  1. You weren't bursting my bubble lol and I find it funny that you think you were I just agree with the name you've given it and since a Fuzed Clapton had to normal core wires, not Clapton wires. And spacing is all about preference I wanted the larger spacing.

  3. A Fuzed Clapton doesn't have Clapton wires for the core though and this build does and if it was fuzed then the outer wrap would be tight not loose..
  4. Ok guys help me out and let me know if you've seen this yet.. I know it's similar to a caterpillar track but it's not one so I'm trying to figure out if it's been done yet. I two 2 strands of 28 gauge and wrapped each of them with a 32 gauge wire separately. Then I took a 30 gauge wire and loosely wrapped the claptoned 28's together in parallel. If it doesn't have a name I'm gonna call it the "Tank Track" since that's what it looks like to me lol I'm sure it's been done before I just haven't seen it yet. https://vimeo.com/126642799
  5. This is a Fuzed Clapton Build, I used two 26 gauge kanthal wires and wrapped them with a 30 gauge kanthal wire. By wrapping them super tight I Fuzed the 2 26 gauge wires together creating a larger wire with less resistance. This build fires at .13 ohms and chucks clouds and flavor. All of this was done on a Swirlfish rebuildable deck.

  7. Well ohms law tells us that whatever your lowest resistance wire reads that's what it will stay at even with the wrap. I'd go with a 4-5 wrap 24 with a 32 that should keep you at around .2 ohms. My buddy wanted a cloud comp build so I did a 20 gauge with a 32 gauge wrap and did 5 wraps it hits a .09 ohms lol that's to hot for me but he produces some massive clouds with that set up.

  11. It is only the inner core that's heating up so the thinner your outer wire the faster it will ramp up and the delay isn't really noticeable if your using a very small wire
  12. Here's the step 2 photo I didn't realize I posted the step 3 photo twice.

Step one take your wires and wrap them around each other at the ends so they begin the wrap process and bend a small 90 hook in the end so it will lock into the chuck of a drill Step 2, lock the core wire in the drill and leave the excess wire that your going to use as the outer wrap hanging loose. Step 3 lock the wrap wire in your fingers around the core wire and start the drill this will begin the wrapping process. You will slowly move your hand down the length of the core wire while wrapping to keep it from over lapping. This will take practice but it's not hard once you get the general idea This is what the finished product should look like. The wrap should be so tight there are no gaps where you can see the core wire.
  14. 26 around a 22 would be fine if you could get it to wrap nice and tight. It's very difficult to wrap larger diameter wires being as they are thicker but if you could do it then I don't see a problem with it. And I'm heading to my local vape shop to make them some claptons tomorrow so I promise I will post some photos of how to wrap them and what not.
