You can't get better customer service than The Veteran Vaper. You've done your homework well.

The 1100 might be a bit on the long side if you plan to put it into a pocket, especially once you've put the Vivi Nova on it. Just sayin'. My 1100 with the Vivi Nova MINI measures out at 7.25 inches. If the regular Vivi Nova is a little taller and I don't know if it is or not, it could go about 7.5 inches. My 900 mAh Vision Spinner measures at 4.25 inches. With the Vivi Nova mini it would be around 7 inches. With the eGo 650 and the Vivi Nova mini it's 6 inches total.

Whatever you decide to get, you'll love dealing with Brian at the Veteran Vaper. I just got a package from him today. You may see some drama once I tell Jeffb that I got a handwritten note from Brian in my package though!

People on this forum are wonderful and very helpful too. All perversions (virtual and otherwise) aside. Welcome!

You are welcome 2bsmoke4ee!! Yes, they aren't full but mostly charged when you get them I think, maybe it depends. I honestly don't advise leaving the battery charging overnight. They usually only need 3 or 4 hours and could be a hazard if over-charged. Glad to hear you like the variable voltage, it's awesome being able to add more volts to fix a lame throat hit. Best of luck to you on yer vaping journey!!

Not sure what kind of clearos you're talking about but I'm sure it's good. Vision has some good stuff. I still swear by the Kanger T2 clearos also known as eGo changeable coil clearos. To me they seem to be the easiest to fill and use and to change coils when necessary. They work equally as well with my eGo batteries, VV mods and Vision spinner batteries.

Here's an update on this fundraiser. I received a reply to my email from Mt. Baker Vaper's owner, James Thompson, and he said, "Since that fundraiser was over we have been donating to other breast cancer foundations now. It is based on net profit per sale."

Bakery flavors are a nice change of pace. Pineapple upside-down cake from Sweet-Vapes is very tasty. Other good flavors are Apple Pie, Cinnamon Danish, Bavarian Cream, and a whole lot of Coffee variations just to name a few. Also, you have to keep trying different tobacco flavors from different suppliers and you might find a few more that you really like and you know you can always go back to turkish or ry4 later. A flavor might seem different to you after a long time without it and it fun to go back to one from before. I don't know about you but I can't live with just one flavor. I usually have 2 or 3 e-cigs with me at all times not only for backup but for a flavor choice. I do vape the tobacco flavors the most but I couldn't go without some of the exotic ones. Don't hesitate to try anything, you just might like it.

Personally, I believe "dry-burning" is mostly used when employing RBA SS mesh wick setups. As Tam pointed out, dry-burning a clearo is risking a burnt flavor. When I clean my clearomizer, I do the following method religiously: 1) remove, rinse, and dry the drip tip. 2) remove, rinse, and dry the tank. 3) remove the head. Remove the silicone piece. Rinse, and pat-dry the whole assembly with a paper towel. 4) rinse and dry the base. 5) re-assemble the base with the head minus the silicone piece. 6) attach the base + head to the battery / mod, and pulse-fire a few times until the internal coil and wick is dry....this takes some practice, but you'll figure it out soon enough. 7) re-assemble the clearomizer unit, and fill with your favorite liquid. 8) wait five minutes, and enjoy a vape!!! Normally, I use a paper towel, along with blowing air thorough the hollow parts to dry everything on the unit. Once you find your groove, then these steps can be accomplished in 5 minutes or less. Hope this helps!!!

In the past week, I've placed orders from:
    Johnson Creek - 5 - 5mL juice sampler in a free tin
    Mount Baker Vapor - 3 - 15mL juices
ECigsPlus - 2 Vision CE4 clearomizers, 2 Vision CE2 Nano clearomizers, 5 pk. replacement coil heads, 1 drip tip, 2 juices
ValueVapor - 1 DSE-901 LR atomizer, 3 drip tips, 2 drip shields, 2 adaptors, an eGo thread cover and an eGo Mini kit that I still swear just jumped into the cart, out of my control!

And I complain that my "$$ saved" is so much less than I'm spent so far...

