  1. Good Morning All, I'm enjoying my Razzleberry Ring Pop in my kanger toptank mini on top of my ever-faithful pico Though later today I'll probably switch to apple cider in my gryffin since it's cold ouside and warm apple cider is a wonderful thing Then after dinner I'll probably have a cherry cordial ...without the calories!

    Help

You might want to try cotton bacon or Koh Gen Do cotton flats they have a cleaner taste. The VT store has cotton bacon but not the flats, but you can fine the flats on amazon I received some of the master of clouds cotton when I got some wire from amazon and I didn't like it ...Also ,you might be using too much cotton and they juice is struggling to wick well wick which can effect the flavor too. It's a trail and error process sometimes.
  3. I've been smoke free for 6 months on the 23rd of this month. After smoking since 1972, I never thought I could quit until I talked to my son's fiance and she told me to try vaping...she planted the bug in my ear and then a LEO/MP friend told me the same thing I went to local B&M and haven't looked back.
  4. Well Hi Brandon, Welcome to Vapor Talk! I'm sure you'll find other great vapors here to converse with There's a great group of people around here it's laid back and civil. I look forward to your posts. Edna
  5. People helped me learn (an ever on-going process....) so I just try to do the same. Have you tried/looked at this site? http://www.kritikalmass.net/ They have a ton of recipes and links to different ejuice calculators. Just remember that "taste" is subjective.... what might taste good to their palate might not taste good to you . If one of the recipes sounds good I'll add in everything except the nic making 5mls in a 10 ml bottle batches ...and then let it sit/steep for a few days, then I'll use a RDA dripper to taste it and if it's "off" I'll adjust where I think it will improve it and let it sit again.( take notes on the changes) once it's right I'll add in the nic and enjoy ....the nic changes it a little flavor-wise, but I take that into consideration for the next batch.
  6. Here this will make it easy. (all ratios for (1) 30ml bottle) of 100mg VG based Nicotine (or 100mg PG based nicotine) Add 0.45ml for 1.5% Add 0.9ml for 3% Add 1.2ml for 4% Add 1.8ml for 6% Add 2.7ml for 9% Add 3.6ml for 12% Add 5.4ml for 18% Add 7.2ml for 24%
  7. I was looking at the eVic V2 and was wondering if it can handle SS316 in TC? I really prefer the flavor I get with stainless and most of my mods can handle it but I was looking at the eVic V2 mini the other day at a local B&M and they didn't know if it could so I thought I would ask if anyone has one and if they've tried it. Thanks
  8. Have you watched some coil builds on youtube? These might give you some good ideas or basic knowledge that you want. Without knowing exactly what you're going for I can't be much more help...sorry. Grimm Green has a good basic one here or maybe Rip Tripper's here
  9. That's the truth! Shinyitus is brutally bad for my wallet My smoke free counter says I've saved about $650 but I know I spent at least that much since I quit...It's finally tapering off to just buying odds and ends now. (although I did buy myself a new shiny red toptank to go on my red mod for Christmas to be festive LOL however... I'm thinking of getting green replacement glass so it's even more holiday-ish ) I'll post pictures once it gets here! I found that keeping my mod in my hand or within easy reach all the time helped a lot with breaking the hand to mouth habit. I even kept a mod on my night stand until I had completely quit analogs. I'm helping my neighbor quit and I had to buy him a lanyard to help him keep his mod close at hand and he's down to 3-4 analogs a day and he's been smoking for over 60 years. It's an idea, maybe that can work for you too Larry.
  10. Rubbing alcohol also has a corrosive property to it, you might want to remove the seal rings asap so they don't get damaged. I don't drink either but I keep a cheap bottle of vodka around to soak my tanks. You might want to consider that as an alternative. I think I paid about $6 for it and it's 6 months old, I still have about 3/4's of the bottle left. It's worth the price for cleaning your expensive tanks without damage.
  11. Hi Larry and welcome to VT! It's difficult putting cigarettes aside. I quit back in May and vaping was the only thing that worked for me. Keep trying and you'll get it I'm not familiar with either of your set-ups so I can't help you there but I'm sure that someone will chime in that can. Maybe @FXRich @Bebop or @Earthling789 can help....They have much more experience than I do. Edna
