  1. Yeah Bebop. I also notice that the difference between the Kanthal vs the ni200 builds. I also feel that the kanthal tastes better, however I'm not sure if its just because that's all I've ever vaped before. Just doesn't feel like it hits as hard as the kanthal. More experiments will be coming up with pics of ni200 builds. You are gonna have so much fun with the Zephyrus tank. I can't wait to hear your opinion.
  2. Sry to hear about your leaking issue. To date I've had no leaking what so ever, even with the stock coil., but dang that flavor is spot on eh?
  3. I'm just new myself to temp control so I'm not sure if I can offer any solid advise yet. I have found that my sweet spot for ohm is around .15. When it's .15 I usually set me temp control between 490-530 degrees. I get a very consistent and satisfying vape with these settings without my DNA40 board hitting temp control. I try to have settings that allow me to vape similar to a kanthal build. If it hits temp control I know the board is doing its job, but the drop offs due to temp control does not provide a fulfilling vape. As far as tanks are concerned I have tried the original Lemo, and the Kanger subtank mini. I get better flavor with the Lemo but I personally find it more difficult to build on compared to the subtank. The subtank is very good though and I have probably vaped more with it than with the Lemo due to me finding it more difficult to build (it's not that difficult but the subtank is super easy to build on). Now that I have arrived back at work and have more time on my hands to experiment, I will try a Ni200 build on my new Zephyrus rta. Like you though I am very pleased with temp control so far. I like the idea of not scorching my wick or getting any dry hits. It's a great experience. I have found that my coils have been gunking up a bit more with my juice as its a heavy VG desert flavor. I haven't done any dry burns on the ni200 wire as I've heard its not very safe, so if my coils get really gunked up I just put in a new rebuild. Usually every 3-6 days depending on how hard I have been vaping. I tend to destroy coils. I am interested to hear what other members experiences are as well.
  4. I love the fact that it has a top fill and it actually works great. I've had no leaks from filling. The deck is really easy to build on, however the tank is a juice gobbler.
  5. I think the Billow 2 has a longer chimney neck. Reviews of RTA's have shown that the shorter the chimney neck the better the flavor (of course taste is always subjective).
  6. It is totally awesome. And the extra's that come with it are great. I'm glad they opted to add a replacement pyrex tank rather than add in an extra coil.
  7. I put in a 26ga (forget how many wraps, I think 7 wraps each) but it ohm'd out at .42 ohms. Great flavor.
  8. For the last week I have been using the new sub ohm tank the Zephyrus by UD. I can honestly say I think I have found my new favorite. For any of you who know me or have read any of my posts, you will know that I am a huge single coil RTA fan. From the Russian 91% to the Lemo and the Kanger sub ohm tank (rebuild deck). I love me some single coil RTA's. This new Zephyrus sub ohm tank comes with a killer rba base. I has 4 huge 3mm air holes on the deck itself. Now it is a dual coil setup which I usually do not prefer, however this base is large enough (larger than the Orchid V4 base) and is very easy to build on. That all said I love the flavor. I find the flavor on this RTA (obviously using the rebuild deck) much better than all of my other RTA's. I'm not a huge cloud chaser but this thing really puts out the vapor. The .3 ohm head that came with the package was nice as well, but this tank shines with its rebuildable section. Plus its pretty cheap $25-$35 depending where you buy it. I encourage all RTA fans out there to give this tank a shot. I do not think that you will be disappointed. http://vapenw.com/zephyrus-sub-ohm-tank-by-youde
  9. Rebuilds will always remain in hot demand.....at least for me
  10. For those who have not tried or for those who love Nicoticket e-juice they are having a 50% site wide sale for memorial day. Huge score for me. Stocked up on some Strawnilla. http://www.nicoticket.com/ If anyone else finds great Memorial day/week deals please share.
  11. I hope you get more soon. I have not run out yet but I have been running low a couple times when I was at work in Iraq and had to ration my juice. I think that's primarily why I tend to stick to single coil rta's as those double coils just evaporate my juice too quickly.
  12. Its gotta be larger and perhaps a tad bit easier to build on as it has two 3mm airholes on each side of the deck as opposed to just one on the Goblin, making it at least 3mm wider in diameter. I agree with you in wishing this was a single coil setup. Did you see those juice channels? Holy mother of all juice channels. Talk about using every mm on the deck.
  13. Youde UD Zephyrus Sub-Ohm Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (looks like a good one-hope it vapes as good also). http://www.myvaporstore.com/Youde-UD-Zephyrus-Sub-Ohm-RTA-p/yd-zep.htm
  14. I think I may pull out my Magma RDA sometime soon. I haven't touched that thing since I decided that I'm an RTA guy almost a year ago, but I do remember that the Magma had awesome flavor.
  15. Now my 91% is not my go to device due to its limited airflow, but as with you Bebop and your 15 min session a half a tank did me extremely well.
  16. I had lots of time today and was tidying up some of my vape supplies and ran across an old friend. His name is Russian 91%. I dusted him off, washed him thoroughly and threw in a 26ga 8 warp .8ohm coil, added some raspberry and cream ejuice and I'm in vaping nirvana. Wow! This brings back so much memories. Of course over the past year my building has gotten much better as well as my wicking which leads to such a great and satisfying vape. No huge clouds here just full on flavor. When has been the last time you have dusted off your shelf, found a trusty old friend and had a satisfying vape reminiscing the days past? If you haven't you might be in for a pleasant surprise. Have a great Friday everyone. DG
  17. ^^^Hahahaha good one. I just take off my top cap while holding down the glass tank firmly and dump as much out in a spare bottle.
  18. Just ordered a Kanger subtank mini, 8 Samsung INR 18650-25r's (for my Flaskman vapor flask), one pack of subtank mini nickel occ coils, and tempered ni200 (29ga, 28ga, 26ga) from the UK (couldn't find tempered, anywhere in the US at the time).
  19. Great article. I totally agree with you Earthling. I also despise going into my local vape store. Its always so foggy and I find it slightly sickening to my stomach. Add to the fact that the owners/workers make me feel like I'm an outsider not a part of their special club, it might not be true but its the way they present themselves and make me feel. I'll just stick to buying online.
  20. Welcome to VT. You came to the right place. We all look forward to helping you out any way that we can. Happy vaping journey.
  21. Sorry to hear about your bad luck. It totally sucks but its better the mod getting destroyed than your leg. I hope your setup didn't cost you too much.
  22. I vape in the house. I ask permission if in bars or restaurants. I vape in front of my son on occasion but do try to keep some distance between us when I do. I do vape in my car but with the window rolled a bit down to siphon the vapor out. If studies come out that say second hand vapor is dangerous I will cease immediately.
