@Adversarious1 is right about the COV mini volt but I love mine. It does drive me crazy that it shuts off if you put it down for a few minutes. I have it paired with a Wotofo Serpent mini RTA and it's a great vape on the go.

You're going to love your pico, I still use mine daily though I have a large assortment of other mods. Would you Please do a review on the ipower nano kit I've been thinking about pulling the trigger on one they're just cute.

I got the mini volt and ipower nano for my wife. She has pretty small jands and thinks the istick 40 is too big. I broke out the mini volt last night and she loves it except for the turning off. I will probably breakout the nano this weekend. If it works anything like the 80w unit it will be a solid device. I run a ipower 80 almost daily. She will not be using the melo 3 mini it comes with as she does not like sub ohm hits, she will be using it with a nautilus mini, her tank of choice for now.

  2. The leaking may be oring related. I have recently run into a leaking issue with my subtank plus. I noticed a few bubbles one day coming from the bottom of the tank around the oring. I would love to find some orings, to replace them, but even Kanger's site does not list them.

The orings rub every time you open the tank, over time a little wear will occur even if the orings are lubed up with juice, they could be the culprit.

My track record in regard to converting others is at a dead zero.  My wife just says no and my oldest daughter has serious reservations.  Her best friend and business partner is a pharmacist and she wants confirmation that vaping is perfectly healthy.  To me that is a bizarre requirement, but I don't challenge it.   Neither of them smoke enough to be have a great impact on their health.  Sometimes attraction is better than promotion.

If she is waiting for a "perfectly safe" option, you could point out that breathing is not "perfectly safe". You never know what is in the air you are breathing.  A little extreme, but does have a bit of truth to it, especially if you live in a city.

I agree larger bottles usually cost less per ML, usually because you're only getting one bottle (less packaging expense), lol, but also because they discount "bulk" size to entice you to buy more for a few pennies extra.  I would have bought my juices in 1-L size if they were offered like that ;)  Today, the industry standards (based on consumer demand) have pretty much become four main size bottles... 10, 30, 60, and 120ml.

I think what @Christopher was getting at was still offering discounted pricing for volume purchases, but providing the actual product in several smaller bottles, rather than one or two large bottles?  For example, if you order 240ml, you'd get eight 30ml, four 60ml bottles, or two 120ml bottles, rather than one 240ml...  From a stocking standpoint, of an item with a shelf-life, having to carry multiple sizes is a nightmare in the stockroom, so I see the beauty of only stocking one or two sizes of bottles... only 30ml, 30 and 60ml, or 30 and 120ml sizes... and configuring orders to accommodate those size combos.   It will keep the stockroom easier to manage and will ensure all products shipped have a longer shelf-life for the consumer.

Years ago when I managed a grocery store, people would often ask "why don't you stock 2oz jars of X or 2-gal jugs of Y?".  The short answer is that they go bad sitting on the shelf because they are not a high-demand item, and in the long-run, stocking six different size jars of Mayo (and a dozen different brands) just doesn't make good logistical or economical sense, when 99% of the shoppers generally pick up the standard or economy-size (double-size) jar, despite having other size options :D

I agree, too many different sizes would be a headache. My suggestion would be to add 120ml bottles, as in my experience 30ml and 120ml are both very popular. I know that I personally would be ordering the 120ml over the 30ml.

  5. I personally like 120ml bottles, except for the lack of ability to fill tanks directly from them. I order juice in 120ml bottle when ever I can. I have a couple dozen 10ml and 30 ml bottles I fill from the 120ml bottles for when I need portability. I would probably order larger bottles if available for my favorite flavors. Black Night, King of Churn and Crown Jewels have slowly begun to be my go to flavors over the local B&M juices, but VT juices are $3.00 more per 30ml, so if the price was closer due to  bigger bottles, I would most likely be buying more VT juice. I generally "treat myself" on weekends with the VT juices.

  6. Like Rich says above a lower ohm coil will produce more heat at a set voltage than a higher ohm coil. Watts are not constant across a range of resistances as they are a product, I think, of the relationship between resistance (Ohms) and voltage. It has to do with Ohm's Law. I get the basics of, but don't understand Ohm's Law well enough to explain it. All I can recommend to get it explained is to look up Ohm's Law on the net or wait for someone here that can actually explain it.

My guess as to why we set watts on our mods is that it is actually a finer adjustment than volts.

  7. Sorry to say, but cloud comps are hurting people that vape responsibly, IMO. I like a  good cloud myself, but I generally use a rig and juice that don't produce clouds unless I am home. I used to smoke cigars, and could produce clouds very comparable to those pictured, granted a different technique. Vaping IMO is meant to get people away from smoking and the stigma attached to it. Most nonsmokers see vaping exactly the same as they do smoking due to the visual clouds. I can get my nic fix with barley any visual evidence, and no smell offensive to most. I vape a coffee flavor when at work as there is always a coffee maker or someone with a cup close, and  make sure I am not around anyone that minds the minor cloud I make.

To each their own, not judging, but had to comment.

  8. I have had that happen too.

But what gets me often is my mod for work. It sets the wattage to what it thinks is right for the coil everytime it powers up, like when you change the batt. Apparenly some engineer some whee thinks 18w is good for a 1.2 ohm coil. Just a bit hot. Gets me about once a week.

  9. Not trying to rush you, just providing more info:

Have not fired up the laptop (third device) since the other day. While at home, lousy weather didn't go out this weekend, I have to re-login in on my desktop and phone each time i switch between the 2. I did turn off the wifi on my phone and log in a couple times turning wifi on after logging in, but each time I did, the desktop was logged out next time I checked.

When I went to work today, I left myself logged in on my desktop, and logged in on my phone at work. Still logged in on my desktop when I got home. Have not checked the site on my phone yet though. I know that in the past I can check the site from either my desktop or phone at home as long as I am already logged in, and don't use the laptop.

  10. I used the Nautilus mini regularly, almost exclusively for quite a while, and still use it on occasion. My wife and I notice no difference between the 1.6 and 1.8 ohm coils, I buy either. If you are primarily a DL person, you probably won't be very happy with one. with the airflow all the way open, there is just about.....almost..... enough flow to do DL. It can be done, but there is too little airflow for me. MTL, though is very good. I have run 50/50 juices all the way to 70VG/30PG. For me chain vaping on breaks at work the thicker juices don't always wick fast enough, I usually stick with 50/50. My wife who never chain vapes and has a very shallow MTL style has no issues with the 70VG/30PG juices.

I believe from what I have read here the the coils from the triton mini also fit and they have a greater selection of ohm ratings. I'm sure someone will chime in and correct me if I have the wrong tank that shares coils.

  11. I generally keep myself logged in to the site on my desktop and my phone, both using Firefox. Normally there is no issue, I click my link on either and check the new posts. On occasion, I fire up my laptop I got while attending college between jobs a few years ago because the wife or daughter is on the desktop. When I do that and visit VT, I am logged out on my desktop and phone, and I have to put in my user name and password every visit on both the phone and desktop for several weeks afterwards. If it was a one time thing I would think nothing of it, but it goes on for weeks. I am on day 5 since I last used my laptop, also running Firefox (first time in several months), and have to reenter my credentials every time I switch between my phone and the desktop to log in. As long as I do not log into this site on my laptop for several weeks I no longer have to re-authenticate every visit on both the desktop and phone. No other site I frequent has this issue. Any help appreciated.
