I can't imagine trying to use anything higher than 5 or 6 mg niq in a dripper, I loaded my rda with some 18 one time by mistake and thought I was gonna pass out and it was harsh as all get out , I typically mix my own at 3mg anymore

Well I got my black Brass Monkey RDA in the mail today and the 2 drip tips I ordered, here's a couple pics on the black Panzer These drip tips from FT are pretty sweet, and only a couple bucks a piece, only took 2 weeks to get them

These videos by Phil are just amazing. The attention to detail that goes into making a Provari is astounding. Kudos to them for going American made where they can. My 2 Provari's are worth every penny to me.

I don't have a mvp but I would think you would be ok with. 1.2-1.8 coil build, probably not going to give you the effect that a mech mod will but should get you an idea of what it's like, I've got a Vamo v5 and sometimes build a 1.5 coil and drip with it , when I don't want to carry more than one mod I'll just carry a couple tanks and extra battery and do that

Rcam1977 reacted to Myvaporsavior in Sub Ohming has gotten ridiculous.
Cloud Chasers are scaring me more and more these days. I get sub ohms vaping, I like it as well which is why I normally vape my Kayfun at around 0.7 and my RDA at 0.5. I get that it would be prudent not to sub ohm entirely if I want to be cautious.
Lately however, i'm seeing more and more pictures of people building quad and octacoils on their RDA's that go below 0.1 ohms and that's absolutely bonkers to me. Yes, in almost all cases, the build out resistance are below the amp cap on the battery they are using, but that doesn't make it any less dangerous.
When we are talking about Lithium Ion batteries, we are talking about something very, very dangerous when used improperly, only an inch away from your face and eyes. The new generation of vapers have a lot more knowledge at their fingertips than the tenured vapers had, and that's great. That's one of the reasons why we see someone who has only vaped 2-3 months evolve into building their own coils on a mech mod so quickly, that knowledge they can find via the internet is at their disposal.
Heres the issue though, vapers are seeing the amp cap on the specs of their batteries and thinking "Okay, well it's a 30 amp maximum, if i stay just below that or at that amp it should work just fine" and that's ludicrous. My car's speedometer on my sentra says 130MPH, Scientific evidence shows you can likely survive in the desert without food for up to 7 days as long as you are hydrated with enough water. Does that mean I should drive 130 in my compact car? does that mean you should walk around without eating for 7 days?
You are pushing those batteries too hard, too consistently. Yes, the amp cap is 30 or 35. But they were never meant to go that high for that long of a period of time. Nor was my car meant to drive that fast, nor was your body meant to be put through that much torture.
Batteries are going to fail, it happens in any device you use whether it's your laptop battery or your smartphone batteries, they fail some times. The difference in this circumstance however is you are seeing this new type of vaper push these batteries so hard consistently for as long as they will keep on charging at these ridiculously low ohms, and for what? so you can post another 10 second clip on Facebook or YouTube making a cloud?
I like blowing clouds every now and again as well, but when you get down beyond 0.1, you've lost your marbles if you think there isn't a chance you are going to force that battery to vent, especially with these long *** drags i'm seeing these cloud chasers take.

Before you make a sub ohm coil, always ask yourself if the clouds you are about to try and make with it are worth the mod you could destroy if that battery goes thermal, or worse your safety and health. Is that 0.08 coil worth needing possible skin grafts in the future?
Let me know what you think about these ridiculously low sub ohms we're seeing in the comment section below.

I like to sub ohm as much as the next guy, but I never really go below .2ohms and I alway make sure I have batteries that can handle it( mostly Sony vtc4,5,& 6). I wish everyone would be more carful while sub omhing. Not only could u get hurt but u could also shine a bad light on vaping all together. Think about what your doing, and ask yourself if it's really worth the risk. A .2-.3 ohm coil r just as good as a .08 ohm build and u don't have to worry about getting shrapnel in the face.

I prefer the Genny (genesis) style RBAs. The kayfun-taifuns are whats called underpressure attomizers.
The genesis styles are basically an RDA with the tank underneath. This gives you a larger deck to build on and the added ease of enlarging your airholes. If you've been on high airflow rdas for a while, the kayfun styles will feel like a step back.
That being said, you can enlarge the airflow of the kayfun styles, but not to the extent that you can with the genesis ones.
On the gennys, you usually have 3 holes in the deck bottom. There may be 2 screws in 2 of them. You can run single or dual vertical coils. 1 of the holes with the screw is for adding juice to the tank.
Some use various types of wicking material such as stainless steel cable(rope), wire mesh, silica/ekowool, while others prefer a simple wick of cotton.
    Hope this helps CAL

Watch as many videos as you can on YouTube on coil building as you can find, and battery safety also, mech mods are alot of fun but can be very dangerous, and always check the ohms before using your coils, get a ohm checker of you don't already have one

I got a Davide BDC, it uses the same coils as the Nautilus or you can still use the KPT coils in it, It works pretty good, its the same size as the pro tank so it fits into the sleeve on the VTR and its a about a 14 inch taller which makes it look better than the pro tanks IMO.

I did very little camping growing up and no back country camping until a year ago, and I'm 36, so its never to late to start. I decided a little over a year ago I wanted to try and do some hiking to loose some weight and to get out into the woods and one thing lead to another, I stumbled onto a video on YouTube Shug hiking the SHT and hammock camping and then learned about hammock forums and the rest is history, if anybody is curious about hammocks www.hammockforums.net is an amazing forum, reminds me of VT, everybody is very helpful friendly to the noobs. And have made some of the best friends of my life by venturing into the woods with a bunch of total strangers.

Well I just got back from my first outing for the year, I belong to a forum called www.hammockforums.com and this past weekend was are annual Hoosier hang, we had a great time, it was a fairly easy 1.5-2 mile hike into the valley and there were between 25-35 people that attended, and even a couple tent campers as well, the majority of us are hammock campers. The event was held on the north edge of the Hoosier National Forrest in the Charles Deam Wilderness area and people came from as far north as Jackson Michigan and as far south as Louisville KY, there at least one person from Ohio and I think somebody from Illinois as well, well anyway was just curious if there were any rustic campers here as well, I love the outdoors, its like meditation for the soul for me.

I've seen this thread a few time but just finally decided to check it out, pretty interesting, as a dispatcher myself and coming from a family of truck drivers. Hope you get home soon and get to spend some time with your wife, my wife and I work opposite shifts and I sometimes feel like a OTR, since the only time we see each other is on Saturdays and Sundays, I even feel bad at times for taking time away from her and making time for my hobbies but she's very understanding and I encourage her to go an do things with her friends as well.

Start small, make small batches 3-5ml. When you first mix it up let it rest for at lest 24hrs before testing. Remember it is fresh and you should let it steep for a at least 3 days. Keep it simple single flavors to start with. Once you have that down then use those to mix more complicated flavors.

Got my batteries in the mail today, nice shipping and handling time, gotta love a prompt shipment, I've been dealing with FT so much because their prices are so hard to beat on clones and RDA's I just can't afford the real ones or the prices at my local B&M, that being said thanks for the great deal and the quick shipment
