Lung inhales vs mouth to lung inhales

Recommended Posts

First off, I do have to say, when I smoked analogs, I generally, I think mostly did a mouth to lung inhale as well - started it as a defense mechanism when I was 15 and starting to keep from hacking up that lung - and did it often enough that a friend of a friend, when we were visiting her, took my friend into the other room and asked if I was inhaling, because she was giving us cigarettes, and she said, "I don't mind giving her cigarettes, but not if she's not inhaling them." At first I don't think I was even doing a mouth to lung inhale with e-cigs. I didn't even think about it, it's like you took the analog out of my hand, I forgot out to inhale, and then not long after, I saw an ECF thread saying you didn't NEED to lung inhale when you vape.

I never really did understand why some people would actually smoke an analog using the direct lung inhale. It just seems a bit unnatural to me... but I've always only done 'mouth to lung'... so it seems really strange to direct inhale anything. I thought it was funny that some folks only used the direct inhale method... and didn't even know what a 'mouth to lung' inhale was. I remember Chris making a video on 'how to properly inhale with an e-cig'... LOL. I recall reading many a thread about people wondering why they were coughing so much after every drag... well hello, try inhaling the thing the right way maybe? Classic.

I guess it was the day we were getting our first kits, I remember one clerk in the shop telling one of the customers, "The first week, don't lung inhale, because you are going to be coughing all that crap up anyway." Then the next time we were in there, she was helping a woman with a bad, bad smoker's cough, and the customer when she sampled kept trying to do direct lung hits, and she was very patient and explained, don't take it into your lungs, etc. Turns out, this clerk had a pretty bad smoker's cough of her own when she started vaping, and it's completely resolved now.

I always did the mouth to lung with analogs, so decided to try a direct lung inhale (with a 18 nic)...

I coughed so hard I think part of my left lung is still on my monitor...

Evidently, hubby started out doing direct to lung inhales. Then he tried Inferno. Just as he took a big hit, directly to his lungs, she said, "Don't inhale it!" Oh boy, did he cough. I tried it, it's not bad just in your mouth, or if you mouth to lung inhale (it wasn't until then that I realized I wasn't actually lung inhaling when I vaped)

I jumped in and drilled the hole out 2/64 inch more and it made a huge difference. I tried a straight lung inhale with my 100vg medic juice and it seems I have reached that asianic level of vapor. Its only at 1.4ohm at 5 volts and its a volcano.

Haha, glad you reached what you are looking for.

For all the people that are comparing analog smoke (vape) to hookah smoke (vape)......never smoked hookah before. I blow more clouds then any hookah smokers out there. So lung hits is a must.

You took the words right out of my mouth. The only thing I ever sucked directly into my lungs was hand rolled and we arent supposed to talk about it here lol. I never thought people actually did that with PVs. I do it exactly like I would an analog back when I used tobacco.

The only exception was the first and only time I let both batteries die when I first started vaping and had to lean on an Njoy disposable. Sucking on it like it was a straw in a soda was the only way to get any satisfaction out of it. Of course since then I have amassed a collection of various Ego batteries that I could last through a week without having to charge lol.

I've heard that about the cigalikes. That's why the first shop we went to doesn't carry them, and recommends against them. Better vapes carries an 808, but I think it's different from other cigalikes, and more like the PV's we typically use - but it's not like really displayed like some of the other stuff is, either. It's like in the corner of the display case, surrounded by other stuff - like it's there for someone that wants something that LOOKS like a cigarette.

So despite the fact that all of you veteran vapers on here said how you had tried the lung hit and realized you were missing nothing but misery I decided to give it a go. So I took a hit of my southern freeze 24 mg and was coughing so hard I think I passed out for a second. So you would think I lear ed my lesson right. Nope. Switched tanks to an 18 mg non mentholated peach fuzz straight to lungs and another coughing fit though no passing out or lightheadedness. So I decided to try one more time why I have no clue but hey I'm a glutton for punishment. So I decided to break out the 8 mg juice I chain smoke at night straight to the lungs it goes. Hum no choking so I keep pulling and all was well. Held for a second habit I guess from the only thing I've ever taken straight to the lungs and then 8 blew out a giant and I mean giant cloud of smoke. Holy canoli batman my daughter was sitting on the other end of the cough and says hey mommy are you trying to be a dragon? I loled a lot.

Honestly, the big reason that not getting a icky taste in my devices is so important to me is because I always hold the vapor in my mouth and then inahle if I ever want to - that's how I smoked cigarettes too. But with vaping, I really enjoy tasting the vapor more than feeling it go down my throat. Not that I don't like a thick, creamy throat full of white... vapor... but I gotta have a good taste with these things; none of that direct lung inhale to ignore a bad, salty taste for me. I gotta have my wick really lubricated in wet, gooey, cool moisture to really get the whole experience.

That's why I'm getting an air controll condum for my stick. I can't have the air going in and out of my tank like I'm throwing a hot dog in a hallway! The vape has to be really thick and create a lot of pressure in the tank or else it won't ooze that juice right onto my wick at the height of all that hot, steamy coil action.

Lord @ puns. I'd love to see Tim & Eric vape, no telling what they'd come up with.

Vape porn awesome ....

Lung hits always... True form of vaping .. I'm Jk there is no true form.. Whatever style of vaping you prefer, as long as it keeps you off analogs that's what really matters..
