  1. I don't think 101vape even sells coils anymore. But some of these sites may be because they don't get the product directly from Kanger, and maybe from wholesalers?
  2. Oh, I forgot the boxes on my other shelves, but those two boxes are only every three days. MS, epilepsy, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, high cholesterol, GERD, and a few other things makes for....well, you get my drift.
  3. Mine are much the same. Two rows in my desk cabinet, plus four bottles sitting ON my desk.
  4. OMG, someone else who gets the lip gunk on the drip tip! My husband can't understand how it happens, but it just DOES. It hasn't happened since I started using a delrin tip, though, even my lipstick didn't show up on it. I can't stand the tip from the Crown 2, either. Just can't believe someone would put a metal drip tip on something that would run so hot (TC). And the shortness of it, and the delrin tips that came with my iSub, that's something I can't stand, either. I need a little more length on it.
  5. I was gonna say, you just showed us all your meds, and your real name, too (on one of the bottles). My dad has early COPD - hasn't stopped him from smoking, sad to say. He has diabetes, too.
  6. I don't THINK it's a wicking issue. Right now, I'm using .25 SS in wattage mode at around 32 watts. As long as I don't chain vape (which I do when I use my SVD), it doesn't get too hot that way. But that goes out the window if I switch to TC, even with the lowest temperature setting. That's when I burned the inside of my lip (it blistered up) at just, I think, 320 degrees - but even without trying to chain vape it, any hit off of it was too hot. I don't remember the other tank I used from my husband (I can't remember what it was, whether it was the Herakles or a different one) I don't recall getting hot lips from hitting it. Then again, I can't remember clearly, it's been so long. But that mod was set at over 400 degrees. Thanks for any insight.
  7. The only time I've ever replaced batteries is when they start petering out. But if the wrapping starts getting loose, you'll want to replace them then, also.
  8. I'm not entirely sold on my Crown 2 yet. I go back and forth. I swear, it's hotter than my other tanks, even on a lower wattage or temperature setting, and I get burned even with a delrin tip on the lowest tc setting. And the leaking issue never really resolved. Sometimes it's just tipping it more than 40 degrees, sometimes it's more, but I'm tired of having juice on my hand, and on my mod. I'm just not sure yet. How are the wood tips working out for you? Do they get hot like other tips? My SVD is my backup for when the Cool Fire is charging. Won't get rid of it until it doesn't work anymore. I love it.
  9. I've never gotten a fully charged battery or device. Some are mostly charged, and just need topped off. But say the portable charger for my phone/other micro USB devices had no charge whatsoever. They may tightening regulations on the conditions that lithium ion batteries can be shipped.
  10. I like the ming tips now - I didn't for a long time - but they fit the shape right (and before, I was just used to the much smaller protank/davide drip tips) and I really like them now.
  11. @Foofightervapegirl Is the flavor from the .8 ohm kanthal coils better than it is with the .25? So far, other than the leaking, my biggest disappointment (other than the incredible heat transfer, which I think is just this tank, because my iSub I can crank the wattage up farther without it being hot) is the flavor drop off rather quickly - like a week, two at the outside - of the flavor in the coils that I've tried so far (.25 and .5; .25 has performed better). Tina
  12. I did that with the Herakles I was borrowing from my husband. Burnt the coil. Blech.
  13. Okay, yeah, backwash is what we called it, too. So do you just do a search for drip tips? I hate navigating Fast Tech's website, you always get a million hits for searches.
  14. Gosh, I would love those, I get spit back when my Crown 2 is full. Can you get them anywhere in the states, and do they have delrin tips that aren't the wide mouth tips? Thanks. @FXRich Just to be clear - is spitback what you get when juice comes out of the drip tip sometimes, or are you talking about saliva getting into the juice? Like with a soda? Thanks again. @Foofightervapegirl The VT store doesn't carry the .8 kanthal coils, either.
  15. I started vaping, and within a year, my dad's primary doc and diabetes doc both told him to switch to vaping - both for his lung health, which isn't great (he has "early emphysema", but supposedly good lung function for someone with that (what does that even mean?)) and for his diabetes. He tried it.....for a couple of days. Then went straight back to his marlboro reds. Luckily, except in winter, or when he's sick, mom makes him smoke outside. THAT doesn't even deter him.
