I am starting something new on the forum.



It's called the Mystery Box

THE RULES
(They can always be ammended if you guys don't like um)

The Rules:
1 - It's all in good clean fun, so please keep it that way.
2 - So long as it fits, you may add as much as you like to the box, but if you take from the box, please put something (of similar value) back in for the next person. (Example: If you take a 30ml bottle of juice, don't replace it with a pipette. That's not fair.)
3 - If sending a used item, clean it up a little first. And no one wants junk -- so don't send that.
4 - All contents must remain Vaping or Mod related and work/family safe, no objectionable material please, some may open it infront of their kids.
5 - Once you receive the box, you have 3-5 days to swap or add with/to the box until you should send it on to the next person or if you are last on the list, back to the first person on the list (this should account for weekend deliveries).
6 - You must have a 100 post count to be added to the Mystery Box list.
*Upon receiving the box, you should contact the next person on the list to get their info so that you can send it out if they don't respond with 48hrs they get skipped and the box moves to the next person.
7-No more than 1 bottle per person, must be individually bagged, can't be bigger than 30ml...we have been having a lot of excess eliquid in the box and it is way to much.so I added the new rule above.

The Fine Print:
If you agree to get in on this, you're agreeing that you a) will play fairly and abide by the posted rules; have the funds to ship the box on to the next person (approx $10); and c) will have a good time.

Obviously, there's a small amount of risk to joining this little funfest as there may be nothing in the box that you want to keep . Hopefully though, this will be a lot of fun for everyone as you'll get to peruse the contents of the box however. All that said, play at your own risk...

vaping isn't so much addictive in the actual nicotine sense, it's more the shopping and collecting addiction lol

If a charger is working properly it will cease charging when the batt is completely charged. I leave mine on overnight and during the day. I'm beginning to rethink my practices. My wife did have a charger melt while it was plugged into her laptop but luckily we were in the room when it happened and were able to quickly unplug it.

Hey there Alexander here, I am curious if anyone else has oredered the Provari Mini? I just ordered it last night with the blue LED upgrade.. I am very VERY excited about getting this MOD.. there sight says 10-15 days before shipping.. Does anyone know if it takes that long or how long did yours take if you got one.. they just came out March 15th and they look SWEET.. I plan on doing a review of it and so on.. Any other Provari owners out there? Thanks!

I would never spend that kind of money on that mod.. skip that sight all together! Get a Provari for that price! they are trying to sell you on 10.4v which no atty can withstand so they are selling you something that you can never use! I suggest you skip that device and go for something with quality provape.com

I respectfully disagree - have you missed the PIF discussions blu and I have been having - not to mention his PIF to me which is allowing me to PIF 2 other people? It's also shown another new member that there are inexpensive kits to try. Just knowing info like that is paying it forward because with him telling me that - another person already had learned of the kit and is very interested. I think that discussing some trades is fine - because some allow people to pass along equipment they no longer use if they can trade something they no longer need allowing them to pass their old/other equipment to someone else. Many trades/swaps lead to PIF's - they just aren't always mentioned later by the people involved.

There has been plenty of PIF talk in here even with people looking to swap. I personally don't mind, it's not a huge thread and people are (mostly) either chatting, which I don't see as an issue, PIF'ing, or asking if people would trade - again, not so much an issue. I, personally, have PIF'd in here and been the recipient of a Leo, which is allowing me to pass things along to other people, as well as finding new things I can use to help others because I don't have much, but want to help family or friends in need. Here, everyone already has or has moved past the equipment I have to PIF with, so I like getting ideas on what I can suggest to people, etc.

I guess what I'm saying is although people have looked for trades a few times (which is ok'd in the rules), and we've gone OT a couple times, the thread is OK

It seems like this is becoming a "Trade" thread, instead of what it was originally intended.

Just saying... there is a whole forum for classified listings and trade offers. I think the intention of this thread is for people to give things away without expecting things in return...

Oh poodle poo! I just typed out this great long post, lol - so here are the highlights:

1. Love love love the Leo and that ALL of them are passthrough - amazing!
2. Also love that the batts are amazing and only like $2 more than 510 batts!
3. Can't wait to try the attie & carts
4. Getting 3 LR cartos from E-Cig-Arsenal for 3.75 each
5. I love E-Cig-Arsenal because the lady who runs the shop is super nice and sent me a free carto with my charger!

