  1. how did you run the cotton on it
  2. that is sort of true, but one resistor has to be at least 10x smaller ( the great the delta the closer to the lowest resistor ie 100x) than the other and its only for quesstimating. ie 2 resistors in parallel using the product divided by the sum equation ( lets ignore inductance for all sanity:) 10 ohm and 100 ohm = 9.09 ohms 10 ohm and 1000 ohm = 9.9 ohms 0.2 ohm and 0.5 ohm = 0.142 ohm 0.2 ohm and 1.0 ohm = 0.166 ohm
  3. i like em all, really great stuff thanks for sharing. maybe coil building will stop my vape equipment spending one addiction for another...lmao
  4. oops wrong picture, this one was before i cleaned the tank. but i assume everyone gets the idea
  5. Did some shopping today, got a sigelie 150 w box, kennedy rda, artic sub tank, 2 mxjo 18650 batteries, 2 15 ml kilo dewberry juice, 2 unicorn tubes 30ml, 24g wire the juice is amazing and the artic has a 0.2 ohm JOC coil and can handle up to 80w. if i wrap the box i might just put the kennedy on the brass monkee black tube.
  6. I hope not, and im will be looking or pieces with great engravings more art work
  7. cool looking, i assume you would want to wic that with a single strip of cotton like one would lace a shoe? How was it performance?
  8. ok i will try a 22g inner with a 32g outter or what i can get at a the B&M. i was hoping to keep the resistance down on the outter coil with lower guage wire. would like to target 0.25.
  9. i can only imagine, did that with hot peppers while cooking and i know the pain you felt. WOW no water just take the pain, forget water boarding this may be a new technique.
  10. ya, the noon existing on board charging was what made me look at ipv, but its something i can over look. the on board charger is nice to have on long road trips and in an emergency situation
  11. sent you a pm, about a J2P Box mod but here is another place you can get it brand new. The only i have with it is laser engraving. J2P Box Mod
  12. ya i like prefer vape only shops to smoke shops, just a major difference in personnel.
  13. I know they are in texas, i seen some boxes in NYC. They are gorgous. I am not a member of that forum, i did a search for the horimono but i can get u the information.
  14. i also assume that one shouldnt go over 4 or 5 wraps. Since the outter coil will be absorb the heat of the inner coil i assume there is a delay before you get some vape.
  15. ya thanks for the battery info, since the 150 is a few bucks more and everything is identical except for the silver lines even if i dont use the extra power im just going with the 150. I saw pictures of the ipv 4 and i hate the hole they have in it for charging. Why i cant say but when i first saw it i said what the heck. The only questin is whether to buy it or not
  16. I saw it on the consignment shelf at a local B&M, the dragon caught my eye. The owner said the guy had itone day hated it and wants to get rid of it. I think he wanted 40 bucks for it. Why he was getting rid of it so quickly i do not know. Have you looked at these? Horimono Block custom box mod You can have anything you like etched on them, choose battery type, volt meter . Not sure of cost, but if i hit the one year date of non smoking i am getting one or maybe the copper cherry bomber by MCV. But then again we will see what is also floating around in 9 months..lol
  17. I only wish Tam. Then to stop from both units being put where the sun dont shine; i would also have to get a burberry bag or a pair of jimmys and that would hit the budget a bit hard. I really need to work on my negotiations skills.
  18. Ok; so i thought i would never be looking at 100w+ regulated boxes; but when i set up my mech mod at about 80w, i was blown away. The vapor was so warm and flavor was incredible. I tried the juice at different levels but nothing came close. And once i aligned the air holes right on the coils the vape is incredible. So i been looking at box mods and the two that stick out is sigelei and the ipv. now the price for the 150 is few bucks more than the 100w, thus i would pick the 150 out of that group. The IPV4 is expected out soon as a 100w box. Should i just get the sigelei, wait to see what the reviews on the ipv4 are or forget the regulated boxes all together. i hear the price for the ipv4 will be around 125 so there close enough in cost.
  19. how would 26 wrapped around 22g do or should the delta of the wire be greater
  20. shen; it hits hard, i had to get use to it at first. i am running a 0.2 load at 3.7 v. that should be drawing about 18.5 amps. im using mxjo imr 26650 3.7v 3500mah 35a igh drain rechargeable batteries. They are brand new as i ordered them once i kknew i want a 26650. I charge them at 0.5 amp rate. it sounds llike your not making a good contact some where, did you try a different rda?
  21. @trey: im impressed i seen others do it and i could only imagine how frustrating it is. but the results are definately impressive
  22. Sorry i just realized the notes didnt show up in the picture: the mods are currently setup as internal batt ip mini is set for 20 w 26650 brass monkee is built for 80w 18650 cartel is built for 69w 18500 nemesis is built for 45 watts 18350 gaia is built for 27w