  16. I'm the same way - I'd rather see them vape than smoke, but it's easier to get cigarettes underage than it is to get vape stuff, lol. His friend doesn't work at the shop anymore, anyway. Not sure how he's getting his juice since August 8th. I guess others are getting it for him. He doesn't turn 18 for two months.
  17. My niece's boyfriend vapes, and he's only 17. At first I started to say something back in April or May when I found out about it, but I started smoking at 15. Now, as a parent I feel one way about it, as a vaper I feel another way about it (like minors who are smoking or vaping are why the smoking age is going up around here, and if minors weren't vaping, we might not have the FDA coming down on us so hard), and as a former smoker, who started as a minor, I feel yet another way about it. I know how he used to get his stuff - a friend of his worked at the B&M we use, so the friend would score him stuff. So what is everyone's thoughts regarding this?
  18. Well, they had to be compliant by August 8. Most of the online stores I've visited name their third party company.
  19. Some stores signed up with a service that uses information gathered from what you provide during the transaction and that verifies that you are over 18 in those cases (sometimes they are unable to do it that way). Some sites signed up with the service that uses the last 4 from the SSN and other available data to verify. Our B&M store uses a different system (but those who are under 27 have to send a selfie with their DL next to their face?) but over that age, you aren't supposed to have to do that, but it's been glitching and requiring everyone to. Needless to say, we haven't been using the website, and it's a PITA having to run out to the store every time we need something from them. Hopefully, the third party will get their act together soon, or the store will sign up with a different 3rd party. When I ordered my stuff from My Vapor Store, it was an automatic age verification - I didn't have to enter any info other than, I THINK, my DOB.
  20. It's not exactly VAPE mail, but with three output ports, this will be helpful for my mod and my cell phone, I just got a 10,000 mah external battery charger (the thing is a monster). So if I take enough cords with me when I go to my mom's when my SO and son are working on the brush pile over there, I don't have to worry about running out of power for my mod, my phone, or my tablet, lol. It ouputs 1000 mah from each ouput port, but the thing is MONSTROUSLY large. Sort of like a brick. The goal was one for my phone, but my SO went overboard on Amazon. Maybe he wanted to donate that much more money to the National MS Association through Amazon Smile, lol. Speaking of which, @Christopher, it would mean the world to me if you would carry the .25 ohm Uwell Crown 2 coils - right now you only carry the .5. I've experienced better flavor, and the reviews I've read, with the .25 coils than with the .5 coils. When you get them, you get one of each, and I liked the .25's so much that my next order for coils was .25. Plus, the good flavor lasts longer with the .25's, rather than the steep drop off you get with the .5's, obviously from another site where I paid more for them. And I can't remember if you were out of Herekles + SS or if you don't carry them. Okay, that's my request for the day
  21. Patricia, I've found that even using 1.8 ohm coils can give you clouds as long as you are lung hitting instead of mouth to lung. Even when I went sub ohm, I wasn't getting clouds, until I figured out direct lung hitting, and then I started making them. It's cooler, too, but not by much. I don't do it all the time, though, because a lot of clouds (with my SO making clouds) reminds me of smokey room, which we got away from three years ago.
  22. No matter who you live with, or rent from, if the rules are no vaping (what are you going to do in apartment building where it's banned because some state laws say treat it the same as cigarettes?) then don't do it. AT ALL. You don't want to burn your bridges with your mom. It could be that she's found the vapor sets something off in her lungs or nose (in some juices, it does my MIL, just like perfumes) or she doesn't like the smell, or even a knee jerk reaction. Did you find out WHY she banned vaping in the house? You may want to do that. Speaking as someone who lived with her in-laws for two years ages ago, and had abide by their rules on everything (at the time, we smoked, and that DEFINITELY was not done in the house with an asthmatic).
  23. Just a note. Hot vs. warm is very subjective. What I consider hot and burning my lips or mouth others may have a way to deal with it, or a different technique that deals with it. But it doesn't even have to burn my lips - when I experimented with dual coils a couple of years ago, very quickly the vape got so "hot" that all I could taste was the heat, and not the vape itself. At least that's my experience with TC right now.
