I purchased a mech mod the K100 from them a month or so ago. Shipping was okay fast. I think it took under a week to arrive. The price was fantastic!! I did not have to deal with CS at all so I can not comment on that. Good luck HTH's

I was never good enough to play professional hockey. Maybe if I pushed it I could have played college, but I was just burnt out after my amateur days were coming to an end. I actually only got on the ice about 5 times from 18-23 years old. I picked it up after that and started playing in some beer leagues. But in the last 3-4 years, I have started playing at a much higher level. It is a lot more fun now that I am older. But like I said. I thought my lungs would feel a bit better, sooner. Either way, I am happy to have quit the analogs and switched to vaping. Because I enjoy the hell out of it.

That is awesome to hear!! I spent some time as the "old(ish) fat(ish) guy" too lol. But a little over a year ago I decided to get into better shape and dropped about 40 lbs. I figured it would be easier to get in shape in my mid 30's verses 40's. lol Funny thing about it is: I had been quit from smoking and dipping for 10 months when I started working out and doing a lot of cardio, but started smoking and dipping again to help drop weight (appetite suppressant). I wish I picked up vaping back then. But my wife was good and kept on me about quitting again, and that's when I bought a Blu to give it a try. The rest, as they say, was history. Although I do find it kind of funny that some major pro athletes do smoke still. I have heard many rumors that some top end hockey pro's do. LOL.

Hi All, I was wondering if there were any athletes on here and how vaping has effected their "wind"? I have played hockey all my life. I have played as an adult when I was not a smoker, and when I was smoker. And I have noticed a lot more lung capacity when I was quit from smoking. When I first switched to vaping I did see a bit of an improvement, but not like when I was fully quit (No cigarettes, and no vaping). Has anyone else noticed this when really pushing your heart and lungs with vigorous exercise? I still get that deep lung burn, but not nearly as bad as when I was still on the analogs. I thought it would have been gone by now. I do feel it getting better, but that burn is still there. Anyone else out there experience this? Will it go away with time? On a side note, when I was still on the analogs and dipping, I would notice that my feet would get very cold (numb) very quickly on the ice. I always assumed that it was because of the nicotine constricting my capillaries and slowing down blood flow to my feet and hands and being in a cold hockey rink. But now with vaping, it is not nearly as bad. I still get some numbness on the feet, but not like before. I wonder if it was all the junk in analogs and the dip that made it worse? To add. My time waiting has a cost associated with the wait. I would rather pay a couple dollars more for an item and know that it will ship out ASAP. I have yet to have something I purchase from a US vendor online take longer than a week to get delivered once it is in stock. Heck, I'll even pay an additional couple of bucks to purchase something at a B&M and get to use it immediately. That being said. Fastech does have some crazy good deals. I would not be opposed to ordering from them if I did not "need" that hardware now and could wait a month+ for it to come.

Does it happen while you are chain vaping? Or, chain vaping then waiting a bit then going back to the PV? I used to dip, and I would get a nicotine overload sometimes that would make me feel a bit sick and woozy. If it happens after chain vaping and you get some juice in your mouth, maybe its just too much Nicotine at once. Just a thought. Either way I hope you figure it out and stop getting a mouth full of juice. I agree with BCarter, a better tank should make the splattering stop too.

I agree Patricia. The funny thing about this place I went to, is that they have no (zero) sales background. There is a shop in Kalamazoo MI, it is obvious that they have received some sort of sales training. When you come in they ask you some questions to see what level of vapor you are, and base their suggestions from there. I go into the shop I started the tread about, and its like pulling teeth. Almost like they are annoyed that I am trying to spend my hard earned money there. AND... I could swear that when I was in a few weeks ago buying that Trident RBA, that the RSST came with a bunch of extra's in the box. Yesterday when I asked about it the lady said that it just came with the RBA. Before when the guy owner was showing me I am pretty sure that it came with some kanthal wire, SS mesh, and some wick material. I think that when the "regular" customers come in on the weekend nights to vape and hang out at the Vape lounge, the owners harvest stuff from the boxes and use it as free swag. The more I think about it... This shop makes me a bit aggravated. SV

Right!?!? I really didn't think of it until I got in the car to leave. I don't think that she or her husband (the owners) were trying to be deceitful, just not aware. Maybe they are. Either way, I think that I am going to limit my purchases there from now on. I just did not like the attitude I got from her when I mentioned anything clone. Especially when they are selling clones!!

