  1. Is that a drip shield? Where'd ya get it? It looks like Tam gave you some atomizer advice.

I need to buy a drip shield but madvapes wont process my card for some reason, and I haven't found one in the same place I was ordering other stuff lately.

I've been getting most of my hardware from kidney puncher. I'm really impressed with their willingness to walk me through my purchases. They are very knowledgable and patient, qualities in demand for a guy that has a LOT of questions.

That drip shield came in a kidney punche package called "drippers delight". Two LR 1.5 ohm attys, drip shield, drip tip, and 510-510 adapter.

Tam recommended Empire Mods and a guy named Keith. I think he owns the place. He may be a fabulous representative of the company but the girl i spoke with didn't have answers to my questions ("uh, I'm pretty sure that will work") and she seemed to get kinda annoyed with all the questions I had.

  2. Oops I just realized these threads were seperate. I've been wondering who kept changing the thread titles between this and bump when you buy something new.

I got this in vapemail today and I'm thrilled :)

I saved about $25 on my favorite juice, and I'm getting ready to wrap some flavor coils! Jennifer will be home later and ill have everything I need ;) This cake batter will really get her in the mood I bet.

Thank you compenstine for the deal and making all this juice so fas

I just answered my own question. you ordered so much with the sale comp is having on e-juice.

  3. we have a few shops in Lafayette but one has horrible reviews on the internet and the other sold me an eGo 650 mah with knockoff MT3 tank and charging cable (no wall adapter) for $40 before I knew what was really going on. so I get most of my stuff online.

  4. They look great. I can't wait til I can start building stuff. I've moved from eGos to my first VV/VW. A Sigelei ZMAX. I've been told to go slow and learn everything I can along the way. I'm trying. Thinking of starting my first building project with a simple coil in a dripping atty. Haven't figured out which one is the easiest yet. watched a few youtube videos. The iGoW didn't look too bad.

How long have you been building vaping gear? How did you start vaping (eGos or cigalikes)? how long after you started vaping did you get into building stuff? What was your first project?

I'll take any recommendations for a good "starter" project.

  5. alright got the thing to stop reading "short". It fires and vapes but the airflow is stuck in the "all the way open" position which, imo, is only usful for lung hits, which isn't my thing.

I'll try pliers comp but was trying not to scuff it up if the vendor wanted me to return this one in the event an exchange is needed.

  6. While I was offshore in two days I bought:

    (1) vision 1300 mah spinner

    (1) vision 1600 mah spinner

    (1) Aerotank

    (1) Aerotank mini

    (1) Davide mini

    (1) Aspire BDC glass ET-S

    (1) Nautilus tank

    (1) haka twist eGo

    (2) 2500 mah 186500 batteries

    (1) battery charger for 186500's

    (1) charger for the eGo's

    (1) Sigelei ZMAX5

    (4) Low resistance 1.5 ohm long barrel sealed bridgeless atomizers

    (1) drip tip

    (1) drip shield

    (1) 510-510 adapter

About 150 - 200 mls of liquid, 10 coils for all the tanks and a lanyard

And the funny thing is when that buying spree was done I had the sneaking feeling that I had forgot something.

  7. Jerry, you'll have to review that AeroTank Mini for me... I "think" I want want, but not sure if the base is worth the triple-price over a KPT3 mini.... I can get the KPT3 minis for $8-10 all day long... and the cheapest I've seen the AT mini is $29 :(

My suspision is that as long as my tank has the kind of airflow I enjoy (I do mouth to lung so I like a somewhat tight drag) then the airflow adjustability issue is moot. The Nautilus is an awesome tank and I don't regret my purchase but I set that sucker on the second to tightest airflow setting and leave it thaere. I'm guessing the Aerotank/Aerotank mini will be the same way.

My main thinking behind the mini Aero and davide was that I wanted the "top of the line" tank for my eGo batteries. Been using MT3s and they are okay, but I'm assuming the mini davide/aero are better. Plus they are visually appealing to me. and they have glass tanks.
