I get a lot of my juices from Mt. Baker Vapor. I just checked my receipts, my orders range from 2 to 4 days to get to me. I especially like that you can have them add extra flavor "shots" to your bottles.

3.7 volts is the industry "standard" in basic vaping. Any device that puts out a fixed voltage (isn't variable) is putting out roughly 3.7 volts. Generally it's the perfect balance of power to the heating element (coil) that produces enough heat to give you good vapor.

If you wanted to cook an egg, you could cook it on "low" and wait 15mins- but that's too long. If you cook it on "high" you burn the outside before it cooks in the middle. So somewhere there is a happy medium that balances the cooking time with thorough cooking. Same with vaporizing. 3.7 volts is the "medium" temp that gives you a nice vape. BUT...

Not all juices are created equal. And not all heating elements (coils) are created equal. Some juices can stand a little more heat and still taste good or even better. Some guys smarter than us figured out how to make custom heating coils that can vaporize lots of juice and produce big vapor and lots of taste. And so Variable Voltage was born. With variable voltage you can cook on medium low or stir fry your juice on high, but it requires a proper set up with coil and juice to make a difference.

For most of us "regular vapers" we will never vary our voltage outside of roughly 3.7 - 4.0 volts. In a regular off the shelf coil and tank set up 3.7 volts is the sweet spot and the only variation is the juice. Some juices can take a little more voltage and taste good. Some juices don't like a higher temp (in an off the shelf set up). Variable voltage give you the ability to finely adjust your voltage to your juice.

When you get in to advanced vaping and building your own coils then Variable voltage gives you lots more "playground". You can build super duper coils that can take high voltage and throw massive clouds but this requires more skill and technique and an aptitude for electronics and tinkering that a lot of people don't want to be bothered with to be safe. (Safety is a factor when dealing with advanced set ups. If you don't know what you are doing you can create an ego pipe bomb - I'm being dramatic)

Devices like the Vamo described above are slightly more advanced than a fixed voltage e-cig and are relatively safe because the tanks you put on top of them are still off-the-shelf and user friendly. But they do give you the variability to adjust voltage just like the ego twist or the vision spinner style batteries. They come with a few more features and bells and whistles and they are cool looking and match larger tanks and such.

Wattage - the short version is that the term wattage is used to describe the power that is generated when you put a certain voltage across a coil or heating element. When you "vary the wattage" you are still just "varying the voltage". It's looking at the same equation from two different sides and relatively meaningless to the average vaper.

    Hope that helps a little.

For anyone that is confused about VV and VW, RipTrippers just uploaded a very informative video on the topic. He made it very easy to understand the difference and when you would use the two.

As much as I wanted to like Mt. Baker Vaper's juices, none of them tasted good to me even after letting them steep for a month or more. It's just my tastebuds and they don't seem to mix well with them. Many others love their flavors.

Fadora Vapor is having a 20% sale on all their signature line of juices right now until Feb. 28th. I just ordered several bottles. Compenstine from our forum is the owner. In the Signature line you have the option to have him put in real spices into the juice, which to me, makes it taste soooo much better.

    Hi Vapor Talkers,

My name is David and I am from London, United Kingdom; been vaping since Christmas and I have complete fallen in love with it. Actually have no time for cigarettes any more, mostly because I no longer need to lighter, but more important they actually far better in my opinion.

At the moment I used starter kit by Vapourlties which I picked up in The Range, a store here in the UK, and has served me well. Just ordered a Innokin Taste 134 and counting down the minutes until it arrives! Moving on up.

Here to find out a little bit more about what is going on in the US, as I believe you guys are somewhat ahead of the curve, hence finding out about the Innokin and mods.

Hopefully will get mote and more UK folk to join the chit chat here and learn a thing or two about vaping.

Please say hi and drop me a message to introduce yourself. I will say hi back, eventually , as I am particularly unpunctual.

    Lots of Love,

    From Sunny (yeah right) UK,

    David The Vapist

Hey folks, I'm from Long Island NY and traded in the tobacco for an ego starter kit in November '13 and haven't had a cigaret , a cigar or even the desire for one since. I actually gave a cigar a try in late December, (I used to have a cigar a week at the cigar bar in town) and I put it out to Vape instead. I don't miss them one bit.
I upgraded to an Itaste VV around christmas which was great for a few months but just this week got a Vamo V5 and 5 extra batteries and I'm sold on mods now. I haven't changed tanks yet. Im still vaping on the Kanger Ts3 and I'm looking to upgrade to the Aspire Nautilus which for some reason is difficult to find in stock right now. It seems like it is a very sought after tank with its great reviews.

I could care less about food coloring as long as it is food grade coloring. I am fairly certain one of my favorite flavors, Unicorn Blood, doesn't naturally become bright red lol.

Also I read someone in this thread I think, been busy day, say liquids should be clear or amber if not colored BUT many liquids will darken over time or as they steep. Endless Summer is clear, almost cloudy out of the box but after a few weeks sitting it turns into a fairly bright yellow color.