Hi all, I stopped by a local B&M vape shop yesterday, I wanted to grab a RBA (the RSST). I had bought a Trident RDA two weeks before from them. It is not a super great shop, but we do not have many in the Metro Detroit area and it is somewhat close to my work. So, it works in a pinch or when I don't care to wait for shipping. While I was looking over their hardware, I see a Nemesis Mech Mod. I ask," is that a Nemesis clone"?. The lady says, "we do not carry any clones, we only sell the originals", while she looks down her nose at me. I was kind of taken aback, by her tone and snarkiness. The reason I want to know if you guys think that the owners of this shop may be hypocrites is... That Trident RBA I bought there was a clone!! Unless they are selling them at a loss. I paid like $22-$25.00 bucks for the Trident there (it has the Grand Vapor logo on it and everything). I just got done watching a Rip Trippers video right before I went into that shop comparing the Original Trident and the Trident Clone. And the RSST is a clone of the AC9. Maybe they meant their APV's or Mods are all original not clones. But I thought it was pretty hypocritical for them to say they don't sell any clones, when in fact they do. What do you guys think?? My $.02 is, that if I had all the money in the world I would buy the authentic product. But I don't... So, I save a few bucks and buy a clone to get to experience some better RBA/ RDA's and Mods. I don't need the owner of the store to treat me any differently because of that. SV

There are some companies out there that make e-hookah juice. When I first started out vaping (not too long ago), I was on a search for e-juice that I could buy locally, so I would stop by local smoke shops. One that I found was a hookah shop, I went in and they had some electronic hookah's and e-hookah juice along with some stick batteries (like the ego-C you tried). I bought a couple small bottles to try. The flavor was very bold and rich, and pretty darn smooth if you ask me. To be honest it was a bit too much for me, so I would mix that juice with some tobacco flavors to cut it a bit. The name on the bottle was Blak e-hookah juice. But I tried to google them and did not find a match. I think it is a small company just getting started. So yes, they do make some out there, but it may be hard to find. As a side note, I went back and tried the flavor again after about a month of not vaping it at all, way too flowery tasting for me. HTH's

This is a great thread!!! I ordered some Kanthal wire 28g yesterday with my battery and charger order. I can't wait to give rebuilding a try. What do you guys suggest trying on first. KPT2 or a Trident RBA? I bought the Trident at a B&M and so far I am not impressed with the stock coils and the silica wick. This thread is making me want to try cotton as a wick. Now I just need to wait for the vape mail. LOL. Thanks to all that contributed to this great thread!! SV

Maybe its a wife thing... I catch all kinds of guilt trips (mostly if I buy anything for vaping, and I mean ANYTHING). I can show my wife all day how much I have saved not smoking analogs verses what I have spent on vaping, and she will still say that I should not be spending anything. LOL. I know she really does not want me to go back to smoking, and I can see that it could be annoying with me buying new stuff (she is a very light social smoker, like 5 analogs in 6 months). She does not have a smoking habit that would make her go out and buy a pack everyday, so she does not understand. I would have to spend that money anyways, so I don't feel guilty if I am spending less on vaping and saving my health in the process. Note: My wife rocks!!! (just in case she reads this, lol)

Well I feel better knowing that Vision is a big brand. It is also very nice having a standard in threading. Heck sometimes some of he clones make a great product and then becomes a desired brand.

It seems as though clones or knockoffs are super common in the vaping world. My first starter kit I ordered was supposed to be eGo Twists, but I was shipped out Vision Spinners ( I know not that big of a deal, but I just read on this forum last week that eGo battery's are better than Vision). So, now I feel a bit ripped off. If a vendor represents a product as a knockoff or clone, I am completely fine with that. Representing it as the real McCoy and selling for full price is not only, not cool, but should be illegal. But so far it seems like this industry is kind of like the Wild West. Anything goes.

The unit came in today. So far I really like it. The battery charger that came with the kit is complete garbage. I ordered a HH .357 drip atomizer to try my hand dripping. I would like to try to get I to a nice RBA and RDA and get into building some coils. I like the idea of a dual coil and dripping. Me and a couple of buddies jut bought a bunch if DIY juice supplies and we want to be able to taste the new juices quickly.

Received in my Kamry K100 Mechanical mod from 101vapes. So far pretty impressed. The carto's that came with are so so. KPT2's work well. I think that I need to get a decent RBA or RDA and try my hand at building a coil or two. The kit came with battery's and a charger. The charger looks like it cost 50 cents. The batteries seem okay. I plan on getting a decent charge ASAP and maybe a set of Batt's (fully open to suggestions on this). So far I like the mod.

I am stuck on some new juice bought from a local maker... Boosted Vapes... Johnny 555 (a 555 tobacco flavor) Mixed with a little Sweet Tart flavor. Both 50/50 mix 18mg. BUT... I am all out of the sweet tart. Me and a couple of buddies bought a whole bunch of DIY juice making supplies (I received some great advice and help from Member- Compenstine, Thanks again Buddy!!!), SO I don't want to run out and buy more. LOL Its pretty good so I may, I am going to try not to though. I find I like to mix some fruit/drink/dessert flavor's with a tobacco flavor. But not too heavy on the extra flavor to the tobacco, maybe 90/10. Anyone else mix a couple of their juices together to get one they like??
