  1. "I can't think of an approved reason you would have nicotine in your system." Well I can think of a few plants with naturally occuring nicotine most people eat. potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant and sweet peppers. If consumed in enough quantity it's possible to find it in a drug screen. I eat way too many tomatoes.
  2. PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL: This bill seeks to ban the sale and distribution of items containing or delivering nicotine that are not currently classified as tobacco products or approved as tobacco use cessation or harm reduction products by the U.S. Food and Drug Adminis- tration (FDA) and also to prevent minors from purchasing these products. It's an outright ban of ecigs bill
  3. "There should not be any new tobacco addict and the existing addict should be converted to a normal person to lead a normal life. This way our society will get some relief from the tobacco menace." Anyone else see something wrong with this statement? Should be converted to a normal person to lead a normal life? As far as I can see it, I am leading a normal life and have no need to be Converted. Have enough mormon missionaries knocking on my door trying to convert me. Makes it sound like we should be forced to live their definition of "normal life" Knock knock Who's there's? Convert sinner and give up your evil ways Nope "Close the door" Haha too bad can't do that with the government
  4. Looks like their skins are precut at 3" X 1.5" if you click on the "about us" link
  5. I gotta say that kiosks can be even worse then the fda. Here is an interesting read I got about them catching a smoking everywhere kiosk selling to minors. http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/link.html?uri=http://www.abc15.com%2Fcontent%2Fnews%2Finvestigators%2Fstory%2FElectronic-cigarettes-under-fire-for-targeting%2F06PXDQXwE0e7KsJkDkyRzA.cspx PHOENIX - In a hidden camera investigation, the ABC15 Investigators found Arizona electronic cigarette kiosk salesmen selling their nicotine device to kids. It is not illegal. But, there is controversy over what the devices do to our bodies. Amir Hakak operates electronic cigarette kiosks in four Valley malls. He said the e-cigarette helps people kick the real habit. “It is the same as the patch or the gum. Actually, we add the vapor to it. The smoker gets the sensation, you feel you smoke; you trick the mind,” said Hakak. It closely resembles a real cigarette. It blows smoke and has nicotine, but has no tobacco. The vapor is actually water. It comes with a battery and filter in a variety of flavors. And, it contains nicotine which not only makes it addictive; it also makes it come under the scrutiny of the Food and Drug Administration. Last July, the FDA found dangerous chemicals in some electronic cigarettes they tested including diethylene glycol, a chemical used in antifreeze that is toxic to humans. So then why are these e-cigarettes sold in a variety of flavors at kiosks in the mall -- where teens regularly hangout? That's the question John Wickwire asked when his 17-year-old son came home from the mall. “He come (home) excited and saying, 'Oh yeah, there's this new thing. It's so cool. They have these flavors,' and I'm like, 'what is it?' Oh, it's this new kind of cigarette,” said Widkwire. “We think this is cutting edge,” said former Arizona congressman, Matt Salmon, who helped push through one of the first public smoking bans. He doesn't smoke, but has seen devastating effects of smoking on his family members. “Our product is marketed to long-term committed smokers who are killing themselves with combustible tobacco,” said Salmon. Today, Salmon leads the Electronic Cigarette Association with very specific rules: they don't make health claims, don't sell to minors, and say they shouldn't be sold at kiosks in the mall. And just like real cigarettes, they should not sell flavors targeting children. But, we found just the opposite. Using a hidden camera, we went to a "Smoking Everywhere" kiosk in the Arrowhead Mall in Glendale. Not only did the salesman make health claims saying the E-cigarette helps with influenza and pneumonia, but he sold it to our underage shopper. With permission from his parent, Zach asked to buy the nicotine refills. They sold him 10. They never asked him for his I.D. and never even asked him his age. He is 16. “This was a critical mistake,” said Hakak, “You can come and check at each of our locations again. There is no way that it could happen again. “ Well, 10 days later, we went back to the same kiosk in the same mall with the same child. And the very same thing happened. Once again, Zach bought 10 nicotine refills. No one asked him his age or for his I.D. The only difference this time was that they charged him half as much. Wickwire thinks there's a better place for this product than the mall. “It's nicotine. It's addictive. It should be in a drugstore,” said Wickwire. The FDA warns against the product being sold to minors because of limited testing. Many countries have banned the cigarettes. But in the U.S., only one New York county bans them.
  6. what about trying http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/ ? they are based in canada. Chris might know some other canada based suppliers and there are a lot of states based ones listed here in the forums
  7. Well here is a link with 599 of the additives http://quitsmoking.about.com/cs/nicotineinhaler/a/cigingredients.htm
  8. Kinda curious which mall, I'm up here in CT as well
  9. I don't play, but I do deal poker for the World poker tournament. Seen some horrid bad beats in my few years at the job.
  10. Professional poker dealer, before that I worked for a computer arcade called proving grounds as a computer tech.
  11. Now aren't we glad it was Arnold in office and not someone on the payroll :P If I was in Cali I'd vote for Arnold for re-election.
  12. Then what's the point of mixing it except to add some flavor to it? That's exactly what it's for. It's great for making your own flavors but that aside, has no other use. As for buying PG to cut it with, that allows you to dilute the strength to where you want it at.
  13. flavorless has a slight sweet taste to it, at least from the place I get it from. Not a bad vape by itself. As for noobie, sorry to say but I'm gonna have to tell you it's spelled noobie only because of my gaming days :P
  14. BTW, phillip morris didn't sell flavored cigarettes except menthol. So this new ban takes out a decent portion of their competition. Interesting eh. Said it before but smells like a monopoly to me.
  15. Gotta agree, this site is the best for those just learning. Most sites flame you for asking questions and just point out the search bar instead of helping to answer an easy question. Search bars are too unsocialable and never hurts to ask questions, cuz someone may have a better answer then was stated in some old post Been here for a few months and check most of the new posts, not once have I been disappointed in reading responses to questions from new members. Have yet to see a single person flame someone for asking a question. Great member base we have. Keep up the good work
  16. Some places are changing the name to Electronic Nicotine Inhalator (E-NI for short) to dissassociate them with traditional tobacco burning products in response to the concerns raised by the FDA over how electronic cigarettes are being marketed. We are the Knights of NI :P
  17. Was an Everquest player for 9 years, tried WoW but hated it, don't see what the buzz about it is. To each their own. Currently waiting on Star wars the old republic, hopefully it turns out to be pretty great.
  18. No need to know the amount, just like knowing what I'm vaping though in case friends are allergic. Well can definately say your juice has produced more vapor then the others I've purchased from various places. Keep up the good work. Now I just need to get my hands on a bottle of that midnight flavor once it comes out, use to love the strawberry kiwi shasta soda when I was younger. Any idea on a release date?
  19. BTW, what type of glycerin are you using to make the VT liquid? Curious to know if its the usual PG or if its VG, kinda assuming its VG because of the vapor production on it.
  20. Guess I was the late bloomer, didn't start smoking till I was 20. Was stress that finally broke me down and got into analogs.
  21. 100% guarantee you will kill the battery, friend dropped hers in a full sink and even after completely drying it the thing was dead.
  22. What about just buying 5 empty carts and getting a bottle of 11mg to refill them with? Overall cheaper to go that route.
  23. 100% safe ? Probably no, but heck of a lot safer then analogs. And thats the comparison that should be made.
  24. Use to buy from parked till I bought a second 510 kit for a friend, came with bad batteries and never got a reply back from my several emails Been about 2 months now so just wrote it off and bought new batteries from a different supplier. He needs a bit better response for the customers.
