Have you become an avid collector my dear? You're in good company. Can't wait til my Nahual is finished!

Take your time. Once you start in, there's no going back. Except, of course, you'll keep the Clearo's for taking to the bar or anywhere you don't want to lose your precious babies. And you'll need to vape one while you're setting one up... unless of course, you have a fine collection of RBA's ready to vape while you're changing one out. Hey! I resemble that remark!

    +1

You really don't want to hear about rebuildable atomizers (RBAs)....they've ruined my life, and they'll ruin yours too!!!

Normally I follow the smoking ban, if the place is non smoking I go outside or ask to speak to the manager and ask if it's ok to vape. I haven't had one bar turn me down but have never asked in a resturant, then I usually go outside. Anywhere outdoors to me is free game unless it's a sporting event which in most cases is non smoking.

Oh, in case you were wondering:

My setup consists of mechanical mods, and rebuildable atomizers. Personally, I have found this setup to be the most cost-effective, and reliable system. For a couple hundred bucks, you can amass enough gear to last you a couple years. And, if anything goes awry, it is almost always easily repaired as the entire system is only as good as you set it up, and maintain it.

However, I absolutely DO NOT recommend this setup for beginners. It requires a good deal of research, patience, attention to detail, and some experience vaping under your belt before even THINKING of going down that road!!!

When I started, I got a basic eGo / clearomizer combo. I highly recommend this setup to start with, and I still love and use mine to this day!!!

The tricky thing about your question is knowing what you're looking for. That's something you have to answer for yourself.

Do you want a basic e-cig, eGo, or mod? Variable voltage or something straight-forward? What are you comfortable with holding in your hands, or carrying around in public?

You can ask a dozen vapers what their ultimate setup is, and you're going to receive two dozen answers. Every device has its dedicated fan base....and some of these fans can get quite zealous about their devices. I don't know how many times I see lost newbies looking for advice, only to get a hundred people screaming in favor of their preferred device with little regard to the needs of the person asking.

My best advice is to go to YouTube, and look up Pbusardo. He's a pretty big player in the Vaping community, and a trusted source of information. He put out a video at the beginning of this year called "The Beginners Guide to E-Cigarettes." My suggestion is for you to watch that, and let the information sink in.

At that point, you'll be armed with a better idea of what is out there, and what questions you should ask with regards to finding your ultimate setup.

thanks you Tameiki & Troy, and everyone, for all the advice it is really appreciated. I am trying to learn as much as I can before making my next process. Having bought so many e-cigs kits up to this point before finding this great site. - My one concern was buying from different sites and having my goodies arrive and find they don't fit together. . That would be a real bummer!! So, knowing what I am "almost" doing would be great. LOL So, to simplify things a little for myself I am going just start get a starter kit using suggestion offered here and build from there.

    thank you again guys....

Depending on if the T2 has eGo cone threading like the Kanger T3, or comes 510 native like the Stardust / CE* style clearomizers, and whether or not the mod you wish to use has eGo cone threading.

For example: I know most mechanical mods do not use eGo cone threading, and therefore require an adapter. However, the eVic (I also think the newer version Z-max, and maybe the new version of the Vamo) does use eGo cone threading, and will support most devices using that thread system.

TVR: The Vapor Room. They sell good juice and have good customer service. Just be sure to read the home page and follow the instructions on how to make your first order. They give you a 15 ml bottle of free juice for your first order and always let you choose a flavor for the sample for each order you make.

WTG CE!!! BB is my all time crave cutter. Sometimes I mix a little with Gorilla Juice.

    Speaking of Lotteries...
I WON A FULL SATIN POLDIAC in the MMVapors Lottery!!!
Yes, in a way, it's "recently purchased" because if it weren't for my past purchases, I wouldn't have had the order numbers to enter into the Lottery that won.
    Sweet!

Great analogy!!!! I'm a bit like that caterpillar, myself. Let me break this down for you. Theoretically, more VG=more vapor. However, you can get little vapor from 100% VG juice, and conversely get a ton of vapor from high % PG....all by using the right (or wrong) combination of equipment. Vapor is made by heating e-liquid, and drawing air across the heating element. Thus, more heat + more air flow = more vapor. Heat is produced by sending electrical power to a coil of resistance wire. More power does not necessarily mean more heat. 5 volts (the maximum a Spinner will put out) across a 3 ohm (standard resistance) coil will only produce around 7 watts of power. However, a fully charged Mod battery (4.2 volts) across a 0.8 ohm coil will produce over 22 watts of power!!!! This power is all for naught if you do not have the proper air flow. More power means you need a more airy draw on order to take advantage of the heat produced. What this means for you is this: If you get a standard eGo (3.5 volts) with a Low-Resistance cartomizer (1.5 ohms), and learn to properly draw off that setup, you will produce a ton of vapor in no time flat!!! Hope this wasn't too confusing for you. :p

Welcome to VaporTalk, and your new addiction!!! You'll thank us later when your wallet recovers.

Personally, I recommend keeping things simple and cost-effective. There are a myriad of devices, and Vaping styles out there. Any one variation added to the pot (ie: variable voltage, like on the aforementioned Spinner / Twist) will just add to the confusion for someone just getting into this hobby / lifestyle.

The first three things you need to know are:
    1) how to properly draw off an e-cig
    2) your nicotine strength tolerance
    3) your "go-to" flavor

Standard eGo kits can be bought cheaply enough just about anywhere. Surevapes.com sells multi-packs of cartomizers at dirt-cheap prices, so you can get boxes with different resistances to play with while on the hunt for a good juice flavor, and nicotine strength that suits you.

After mastering the art of the draw, and nailing down a cartomizer resistance, nic strength, and flavor that suits you, the sky (along with the cash in your bank account) is the limit!!!

The only animal we have that will outlive us is our African Grey parrot, and we aren't intending on breeding him. Also been wondering about the Bat-Beardie-Babies, myself....haven't seen either of them on recently. Maybe the thread resurrection will bring them out of their Bat Cave. :p
