Same here! I think the regular length dual coils work better too. Seem to get juice to the coil area better. I guess so anyway.

I have basically had above average transactions with 99.9 % of the vendors I've ordered from over the last 2 years! And, I have made it a point to order from MANY different ones that are out there, just to see what they had to offer in the way of juice/products/etc. The only time I ever had an 'issue' at all was with them as well... so I simply decided to take my business elsewhere and not make a big deal about it. I too work in a very customer oriented environment... and I have learned a hell of a lot of things in the last 10 years, the main thing was that I needed to remember to bend over backwards for every customer !! You really should make it a point to go a little above and beyond what you need to do... because, trust me, they will likely remember it and return again in the future.

We must remember... 'the customer is always right'!!

Carto tanks (J-tank, Liquinator, etc.) are a great way to vape w/o the hassle of adding juice all the time.. Once you get them figured out, and know how to fine tune one, they become a great addition. Don't get me wrong... it took me a bit to find what worked the best w/o flooding the carto or not getting any juice in them at all. Good luck in whatever you try... and just enjoy all the different choices we have!

I think you will find, as many of us have, that the craving for a real cigarette fades very quickly. Once you find your vaping 'happy place' it's a breeze from that point on. I mean really, do you honestly crave the smell/taste of a stale ashtray for cryin' out loud? For me... the flavors of the juices are so much better tasting/smelling than the real thing that it made the switch super easy and painless! We are still getting our nicotine with vaping... then throw in the wonderful juices out there and you have yourself a recipe for a huge success in quitting those nasty analogs!! I never knew how easy it would be until I found that one juice that I truly enjoyed vaping... that device that performed like I needed one too (more like multiple devices!)... after that, the thought of having an analog ceased to enter my mind.

I tried them and didn't care for them, but I agree with Dayvape - you should try them. You'll find with vaping that for just about every atty, carto, PV, juice, etc., there are some that love and some that hate each one.

EXACTLY! I finally figured out the same thing... slide the tank down to block the air inlet and give it a couple of good pulls! Fills that carto up like a champ now! What I don't get is why am I one of those that has to do this to draw in liquid? I guess some people aren't required to do this step as there cartos stay wet enough on their own. After cutting up 10 different cartos you would think one of them would work like it's supposed too! Anyway, I'm still diggin' this tank w/ the LR Boge cartos though... and now I know I can at least get liquid where it needs to be! I highly recommend this to anyone who already enjoys cartomizers... it makes life a lot easier when it comes to keeping the filler material nice and wet. Man, I sure am glad I didn't throw in the towel on this, after I sat and thought it through it now works great! I actually talked to James from Vaporescence on the phone and he couldn't figure out for the life of him why it wasn't working for me. I had done everything exactly as I was supposed to do when setting it up but it would NOT soak up any juice from the tank. And even the one they sent out with it that was already cut didn't pull in anything! Evidently others don't have any issues with it working because all I was finding and hearing was 'how great it works, etc'. Either way, I guess I'm now satisfied w/ the Liquinator, especially since I know what I need to do for it to work for me. It's certainly much easier/quicker than popping off a drip tip and 'topping off' all the time!

Thanks for the advice though kingbtheone... at least I know I'm not the only one that has to do this to 'juice up' their carto. Hell, I just assumed that the filler was supposed work as a wick and draw in the liquid in, had no idea I needed to do 'suck it in'! I searched high and low online for tips on how to use it and could only find a few videos out there. And they were all of people praising the thing... not how to make it work!

By the way, I cut my own cartos with a dremmel and it works like a champ! Oh, and it only needs two small slots on each side of the carto, ask me how I know! I finally got pissed off enough that I took one and slotted that baby to pieces... and it still didn't work.
All it really takes is two little slits that are about 1/4" long each... until you can just barely see filler. (If you use high VG juices you may need larger slots though so it can penetrate.) Then, I take a dental pick and just make sure there aren't any small bits left floating around, and make sure the filler isn't blocked off. If you aren't careful with a dremmel, and you take too long cutting the slot, you can get it too hot and it will actually 'scorch' the filler and nothing will be able to pass through. You want to make the cut as fast and clean as possible and it will be fine. I would guess a hacksaw would work as well then you wouldn't need to worry about getting it too hot since it's not nearly as high speed as a dremmel wheel. The dremmel is just a lot more fun than using a hacksaw though... so that was the route it chose.

All in all... this 'tank' is a GREAT investment IF you are a carto user/fan!

I understand... you weren't really asking if someone preferred attys over cartos.... I'm sure Jeff didn't mean for it to sound like that. (LOL) I have never used distilled water... but I personally wouldn't do it. Your best option would be to order 100% PG juices and start over. Otherwise, you will pretty much not even taste anything once you cut it enough to really work like it can/should in a carto. I use 100% all the time for that very reason... better absorption for sure! Save the VG stuff for atty use... about all it's good for now. Good luck!

You should try them... you may like them. For me... I still prefer the Boge LR's though for some reason. I think it may have something to do with the duals running a bit warmer maybe.

I agree 100%. LR carto on a huge 3.7v battery is the s&^t. I also to dual coil cartos at 6v. Although I'm a sucker for new tech stuff, a simple big battery mod is hard to beat. I have a Tekk mod and it works well, but it is a PV I only use at home because it can get broken. Silver Bullet, Megaladon, Prodigy these are mods everyone should own.

Thanks to my buddy yzrmbsg I decided to add the hookah tube to my super ego detonator because of the belt attachment on the back of the box.

Parts:
Old tube from a nebulizer with groove cut in hard plastic end to hold rubber grommet.
Old rubber grommet off of drip tip from sh!tty mega ego atomizer

Mega dual coil eGo cartomizer

The nebulizer tube end was the EXACT same diameter as the drip tip for the mega eGo atty so I figured if I mod it to hold a grommet it would plug into my new dual coil mega eGo cartos.

And it did... :-D I think this might be really really bad lol. This tube is right next to my face all the time.

DEFIANTLY get the boge cartos, i use the 2.0 LR ones religiously. should be $7-$10 a pack of 5. watch a couple vids to get the hang of filling and your set!

We all also learned very quickly (well most of us) that standard CARTS are not the best juice delivery method!

It seems that the majority of folks know what's best... LR CARTOS, FTW!

It most certainly does affect the taste! I found that, for me, anything over about 12mg and I could really taste the nic. It can be a pretty harsh taste too... depending alot on the nic that is being used. You just need to try different levels and see what works/tastes best to you. The other main thing affecting taste is the PG/VG content. PG tends to carry flavors better... and VG tends to mute them a bit.

Damn DayVape (lol) "hooked on cartos works for me" but I do also like a good 306lr from time to time.
