  1. Perfect! I am getting excited now. I think I am going to enjoy this. I love the draw on the Templar and IMO it is just a little restrictive to be DL.
  2. OMG! I am seriously laughing out loud right now. The queen of back-ups bares her soul. Fifteen?! That just might be overkill, lol. Anyway, I've been meaning to ask you, I hope the draw is just a little looser than the Nautilus? That thing was like sucking on a smashed straw. Oh and edit. Yes it is a Triton II. Glad to hear I made a good choice. Fifteen.... I don't even have fifteen pairs of underwear, lol.
  3. My daughter is a very talented writer and prolific blogger. Downside, she doesn't vape. She is an amazing researcher however. If you can get no one to do this, hit me up and I will bring the concept up to her. I hate to see this opportunity go unfulfilled.
  4. I'm gonna keep building for awhile before I attempt winding 30g. I feel like I'm walking on egg shells with 28g trying not to deform it during mounting and wicking. I found a Triton at a real nice price and have it on order along with some coils. Maybe this will pan out, maybe not. Maybe I have a very nice looking conversation piece, lol.
  5. Hey folks, I'm finding myself in foreign territory. I picked up a Beyond Vape Spire. Cute little unit. 18350 & 18650 compatible with VV and VW. Twenty bucks for a hundred twenty unit. Picture below. Problem is it wants a 1.5 ohm coil or better. I don't have any 22mm atties that I can cram enough wire into to get that kind of resistance. I see that a Kanger Subtank Mini and an Aspire Nautilus 2 do have coils in that range. Are either of these tanks any good? Any better ideas? Appreciate the help as always!!!
  6. @Tam preached that to me when I first started. I'm getting close to 30 mods now. They're taking over!!!
  7. You're welcome. First opportunity, get a back up. Even if it is a $20 mechanical tube mod. They aint fancy but they will make vapor and keep the stinkies away!!!
  8. Here's a link to the tear down of one. Not the exact same problem. Once inside it's kind up to you to look for problems. May the farce be with you!!!!
  9. That looks all correct. The watts are being calculated to the proper voltage per the resistance. If the 510 contacts on top of the mod are clean the problem is inside. Sorry..... 50 watts is plenty of power on a .23 ohm coil to get the thing fired up.
  10. I'm pretty confident we are on the right track here. Everything is fine except no power being delivered to the atomizer. Two other things that it could be, but you probably already checked are watts set way to low somehow or the device being switched into TC mode with very low temperature or watts available. Those possibilities are pretty much a stretch though as it sounds like you changed nothing in the settings.
  11. Welcome to the forum! Unfortunately, the only thing I can think to try is to clean the 510 connection on the mod real good. Q-Tip and rubbing alcohol or contact cleaner if you have some. Beyond that I think it would be ripping the thing apart and trying to see if something was not making a good connection.
  12. @gadget Exact same setup! That is amazing! That tank is just that, a tank. I think it weighs 10lbs. I can pound nails with the two assembled.
  13. No kidding? I haven't decided if I like it or not. The magnets on the switch take about 50lbs of torque to push, lol. Love the atty though. A local B&M had it. It is a clone but I have never seen a clone so well machined. Very clean. Even inside there are no bit markings. Threads are even super smooth. $30 beats $95 for an original, lol.
  14. Absolutely! For that organic moment being one the the vaping universe. Ah Um.....
  15. I just can't get over the fire button. Super smooth. Just floats in and out. Have a little Serpent mini on it and am getting a vape as good as any regulated mod. Just plain nice.
  16. Yo @Tam You were dead on regarding the Megneto. That magnet switch is buttery smooth! Very nice unit!
  17. Now, now, now.... Don't say it. No, it doesn't vibrate. Hades with a Sherman on top. Maxwell's silver hammer!
  18. That very well could be per the blueberry candy. Definitely wouldn't hurt to increase the milk and ice cream as long as the desired profile is still acceptable. @mattythornton I would go with the blueberry candy first. Tam has been at this far longer than I. She is my mentor. Process of elimination.
  19. Could be the blueberry. I know TPA strawberry ripe has quite a bite to it. Started mixing it with some CAP strawberry to get it under control.
  20. Found it. Sweet!!! I love it!
  21. OMG! That is truly hilarious. Bravo! Seriously, I laughed out loud. My cat thinks I've flipped. I'm diggin this thing. I put a little Serpent Mini with a .33Ω build on it tonight and I am getting a really sweet vape off of it. It's almost like temp control. Ramps up pretty quickly and then just kinda maintains a mildly warm vape. Nice long inhale and just enough power to the coil to make the flavor shine. I'm having all together too much fun with this vaping thing. One of my first mods was an Eleaf something or other that was a rather fat tube style mod with a 22mm mello atty. The battery didn't last long and I've always wanted one that would take an 18650. Well, this mech fits the bill. Funny, @Tam mentioned that you had some tube mechs on sale and after thinking back for a bit I realized I was eyeing the things but didn't know what they were. I thought they were some kind of weird clear-o-mizer. Now I get it. They were telescoping mechs. Daaaaaa. Oh well, I'm sure they got a good home, lol.
  22. @Tam I found a Magneto II. Hope it is as good as your original. WhooHoooo!