  12. What Ohm's are you going for? Single or dual coil? Knowing what you're after will help you get suggestions. If you need a guide I recommend using Steam Engine coil calculator Here: http://www.steam-engine.org/coil.asp
  13. Hi and welcome to the vapor talk forum. I can only speak for myself but I buy my nicotine from a local B&M so I can't tell you any method for it. That said for making your own tobacco flavorings, I would look to how to make essential oils or something like that where you process your own plants into medicine. Rosemary Gladstar is a highly regarded leader in this field and has many excellent books on extraction processes. I'm sure you could apply these principals to tobacco. Most flavor is 100% PG so the substitution should theoretically be the same as using alcohol or water. I must caution you to try this safely and have your results checked by someone. Good Luck
  14. Well that's good to know that the decks are interchangeable For some reason I thought the 22mm came with the correct pin...my mistake sorry.
  15. After you play with it for a bit can you do a review please...I'm wanting one but want to see how it's working out before I spend that much...
  16. My daughter and I were just talking about my (then almost new)'72 RS Camero with the split front bumper in candy apple red I had (way back when) I realized it would be 44 years old now..... that was a wake up..... ....Honestly ....I don't feel that old but I guess it kinda dates me ..... I miss it and my 68 Mustang alot... When cars had style and muscle....those were the days!
  17. @Earthling789 Your tat artist is really good with shading. (I especially like the fish) I can see why you like him so much I just wish he was in Texas. I need one of mine re-inked... It's faded over the years and I haven't found anyone locally I'd trust with it.
  18. There was an elementry school kid here in Texas who in a mock election voted for Trump a bunch of kids jumped him and he now has a broken leg and multiple cuts and bruises etc... That's just wrong... Yes, voting is an important responsibility but the kids who jumped the youngster must have learned that behavior and hatred from home and the schools... Adults really should get a grip. I read an article that said some pampered college kids were demanding the day off because they were too "traumatized" to go to class....GIMME A BREAK! This is insane, I can understand emotions run high and such .....but this is ridiculous!
  19. Well, rebuilding the round SSOCC was an epic fail... It leaked like a sieve. I think I might go ahead and order the OCC 50 pack for rebuilding purposes. (or emergency) Thanks for all your suggestions! As always you jump in and help out and I'm grateful!
  20. I've got 4...I'm thinking about getting another across the small of my back
  21. Thanks guys, I ordered the 5 pack of RBA's if they work I might order more. I saw FT had a 50 pack of OCC coils for $40+ but was hesitant to buy them though the reviews are decent. I tried rebuilding the round SSOCC coil but haven't tried it out yet because my tanks were full of juice and I had running around to do. It wasn't that hard I just went in through the top and used a 2.5 screwdriver to stabilize the coil while I set the legs then I wicked it and it seemed to go ok. I'll update once I switch it out.
  22. Question.... Has anyone tried rebuilding the round SSOCC coils yet? I've found videos on rebuilding the OCC coils but not the SSOCC ones. I imagine the principal is the same, pull the pin and grommet then take out the old and install the new and replace grommet and pin. The reason I ask is I now have 2 toptanks and only one RBA I'm waiting on 5 RBA's from online shopping but they won't get here this week and I want to replace the coils in both tanks. I also ordered a couple of the OCC coils from the VT store but they'll be a few days too. I have other tanks and such but I'm enjoying these so much I like them in my daily rotation..... Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks

I've never tried that brand, but I used the TFA green apple to make a caramel apple and it turned out nice...Hope that helped.

Hi, I like the green apple from TFA and for caramel I have been using CAP. though I'm not 100% sure it's the best but it does work well when I use it with double dark chocolate to bring out the flavor and make it smoother. IMHO. Of course it all depends what you're after. I like a more tart apple flavor and then I can add sweetener to taste. I tried another apple and it was way too sweet for me...I forget what brand it was though sorry
