So as most quasi veteran vapers and newcomers will soon come to find out, some flavors are hard to really get right. This post is really a two part topic. What ejuice flavors are really hard to nail, and what luck (if any) has anyone found of finding those elusive gems. Let's start with the obvious. Cigarette flavor. Now I'm not talking about tobacco flavors cause that is a completely different topic. The closest I have found is London from http://www.want2vape.com Vanilla. I have yet to find a true vanilla. Most taste chemically and artificial or just like sweetener. Coffee. Another tough nut to crack. Partially because everyone has a different idea of what a good coffee should taste like. We all prefer our coffee taken differently. Every coffee I have ever tried either tastes very artificial or the burnt gunk at the bottom of a pot of cheap diner coffee. Chocolate. Now a lot of people swear by this chocolate chip cookie or mocha whatnot. To me 99% of them taste either really chemically or like really dark chocolate or worse even bakers cocoa. Yuck!!! Now I said 99% because my search for that elusive sweet milk chocolate has ended. Belgian Cocoa from Halo is light years ahead of any other chocolate I have ever tried. It really is the chocolate you always dreamed of. http://www..com/chocolate-eliquid.html

Oh and also you can use a pair of tweezers to crimp the coil around the backside of the wick. The idea isn't to get the wick closer to the post as it is to have as little room as possible when the coil leaves the surface of the wick to the positive post.

Just bought 2 new glass tanks for my DID. If I try and fix my wick and coils because I think I have a short only to realize my tank is empty one more time I'm gonna scream. Lol!

Don't get me wrong I like Scott's reviews. Sometimes though it's more informative and how too than an actual opinion on a product. Don't get me wrong I have used his videos for tutorials many times. He's just not that opinionated.

Want the truth? Well here it is, EVERY system out there has a flaw. It depends on what you're willing to compromise on. The Vivi Novas don't leak but, provide a dry/burnt hit depending on the juice viscosity. Bobas being the thickest just won't work. I place all top fed clearos in the same category. They are also very hit and miss with the heads. One could be great and the next garbage. To me this system will never work consistently enough to use. The whole design fights itself. The coil is at the top and the wicks hang down to wick the juice up to the coil, all the time fighting gravity. This style people have been trying to get right for 2 years now and while the Vivi nova works the best it still has the issues former models had. Just not as often. Bottom coil clearos work better but still have leaking issues and still have consistency issues. Cartomizers have had consistency issues as well (bogegate) but for the most part that has behind us now. The good thing is that if one or 2 in a box don't work well you're not out very much money. Bad thing with thick juices is that the kill cartos very quick (2-3 days) They also mute flavor. Great thing about them is no leaking and very pocketable even a tank. All in all I believe they are the most consistent. I use Bobas in a carto tank at work most days. Atomizers have better flavor than cartomizers but tend to leak and splatter back in your mouth at times. Even with a drip shield they tend to leak and also make the draw much tighter than I like. You also need to keep a bottle with you to drip. Also remember "Friends don't let friends drip and drive."Lol Genesis atomizers have the best flavor but have a bit of a learning curve. They also aren't very pocketable as they leak when laid down. I prefer these to carto tanks when not at work. The flavor is that much better. There are also a couple enigmas that don't really fit into just one category. The Penelope is a rebuildable atomizer but it's surrounded by a tank that doesn't leak and has an adjustable juice control. The GP Spheroid is kind of a rebuildable cartomizer but also uses a wick to pull the juice from the batting. It also doesn't leak and has better flavor than a traditional cartomizer and since it's much bigger than a standard carto holds much more juice. I haven't tried either but both look promising. So there ya go. While none of the systems are perfect some are more consistent and solve more problems than others. Figure out what is really important and what you're willing to sacrifice and figure out what works for you. For me it was 2 systems. A carto tank for work and while I'm out and about because leaking is my primary concern. While at home I don't have to sacrifice flavor for portability so I use my genesis attys.

Not all of them. Some you can just pull off the cap and refill like the jonboy lava tank, unique tank, bella tank, and elegance tanks. Just as easy as a Vivi Nova and you use 1/2 the amount of juice per day. Gaga the tank you picked out looks like a good one. I prefer the pull off tops like the ones mentioned above but it's more of an aesthetic thing. The fill hole should make filling easy and it's glass so it should be fine with all juices.

I too agree with Mae and Uma. Too new and expensive for me right now. Mesh works brilliantly for me so I'm happy. I've also heard it works pretty well with 32g but with 28g Kanthal it just can't wick fast enough.

The way I see it is this. If I spend $200-$300 on a mod I can surly justify a $30 drip tip. Kinda like eating fine sushi on a paper plate or putting plastic wheel covers on a Ferrari. $30 is less than we spent on smoking in a week. Lol

Absolutely nothing. It's a chemical reaction between plastic and chemicals in the juice. One of them being citric acid. You leave orange juice (the drink) in a tank long enough it'll do the same thing, yet we still drink it. Unless your lungs are made of plastic you're perfectly fine. It's literally the same as drinking a glass of OJ.

See this is where Uma and I differ. While the wicks do last that long and there is nothing better than a well seasoned wick. I change my coils every week to week and a half as I have found out that no matter how much burning and quenching you do it will never taste as good as a new coil once it's broken in for a day. It also makes me more proficient in wrapping coils as I get more practice. I can now twist up a coil faster than I can clean it. Lol. Not to mention it costs me all of about 10 cents to make a new one.

You are right sir. There was a study just released that showed that absorption of nicotine is 3-10 times slower than smoking analogs. Also there is no sign of cardiac distress. Yes I am addicted to nicotine but science points to not dying because of it.

It gets easier and we all get those days sometimes. Especially if you're into rebuildable atomizers like I am. Forget to take the battery out of your mod while building a coil and accidentally hit the button while holding the wire. Yep been there I hate to admit more than once. Lol!

Answer to #1 0mg should be fine and BTW 11mg is pretty low so I wouldn't be worried. Nicotine absorption is 3 to 10 times slower than traditional cigarettes which results in no acute cardiac side effects. Bonus!!! Just to let you know the health risks of nicotine are about equal to that of caffeine. At least that's what the science is pointing to as of right now. Nicotine in itself has never been linked to cancer or heart disease. It's some of the other 4,000 chemicals in cigarettes that do. I actually know a lady who was borderline COPD and her Dr. told her that if she didn't stop smoking in the next yr. the effects more than likely would be permanent. She told him that she was going to try an electronic cigarette and he strongly advised against it (ignorance). She did and a yr. later her lungs have started to heal, she is no longer borderline COPD, she vapes 12mg strength nicotine and shows up negative on her blood tests for nicotine, and her Dr. refers patients to her for help getting set up and quitting. He even asks her for the business cards of the vendors she gets her liquid from to hand out to his patients. I say this to let you know that even if you don't completely get off the nicotine to not go back to smoking as this is a way better and healthier alternative. I do applaud you for the conviction to do so though. I also do echo the water thing. Stay hydrated. Also listen to your body if you start to get a stomach ache or a headache lay off the nicotine for awhile. Answer #2 Your math is right on point with the proportions. Money out of pocket initially is a hit but will balance out once you find a juice you really like. (that's if this doesn't become a hobby for you like it has for me. I have yet to break even I think, but I'm an exception. You don't need multiple $200+ mods to stop smoking.) You can really offset the price if you start making your own juice but I wouldn't advise you do that just yet even though it really isn't that hard. If you can bake a cake you can certainly make your own juice. Concentrate getting a juice you really like first and getting off the stinkies. Answer #3 I hate to be a bit of a downer but nothing you do to the juice will EVER make it taste like a cigarette. There the cat's out of the bag! You just can't duplicate the taste of chemically treated burning leaves. Don't fret though not all is lost. You have a huge advantage going for you. Menthol as you have found out is easy to duplicate yet just not in the proportion you like. Menthol smokers usually have an easier transition into vaping than non menthol smokers do. Menthol goes really, really well with fruit flavors. Here's a very popular vendor that is known for really good fruit and menthol flavors. They even allow you to choose how much menthol you would like. http://rawrvapor.com I think you'll really like them. Remember that even if you don't like a specific juice that there are literally 1,000s of flavors out there. Just stick with it and congrats of making an awesome life changing choice.