Oops. No. Sorry! I got this thread confused with the direct dripping one.

These are direct dripping atomizers. Brian has the 1.8 ohm Vivi Nova coil here: http://www.theveteranvaper.com/vision-vivi-nova-long-wick-replacement-coil/

The Veteran Vaper store is excellent and the customer service is even better! Sorry about the mix up but are you sure you don't want to try direct dripping? You can actually change flavors easier this way.

Okay, let's see if I can do this right.

This first pic is (from left to right), Vision Spinner 1300 mAh with Empire Mod drip shield, universal drip tip with a regular drip tip on top. The next two are both Spinners of the 900 mAh and same set up. The blue one is an eGo 650 pass through and same set up. The black drip shield is a new addition from Empire Mods that I just got.

This next pic is without the drip shields or drip tips

And this one has two drip tips

The second from the left's atomizer is a 1.8 ohm 510 atomizer that I got from my local brick and mortar store. All the other atomizers are the Boge 2.0 ohm from Vapelite.

As you can see I'm a little partial to the Vision Spinners. I do have a 1100 Twist that I use on the go but prefer the Spinners for direct dripping because I can actually see what volt I'm at without having to go to extreme measures.

Oh. And the first two from the left I'm using ECBlend's Feels Like a Nut flavor alternating with their Chocolate Malt, Vanilla Malt and/or Dulce de Leche. The Spinner with the blue drip tip is the blueberry flavor alternating with Strawberry Shortcake. The blue eGo battery is the tropical punch alternating with Dragon's Blood.

Ah ok... Yes I used to drip when I first started with the LR atomizer, and I loved it. Just couldn't do the constant dripping every few hits.. But it's a great vape! Wish I would have known about Brians site earlier, I would have ordered the 1.8 heads. I just ordered five 2.4 heads, but with the variable voltage on the new bat I'm hoping for a decent vape with them. But thanks a bunch for your help and supplying those links, appreciate it! I bookmarked Brians site. ;-)

To prevent coil burnout, "safe" vaping occurs between 4.5 and 8 watts. If you want to know where to set your voltage, just find the square root of the product of the wattage you desire times the carto/atty/tank's resistance.

For example, if you want to vape at 8 watts, and have a 2Ω cartomizer, just multiply 8 by 2, and you get 16. The square root of 16 is 4. You need to set your variable voltage device at 4 volts to achieve 8 watts.

Using your 2.4Ω heads, 8 watts will occur at 4.4v on your PV (2.4 x 8 = 19.2...the square root of 19.2 is slightly less than 4.4...4.38 actually).

It sounds like a lot of math, but it gets easy once you've done it a couple of times. If math isn't your strong suit, by all means, use a calculator, or just click here.

100% agree. I recently just started vaping and started slim. 650mah twist, 2 mini novas and 1 charger. In the course of a week, in which i was awaiting my backups, i was nervous something was going to break, burn up or run out of juice! Since then i have purchased multiples of everything. Vision Spinner 1300mah, IClear30, 2 Vision nano's and 3 Kanger EVOD's. The nano's are fabulous for tasting juice as they are fairly small capacity and bottom coil so a coupla drops and you can taste away! The EVOD's are just fabulous imo. I got my first one thursday night and immediately ordered two more after using it half the day friday. Don't forget the juice! I also went on a juice spree this weekend, 354ml enroute to my location for vapor induced goodness!

Tam's got another nugget of brilliance in there as well. Instead of swapping cleaning everytime you want to swap flavors, by having multiple backups you can have a couple tanks/cartos/clearomizers hanging out ready to rock!

    Happy Vaping!

I didn't...not this time. lol Looks like they still have 9 more in the 2.0 ohm low resistance atties.

Like Rixter said I'm very partial to the Boge 2.0 ohm atomizers. Add an Empiremods eGo drip shield and a 510 drip tip and you're in business. These atomizers come with a "drip tip" type of top so you don't need to get a drip tip unless you want to. The tip that comes with this atomizer is pretty good because it doesn't let the juice come back up into your mouth when you take a drag.
