I Have Been Vaping For 3 Months And I Have Started To Grow My Hair Back.

Hi,

I started growing my hair back after not smoking for 3 months. Ok? So what? That's a big deal for me to find out that the only thing that has changed in three months is quitting smoking by using E-cigs. I wonder if this is happening to anyone else? I mean that it is coming back with a vengeance . I have been balled for nearly 25 years. I wonder if it is the PG? If anyone has any similar experience please respond to this post.

Thanks

Todd

No personal experience with hair growing back--but it does make some sense. Smoking is a vasoconstrictor. It slows the blood to all parts of our bodies--skin, and head would be included. I noticed when I smoked that my hands/fingers were colder than they are now.

Happy Vaping (and happy hair growth)

I haven't noticed any change in the hair on my head, except that it doesn't smell. I have noticed a increase in nail growth, both with the hands and toes. I have to trim them more frequently. Better oxygen flow in my body with no smoking.

My hairdresser did tell me that she sees a change in hair texture when people stop smoking. She said it can become less frizzy and dry. I've also heard of the hair of some people becoming curlier when they stop smoking.

I never heard of growing hair as a result of stoping the analogs, but...wow! Very intriguing. Please keep us up-to-date, as I am very interested in this.

LOL! I thought you said, "I started growing hair on my back". Was waiting for involuntary "howled at the moon" and "I ate the cat, but I can't remember", next.

That's what I get for reading too fast before my second cup of coffee!

Like Jeffb said, hair starts growing in strange places as we get older. Although he didn't say "back", he could have. :) Guess it's a guy thing. ;)

I was just about to post a question about hair loss. :iiam: Seems weird that your hair is growing back, but after about a week mine started falling out. I took a shower about 6-7 days into my vaping journey and while I was washing my hair, i pulled out about a handful. I freaked out because I thought maybe that cheap chinese cig I bought might have had lead in it or something :nuke: ... but it could also be a coincidence, since my mother's father was completely bald by the time he was my age :) (still, I'm not 25 yet, and not ready to go bald :no )

I too have not noticed any hair growth but my hair always smells clean now. Definately have faster growing and firmer nails. My dog is happy with my new found scratching ability.

I have noticed my nails are stronger, not breaking or tearing so easily anymore. My dog strikes a pose when she gets a good back scratch. Her head and neck stretches out and she extends one of her back legs. I think I just described dog porn...

Yep!! that is doggie porn!! My doggie rolls on her back for a tummy scratch, at least I think that is why she rolls on her back?

 We will just call that the submissive pose.

Did we just wander off topic? Where is Jeffb? :sofa:
