  1. I've been told they're very difficult to rebuild. Saw a video of an aspire coil head being rebuilt and converted to a single. Im gonna tear the spent one I have down and see what I can do with it.
  2. I'm definitely done playing the coil game though. If it doesn't have a rebuildable base I don't want it.
  3. Horizon Scion. It's the predecessor to the Arctic. I was suckered into it. I think I've found a source for coils and I think the Spartan coils will work with it but I want the. 6 ohm coils that came with it.
  4. It will definitely be a work in progress. Could take years.
  5. I bought a subohm tank a few weeks ago only to find out a couple of days ago that the coils are no longer available. Imagine spending 30-40 dollars on a tank that you really like and coils no longer being available. I'm swearing off buying anything else that doesn't have a rebuildable base. I can build my Freakshow to get me about 30 minutes of vaping without redripping. So far I haven't seen a rebuildable tank that gives me what I want. I'm seriously considering taking an RDA and this tank I have to a machine shop and trying to come up with something.
  6. Welcome Snap. You will find some really great people here and lots of good information.
  7. Hi Zack. Welcome to VT.
  8. Bras of silk And Unicorn's milk
  9. I don't have to Arctic but I do have the Scion which is predecessor to the Arctic. With a .6 ohm coil this thing vapes like a freight train. Horizon is my favorite line at the moment.
  10. When I entered my first name it was BJ Strokum.
  11. I've made a 1ohm coil on my Freakshow with 5-6 wraps of 28 gauge and really liked it made the wick ends a little longer so I could tuck the ends down in the juice well and it would soak the up juice. I really enjoyed it as I could vape on it for probably about 30 minutes without redripping. I recently made a dual coil at .4ohms that's really good too. The trick is to bend the leads just right so the coil is properly centered above the air holes. Either way single or dual you can't go wrong with this atty. If you have an android phone download vaper's toolbox. It will let you plug in values depending upon what you want and tell you how many wraps to use to achieve tour desired resistance. And remember safety first. I don't know how experienced you are with building but definitely know the limits of your device. Read up on battery safety and ohms law. There are charts that with give you this type of information. If you don't get that right bad things can and will happen. Oh,and post pics of your builds. We all love to see them and share ideas.
  12. The MVP 20 watt was my first mod and I loved it. Lost it in an incident a month or so ago. Since then I've bought 2 3.0's and I can't say enough good things about them. I've never owned any other mods but I believe for the money you can't buy anything better. I see no reason to ever own anything else.
  13. That's pretty sweet cany. Looks pretty rugged too. What is it?
  14. I used to say the same thing. Now it's "I'll never go below .4"
  15. Got an e-mail from Vapor Dna. They have the kit now with a isub tank for $71 I think. I'm sold.
  16. Got my second MVP 30W in the mail yesterday. Anxiously awaiting the Pro 60W and the isub tanks in glass.
  17. I'm sold on the Horizon tanks. I have a Spartan mini and a Scion which was the predecessor to the Arctic and uses a .6 ohm quad coil. Very well built products.
