I bought a Vamo at one point but prefer Ego style batteries specifically Vision Spinners so I sold my Vamo and all my batteries and charger to a member here. I think some people feel like they "have to" move up but I am cool right where I am. The combination of tank and battery I use with my VG heavy liquid I use produces enough (borderline too much) vapor and all I use are single coils as well.

Use what works for you and do not feel like you have to do anything. Remember for some it is a hobby and for others (like me) it is about never smoking another analog. Neither is right or wrong just up to each individual. I will never use anything that requires rebuilding and to be honest for me the only thing I missed from my Vamo was knowing how much battery life I have left and the Spinner 2s fixed that issue without having to carry a light saber in my pocket lol.

Since any tobacco smoke has entered my body!

Personally I think Vapers Tongue is sort of mythical a lot like I believe steeping to be. I mean, people say you have to rotate flavors but my wife has vaped one flavor for almost the entire time she has vaped and other than the first couple months so have I. We both quit cigarettes and started vaping the same day, 4-23-2013. For over a year I have vaped Endless Summer from Fuzion 18mg and she has vaped Peppermint from ECBlends in 24mg since her 3rd or 4th week in. Both taste the same from then till now.

I notice you are about 2 months in or a little over. I have a theory that "Vapers Tongue" is simply your taste-buds growing back and functioning correctly so you are actually tasting what you are vaping. There are literally dozens of foods I loved when I smoked that I cannot stand now and even more that I couldn't stand before that I like now. The transformation of smell and taste is so huge it is staggering. I LOVED some flavors when I started that I cannot even stand the smell of now but have vaped the same thing for at least a year if not a little over that with no change in taste or satisfaction.

With that said, it took a couple months for me to find the flavor that my new and improved taste-buds liked. Once I did it made all the difference in the world.

Just my 2 cents.

I love paying it forward to those in this forum. Without all the great people here helping me at first I have no doubt I would have failed in my attempt to kick the analogs. The other "big" forum is filled with trolls and people there seem to want to get a laugh instead of helping noobs out. I feel a debt of my life to those that helped.....you know who you are!

Nope now that I know what I smelled like I know I will never smoke tobacco again. Maybe I was just ready to quit but after a month or so the thought of an analog is not appealing at all.

After almost two years the thought of quitting vaping has already started to creep into my head. It's nothjng like smoking for me especially in the way I feel like I have to have it. With cigarettes going just an hour was a nightmare but now that I vape I can regularly go 4-5 hours without a pull and not have an issue. I killed my last battery Sunday on the lake after a long weekend before noon and got home about 7 and it was amazingly not anywhere near the same. It was my first time I was "without" and if it was when I smoked I would have 100% left early after rationing what I had left.

This is the first time in my life I have owned two new vehicles that have never been smoked in. Beyond the time without an analog this is a huge milestone for me personally.

Never used an Emow but used Evods before and they were ok but never liked them as good as the Spinners. I have 6 Spinner 2s in rotation and my wife has another 6 totaling 12 and the only issue we have had was she dropped one into about 40' of water at the lake. It is gone forever.

In general though Kanger and Vision are the two names I trust more than any other in Vapeland.

Depends on how you define "cloud" really. I can fog up my man cave or my office with just a pull or two off a Davide Mini @ 1.8ohms (single coil)at 3.8v on my Spinner 2. It's sort of about the liquid too mine is roughly 75% VG and the rest are flavorings no PG added.

I'm not gonna win any cloud competition with a RDA Subohmer but I don't want to lol. My setup and liquid does blow away all my friends setups but the main difference is the liquid.

If there is one thing that will give the anti-vaping lobby the power they need for widespread bans and legislation it is a Mech mod blowing up because someone didnt know how to properly and safely do it.

Not downing cloud chasers, just saying it has been on my mind a long time. If we as a community put as much emphasis on safety with mechanical mods there is bound to be an inherent risk associated with the activity. Imagine how the non-vaping community will react when and if a hand grenade explodes in someones face?

To each their own. It's not for me, I'm a tank guy and that will never change. I haven't heard of a battery explosion or anything but can see why one would be concerned given the "pushing it to the limits" approach many take especially those not experienced nor equipped to do so.

Exactly this. I was able to say "I am done, no more cigarettes" from the first vape I took. It wasnt super easy but I was extremely motivated. My wife on the other hand still kept a pack in her purse for one here and there if she needed it. She was not as motivated as I was and honestly her primary motivation was that I was doing it and she felt like she sort of had to even though I never put that type of condition on it. Within a month she also couldn't stand the taste or smell of a cigarette.

Thing is it takes the right equipment and liquid-nic strength. That is probably one of my bigger pet peeves with the advice I hear about where to start. Most of my friends that started vaping and have been successful with it, those I have helped, all started with 24mg liquid no matter if they were a light smoker or a heavy smoker. That's where I advise everyone to start if you are trying to kick the stinkies. There are far more things in cigarettes that are addicitive besides nicotine and your body will crave those plus you have to deal with the toxins that are leaving your body. For a few weeks you might be more prone to acne, headaches, gastrointestinal problems and your tastebuds will be all over the place. A good dose of nicotine can help you cope with your bodys withdrawal to all the carcinogens and addictive chemicals (those that kill you) as they leave your body.

There are 4 within a 3 mile radius of my business but I have only been in one once to try their flavors but with the online relationships I have built with the VT Store and my other couple preferred vendors I see no reason to go sort through knockoffs marked up 400% or more.

At the risk of being in violation of the sites T&C they also say marijuana is a gateway drug when I know many many people that are in their 40s and 50s that have used cannabis since their teenage years and never touched anything else.

Nothing can make someone do something else except free will. That's it, and any attempt to claim otherwise is just sheer ignorance.

I am a huge fan of Fuzion Vapors it is all I vape. Not sure about organic but that's something that rarely enters my mind for consideration. All those Tam listed are good and I have used them all I just prefer Fuzion but my wife prefers ECBlends.

I would second what Tam said about maybe trying liquids that have no nicotine. I always hate to see anyone, especially someone prone to addiction, add another addicition to the list. If its just the sensation then 0 nic liquids taste a lot better and the flavor is not as tainted. I only say this out of caring and if you are concerned about "organic" or "natural" or whatever then I would definitely be worried about adding a nicotine addiction. Just my 2 cents.

After all the different flavors I've had from Fadora, I have yet to get anything I didn't like. Some suited my palate better than others but all were very good!

EC Blends lets you customize the juice in all kinds of ways like Fadora. These two places have my customer loyalty as far as where I shop. Extremely good customer service and great product.

Right on motorcycles are great on gas. I grew up a motorcycle fanatic but somewhere in my 20s I lost interest and now every penny of recreational vehicles for me goes into boating. That plus I used to not be afraid to get hurt and now I am not so much because of the pain but more the monetary loss that would accompany a serious injury. Its why I no longer jump off cliffs and wakeboard haha. Well that and being 44 and at this point sitting on the boat listening to Led Zeppelin Box Set on shuffle while drinking good bourbon sounds way better haha.
