hit. I use: Vivi nova tank (1.8 resistance is my preference), DCT-Dual coil tank, cartomoizer and tank system(more complicated, but still use it), Evod BCC, ego CC clearomizer (works best with my fruit flavors) But my all time sweet spot, even 4 years and may gadgets later.....is dripping.1 point

This and yes Congrats! You are on a path to a healthier life style and a more enjoyable Vape! A simple Ego starter kit with a CE4 clearo might blow the kit you have out of the water(vapor) its where I started out after using a dispoable Blu Ecig and I love it and still use my CE4 Cleros and ego batteries often. They are a good investment to any vapers arsenal. Search around the forum, youtube, reviews etc on gear you find that peak your interest. Don't be intimidated by some of the lingo, and ask questions here for any concerns/suggestions! Happy Vaping!1 point

Dekang liquids have been around since I started 4 years ago. They are good liquids, just a bit light on the flavor. I used to use them all the time for mixing my own liquids. Their menthol is pretty good. I used to love the tobacco flavor and the coffee flavor, plus many others. Honestly other than light on flavor, There is nothing wrong with the dekang liquids. In many cases they are actually better for your heating elements and tanks because they lack all the additional flavorings added to liquids these days.1 point

Agreed, to each their own. I have now ordered juice from Vaporleaf, Eliquidmarket, VapeDudes, and Sweet-Vapes.1 point
