  1. Where ya goin? Can you link me that three hour tour of coiling please (: I have seen some coil vids but none that long/detailed.

I work on an oil rig in a section of the gulf of mexico called Eugene Island. About 100 miles of the coast of Louisiana.

Here's the links to the videos. It's part 1-5. All tolled it's something like 2 hours and 48 minutes.

Hope you enjoy it. I did. Mike from madvapes isn't as kooky as rip tripper but the videos are packed with info for folks like me just starting out.

  2. Alright everybody it was a big day for me. I haven't been posting to much for a few days because I've been doing a bunch of research. Did you know they have a 5 part video on youtube about coil building that's almost 3 hours. Before I reveal my purchases let me say thank you to all of you that helped in one way or another in my decision making process. I specifically want to thank Tam, Ma,Comp and Charlie for their one on one attention. I feel I went into this well prepared.

    I also got:

    28 gauge kanthal

    Pre-boiled organic cotton

some "short pipe" coils for my evod style tank

    Tank stands

Luger lock syringe and 20g needle (still haven't filled that damn davide mini)

I'm going to the walmart or home depot down the street in a little bit to get a 2ml screwdriver set and a torch. Probably some needle nose pliers. And some dykes.

Hey Tam did you see what item I put at the top of the list?

  3. IDK. I heard Flipper had a nasty drug addiction after the show went off the air. Some shady happenings around the part of town where he was living. Don't know for a fact if he ate anyone though. Those rumors about TV stars can be blown out of proportion sometimes, imo.

  4. Good stuff MD. I started with the eGo vv and MT3 tank. I've since purchased a ZMAX 5 and assorted tanks including a nautilus and Aerotank. Moving into the RDAs soon. Doing my research. Been off the analogs a month and a half now. No looking back.

  5. Fadora Vapor Strawberry

    Fadora Vapor Watermelon

The some more Fadora Vapor Strawbwerry

Are you fu***ng kinding me? This s**t is the bomb. I know every one said it was and it wasn't that I didn't believe y'all. But everything I've tried so far has been so subjective. Equiptment included.

Anyone out there that is reading this and hasn't tried Fadora Vapor. Do yourself a huge favor and order some. I'm trying to place my c-note order but the website doesn't like me. HELP COMP!!!!! I'm trying to make sure I get the order before I leave next Monday night>

  6. I called a while back to every b&m in Lafayette. Asked the same question each time. I was looking for a low resistance long barreled sealed dripping atomizer. Somewhere around 1.5 ohm if possible. With drip tip, drip shield and 510-510 adapter. Not one single store knew what I was talking about. I'm not saying they didn't carry them or were out of stock. They didn't understand what I was trying to buy. One store, ragin vapes, although didn't know what I was asking for, did offer to sell me a rebuildable dripping atomizer. So at least they have some knowledge of vaping outside ego batteries and 80/20 (pg/vg) premixed eliquid.

  7. I purchased an ego battey, MT3 tank and charger (no wall adapter) for $40 at one of the local stores. At least it was a VV battery albeit 650 mah. They wanted $35 at the kiosk in the mall and it came with a not-so-good tank (the plastic 1.5-1.6 ml kind with the braids from the top coil) and non VV 650 mah ego for $35. These prices as I have come to understand are high. Lafayette has to deal with that @%#@& from TKO vapor. Read the chatter about him online. Overall not impressed with lafayette b&ms. None of the stores offer options to adjust pg/vg.

  8. Correction on above review. The drip shields don't prevent leaking front the bottom of the atty they prevent what does leak from running down into the well for the 510 connection on the battery. Thankfully that is also what the 510-510 adapter is designed to do.

  9. Yesterday I tested at least 20 different flavors. I would purposely switch flavors that were drastically dissimilar. Smores then blueberry cheesecake then pina colada. I wanted to see what kind of crossover I would get. Since I'm not a big fan of the dry metallic hit that tells me its time to drip I would often get a good amount of mixed flavor. I am adventurous by nature and the often bizarre mixtures didn't bother me all that much.

Now I was warned about the leaking bottom of dripping attys - the disposable sealed and unsealed kinds - and I was prepared. The drip shield I purchased with the attys did it's job of keeping the liquid from running out of the bottom of the atty. To be safe I also purchased a 510-510 adapter to help with keeping any juice that did escape from getting in between my atty and battery. As it turns out I didn't use the shield much because it is a half inch shorter than the atty (I bought long barrel attys) and I didn't like the way it looked. Leakage was minimal anyway. A quick swipe with a paper towel took care of the problem.

The only criticism I have is that the drip tip doesn't fit the atty opening well at all. I was constantly adjusting the connection to correct the issue I was having with sucking unwanted air from between the drip tip/atty top.