About the brother:

I'm going to have him try the mistic - I was originally going to send that off to the friend in Cali, but I should send her my pink joye510 stuff.
If he likes the mistic, I'm going to show him where to get the stuff that fits it (although a little awkwardly) so he can get carts or cartos and not be stuck buying their stuff.
I think my brother would die if he had to go out in public with the 510, but I'll have him try that too.
I also considered getting him a Q kit - some people say they're awesome to start with cause they're $10 or under.

I'm highly open to suggestions if that isn't the one - we don't have much (Colin - cause I'm tired of typing other half, lol) and I live on $700/month but we'll find a way to get him set up because he deserves it and he definitely doesn't have the extra money around either - but we want to help him - if that makes sense? We're lucky to have amazing parents who wanted us to move closer to home so they got us each small houses and they pay the utilities for us until I finally get disablilty (OT but explains some of our situation without going on and on, lol!)

I wish he WOULD join the forum, but he's got severe dyslexia - 2nd grade reading/writing level - *170* or higher IQ - (I remember when he was tested.) and I think he'd get frustrated here trying to keep up or even short messages - but I'll ask him. He gets embarrassed because he writes the way he does and people think he's just to lazy to spell things or use proper grammar. I don't know how he functions sometimes - that amazing brain trapped in there

In the vapor rooms defense, If the nic was too high, you would be able to tell with more harsh throat hitt, and in addition to head aches, if you vaped to much of the high nic, you would get chest pains too.

I know my wife gets head aches with any PG. She must use 100% VG dilluted with distilled water.

I would absolutely love a Mini, though... Can't really take my ProVari out in public.. especially not with an emdcc attached. It looks, at the very least.. lethal. Ha.

This is actually quite a good point and one of the reasons the manufactures recommends that you only use your cartomizer for 1-2 days. It's the same reason why I don't suggest people continually wash and reuse their cartomizers. While there is no current research available the bottom line is, cartomizers are designed to be used short term and not long term.

As for storing cartomizers I think most people use them on a day to day basis. But I do agree storing liquid in a cartomizer over a long period of time is not recommended.

I have some extra liquids if you are interested.....PM me with what type of flavors and I can see what I have....I'll warn you, don't have any tobacco flavors.

@Daisy....Personally I love dripping. The best way to figure out your sweet spot is to try various methods. I still like trying new stuff, but I always come back to dripping.

The only way you can tell really is by looking at the "glass" cover. I've noticed that the units that first came out early last year (I pre ordered one of the first units) Don't like LR atomizers. This isn't actually an issue with the device, it's the protection circuit kicking in. LR atomizers on high voltage is a bit risky. The Pro Vari is just doing it's job. E8 I assume is it's way of saying, take it down a notch broham.

With that said however, the newer units (summer of last year on forward) seem to have the E8 error less. Especially when using Dual Coil cartomizers for example. Why? I'm not sure. I can only imagine they changed some of the settings on the internal components.

You know, I've had my provari for almost 3 months, now... and I still don't know which kind it is. It could be the old version since it doesn't say anything but ProVari.. how can you tell?

@7sons.. I've gotten that error, as well.. From what I can tell, my Provari doesn't like very low resistance, but to be honest, it could just be operator error on my part. With low resistance, however, I just have to lower the voltage... haven't had any problems with the threading, however.. If that continues with that particular atomizer and you've replaced them.. you may want to call them and ask.. That shouldn't be happening, I don't think. I know that, sometimes, my Provari doesn't like my emdccs.. but, I just chalked that up to an emdcc problem. Hmmmm..

I haven't purchased the new mini version but I like the looks. For me I can't justify the cost for another. That and my "old" Pro Vari works so well even after almost a year and 2 months of hard labor there just isn't much reason for me to get another But, I do envy that you have the smaller version

@7sons could be the type of atomizer your using? I screw my carto's on pretty tight and I've never had an error.

I have a provari v2 not the mini, and so far its awesome I've had it for a week now
