  1. Bebop; I agree with you, I have two favorite shops and they always tend to my needs. However it can be shocking to a new customer who is a bit shy or even let say a reporter doing a story comes in Tugboat; I too like to hang out and chat about flavors etc etc. BUt honestly we can come up with some venting. Earthling; I agree, there is a good vape store near me with excellent prices. I would say best prices around 20 miles, but they hire the biggest drools that i dont even bother. Im sorry i am bothering you can you please take my money. Only happened once, but the worst was were two employees were carrying a conversation in middle of one of them helping me check out some items. Yup the ugly guinea had to come out and explain to them professionalism, courtesy, and i know your boss extremely well theory. I will say one guy was smart enough to see his error and improved his performance and service, not sure where the other one ended up. Perhaps it will be better in spring when they will open windows.
  2. I was leaving a B&M yesterday and noticed a cpl almost walk into the store but then turned around and left. I started a conversation with them in the parking lot and basically they got intimidated/turned off by the huge fog that was present. I do agree it was a bit ridiculous. I basically also went in and got a juice and then left. I would of loved to check out the display cases for any new arrivals but figured another time. I understand B&Ms hire college kids; there friends hang out and try to out do each other with cloud banks and what so ever. I am sure it even generates some sales. Of course they have also offered good information when i ask a question or two and the sales kid didn't know. I am in total support of being able to vape in public, especially a vape store. Perhaps a ceiling fan or air purifier wouldn't be such a bad idea to have operating in the store.I can only imagine that yesterday's experience is not a rare phenomenon. P.S. The couple followed me 15 miles down the high way where i brought them to another B&M that is operated by a husband and wife team. Introduced them and left, hoping we have two new members to our community.
  3. @shen_long86: NICE....also getting the cartel boss 26650. let us know how you like. which rda is that? picked up a bottle of juice maniac's strawtassium and copper skull head drip tip
  4. So i have had a few ask me how I was enjoying the freak show so here are my thoughts. From here on; I will use FS instead of Freak Show. I built the FS with 2 coils of 24 guage wire with seven wraps for a total resistance of 0.4 ohms. The coils were placed right over the air flow vents. The unit came with grub screws and i left them in, still to early to say weather they are better than the normal screws. I used cotton bacon as the wiq and used it on my 18650 cartel mech mod. The unit does come with spare o-rings and a full set of philip screws. Now building on this unit is typical as other RDAs. I do feel the post holes are big, i was able to feed both leads in the center post without any issues. The FS hands down provides the best flavor out of all my RDAs. The draw is real smooth and no matter which juice i used it tasted phenomenal If you are into clouds, then this isn't for you. The FS is the lowest cloud chucker i have. I believe that since the coils are .right over the air vents they do not get super hot. You can fire the mech a sec before you draw on the FS for more vapor if its a must. On the positive side of coils not getting hot, the unit does not get hot nor does your mech mod. You can vape till your battery goes dead. Not sure what else i can say but will be happy to answers questions. Again; please remember this is only my opinion and nothing ore than that. J
  5. I do hearread that surface area gives you more vape.... a local B&M had a competition and the posted a description of the winners setup in the store. if i remember right it was a 0.8 ohm 24 guage dark horse on a 100w sigelei. I didnt see how big or what ever the criteria is that everyone seeks. Sorry not a big cloud chaser so my knowledge of it extremely limited.
  6. I look at it this way.... i had to buy the cigarettes, the addiction made me do it. My vape gear purchases are at my discretion and free will. Ok now i have been guilty of a few spontaneous purchases.... dam those shiny things in those pretty display counters.
  7. I thought the PG free were for those who had PG allergies, I mean does "100%" vg give you that much more of a cloud than 90% vg.
  8. Welcome and congrats on the year long cig free. So much mis-information is being spread that it is as dangerous to us as cigarettes themselves.
  9. i find these a bit more interesting http://tkovapor.com/tko-wraps/all-wrap-designs.html?p=1
  10. ya i might play around there, would like to do some more original art work.
  11. IMHO, always make sure the juice is made in the united state of america not usa, china or any other place in china. Play around with your airflow , voltagewattage settings until you start to find what you like. Try some juices in a 50/50 ratio with no nic. If you get juice that is made on the spot, wait 4 to 5 days to develop flavor. I am assuming you don't have a cold or anything that is interfering with your sense of taste.
  12. my doge v2 seems to give me the most flavor of all,
  13. do you know where you can get printable wraps? I think it was 3m who had a diamond wrap i was going to apply on my audi, until i saw someone had done it already in my neighborhood. Dam it looked sweet.
  14. I always ask for the raw data, show me your research.... The biggest threat here i not whether its antifreeze or not, it is the skill levelintegrity of reporters (talking heads) spreading mis information or reporting it in a biased format. Remember its all about rating or paper sales. If you can report all the facts then dont report anyhting, cause you did your job half ***.
  15. Good Article; wish it went into deeper details. The shame of it comes when you read what people comments are. I never hear anyone talk about that the nicotine is optional. The Industry should really focus on public relations.
  16. so where did yu get the material to wrap? did u take the units apart to wrap em?
  17. nice work....maybe you can make a little side biz out of it. custom wraps I love my ipv mini but some freaky art work might make it a bit more attractive
  18. definitely sounds like your on the right track
