So I finally got my new toys in the mail. I'm officially a vaper!

So I bought one of those L Smoke vapes at the flea market about 2 months ago. It was cool really like the strawberry flavored liquids I could find. But I would smoke it a few times and then go right back to the analog. Pack after pack I would continue smoking analog and few and far between would I switch to my L Smoke. Then one day at work I went to lunch and found a Vape shop down the street. Walked in and was amazed at how my life was about to change.

I bought myself a new tank. Also got a iTaste base that goes up to 11V. Bought a few small trial flavors and was still kind of back and forth. But yesterday I finally made the complete switch. I didnt have any kind of analogs on me and almost stopped a few times to buy a few packs but I remained calm and kept on my Vape. Smoked it throughout the day and realized more and more how much I liked my vape more than the analogs. So during lunch I went back to the shop and bought a full bottle of Space Jams Pluto flavor. And I am hooked. Also tried out Suicide Bunnys Mothers Milk which was pretty cool too.

I am really invested in this it seems now after a day and finding this forum and reading so much and realizing there is so much to learn and do. Im looking forward more and more to my journeys. But after that long winded beginning I just wanted to say hi.

Hello all. Just quit chewing after 16 years and switched to vaping. My buddy got a vape from a friend and I gave it a try and thought it could actually get me off the dip. I went and bought an Aspire tank and Vision Spinner and it worked out great. Last week, I went and got the Vision Spinner II and an Aspire Nautilus. I'm slowly fazing out the nicotine in the e-liquids. I'm loving my current set-up and the blue razz juice I recently got. I'm here now and staying away from the dip. I went from a can a day, down to 1 chew after lunch which is getting pushed to later and later after lunch and will soon be gone.

I have a 4-bay intellicharger and love it. It's never gotten hot while charging and I like that it tells me where in the charging cycle it is.

I think I might've left a couple of things out.

Cutting a juice works well if you don't mind muting the flavor a little.

Another thing to do is see if your local shop(s) offers any free samples, deeply discounted items about to go out of date, etc. Sometimes they'll give away 1/2 bottles (remainders of what they fill the demo tanks with) or close-date items, if you ask...

Also, Killer-Juice runs a weekend sale every Thurs-Sun... 99-cent, 15-ml bottles of decent vaping flavors (limit of 5 per order)... $5 will snag nearly a month's worth of juice (for roughly the cost of a day's smoking)!

First approach -

Change to 1.5 coils (1.8 would be max) and get your juices mixed to 50/50 pg/vg

2nd approach

Upgrade to Evod2 dual coils and tanks and keep the 50/50 juice

3rd approach

Spend the money on an Aspire Nautilus or mini Nautilus

After that, it gets fancy. You are really asking for the holy grail of vaping: big clouds and cheap, lol

Welcome! Good choices on the gear! I have been smoke-free for 6 months. As Dobie said, taste changes as you go along. I have tried so many and some I started with I CAN'T stand now. But there are plenty of others I won't be without! Good luck on your vaping journey!

Tastes change quite a bit, keep trying different juice and it'll come together, I smoked for 34-36 yrs and found vaping and been smoke free for 9mos as of the first of august. Before you know it it'll be a done deal.

Worked for me and the wife. The Blu style didn't at all. Lasted a day then back to analogs. I think our biggest issue was getting our nicotene levels right from the beginning to satisfy the craving. We were at 24mg nic for about 6 weeks and decreased to 18mg last Friday. Also finding a juice you like will help too. I tried tobacco flavors first but burned out quickly.I have 2 go to flavors that I can vape all day now and I have another to try thanks to a local juice maker. You can do it sounds like you have a good starter kit. Alot is mental after you start vaping. I still smoked a analog a time or two after we started but have been completely smoke free since.
