  1. Anyone know what are the vape shops like in this area? I will be traveling to State College in May to visit and would like to be able to, if needed, visit a vape shop while I am there.
  2. You know Jason you can vape outside too. I wish this New England winter would just end, I need to get outside for a day or two.
  3. Depressed! I miss spending $20 a day on cigarettes. I also miss the tired feeling all day, the winded feeling from walking flight of stairs. The thing I miss the most about smoking is the wonderful aroma of stale ashtrays.( insert sarcasm) But, not nearly as depressed as my brother who hung himself 6 years ago while taking Chantix. Next question.
  4. Bulls don't wear shoes. Seriously though. The shop told you that Mother Milk @ 18mg nic didn't contain 18mg/mL of nic by tasting it? And then they sell you a bottle clearly marked 2mg and told you it was 18mg/mL ?
  5. Had to add the labels myself. This must be from a first run. Others I have seen have the sizes already marked on them. This is one of the coolest tools I have bought.
  6. If you look closely at an older version of the Nautilus BVC coils they have smaller wicking holes. The newer ones have a bigger hole. The older ones were first reviewed by pbursado(Taste your juice.com) and others ( I believe riptrippers). They took the coils apart to see what they are made of. The newer Nautilus BVC coils come with a warning card that tells you to let the cotton absorb the liquid for 2 minutes before vaping after a coil change. The fibrous material in the older ones, when dry, disintegrated when rubbed around into a powdery, flaky mess. Once wet, this material didn't seem to react that way. I believe this material was used in the Atlantis coils as well Just my two cents, I am not scientist. Mad yes, but not a scientist. I wrote a post about the Nautilus coils here...
  7. ^^^ forgot to mention that, Thanks Tam.^^^
  8. Does the clone or the authentic Atlantis have a spring loaded center pin like the Nautilus tanks does. That once the atomizer is screwed into the base it pushes the pin down a bit? Or is the center pin flush with the base of the negative side of the 510?
  9. +1 Jason, that is what I meant, tired and beer = slow brain
  10. Tom to answer your questions about coils the best place I have found is http://www.steam-engine.org/ . It is pretty self explanatory
  11. Hooker, N200 is a nickel wire. Those coils have been designed to be used with the DNA40 chipset mods like the Vaporshark DNA40, the vaporflask dna40 or any other regulated mod that uses the Evolv DNA40 board. If you use them in your sub-tank on a mech mod, you will burn up the cotton instantly, not to mention that .12 ohms is a dead short as far as a mech mod is concerned and your battery will most likely fail and vent. Kanthal has a higher resistance per foot and is suited for ordinary everyday vaping. The N200 has a much lower resistance. those premade coils are extreme sub ohm and need the temperature regulation that the DNA40 is programmed to achive. With those mods you set the temperature you want to vape at, NOT the voltage or wattage.
  12. I Like my Igo-w with a crest cap. great air flow and easy to build deck. My Tugboat has an easy to build deck as well not as much air flow. Both have 25ga. kanthal 10wrap dual coils, .5ohm. they have great vapor production as well as great flavor.
  13. Let's see you have a kanger pt3 and an ego V v2. If you are looking for more vapor from that setup. even if you were to go with the istick 30 or 50 watt you would want a better tank setup. I would suggest the aspire Nautilus mini or the full size. Use the smallest ohm coils you can buy for them, which is the 1.6 ohm coil. Other than that I would suggest the Aspire Atlantis sub-ohm tank with the eleaf istick 50w. that set-up chucks huge clouds. I have the 50w and love it with a Nautilus mini. I am looking at the Atlantis tank for the future. The eleaf istick 50w is great. The battery lasts for days with a standard tank setup running 1.4~1.6 ohm coils at 10-12w. Also, for better vapor production. a higher VG blend juice will give more vapor. something like 70-80%VG. 60% does a decent job as well.
  14. Now the fun begins to forget you even have it for a few weeks. But, I also can't wait to here about it
  15. Tahiti EVO and polished Tuboat v1
  16. Just checked out that on their site. It looks as if they changed it to a 50w device.
  17. Geez, I even got a good feeling about your success. Almost like it was me doing the good deed. Great job Earthling. Look at you spending other people's money again. I guess Tam and I are off the hook for now. Even though I think Tam needs a Kayfun V4. LOL
  18. Mirage, How did you make out with this? Did you end up finding him something?
  19. Is that a .50 cal pen holder in the back to the left?
  20. Welcome Reasoned. Couldn't agree with Tam and Bebop more. Start higher and work your way down gradually. If you were a 1 1/2 pack a day and 12mg of nicotine are not cutting it go up to 18mg. Find yourself a good tank to go with that spinner that is easy to maintain. Like a KangerTech Aerotank. Coils can be fairly inexpensive. Especially if you get them online. Always look for genuine never buy ones that claim to be and are knock-offs. Check the Vaportalk Store or check out the suppliers forums, there are good online stores there, like Sweet-vapes. Ah crap didn't read you post fully. From what I understand the Ego1 is a good newer one. The spinners can be a good back-up, as you have already found out and Tam will repeat this a hundred times, "you need back-ups for your back-ups." Wait she already has. LOL.
