  1. I use stock coils and get great vapor. It's all in the juice ratios, imo. The people in the videos could be using juice with a higher PG ratio, it could be a whole number of things, actually.
  2. Compenstine, owner of Fadora Vapors, will be rebuilding Kanger Pro Tank coils -- eventually. He's not quite ready to roll them out for sale just yet. Don't worry about getting into more advanced stuff too fast. There's nothing wrong with taking it slow and learning everything you can. Take it at your own pace and just enjoy the ride.
  3. With a Kanger Pro Tank 2, 1.8 ohm single coil, a Vision Spinner variable voltage battery, some e-liquid in a 50/50 ratio and I can hit huge clouds. Doesn't take anything fancy, it's mostly in the juice and the ratio of PG/VG that will do it. No loss in flavor, either.
  4. First off, you don't unwind the coil from the silica wick. The wick should just slip out once you give it a tug. Then, you thread the cotton through the coil. You never want to unwind/build a coil without checking it on an ohm meter immediately afterwords to see if there's a short and what resistance it's at first.
  5. Hey, I think I found a couple that you lost...
  6. Not one friggin' clue how much juice I go through. Between direct dripping and the five or six different tanks of flavors I switch off to...have no idea how much juice is getting vaped.
  7. Yes. They're the regular single coils that Kanger Pro Tanks use.
  8. Six more custom HH.357, 2.0 ohm, standard, matte black from Avid Vaper. Woo hoo! Yes, the juice I vape is very hard on them so they don't last very long. Otherwise, they'd last nearly a year or more. Hush.
  9. Other than my FLaN with double extra sweet, I've never had any issues with EC Blends' juices being hard on coils. What are you ordering from them, Troy???
  10. I'm sorry, and I don't mean to be mean, but if you're that disorganized I worry about your safety when you start building your own coils. Building your own coils, especially if you're going to sub-ohm, means you pay attention to even the smallest details. The first thing you need to buy, even before you get the mod and cloudchasing kit, is a dedicated ohm meter. Then, you need to be sure you fully understand how to use it and what it means. After you get that down, then I would buy the rest of the kit. Just my two cents but it's worth much, much more when you consider the safety factor.
  11. Glad you're all safe and sound. 'Night, Josh.
  12. Ever try it with a twist of lemon? Mmmmm
  13. A bottle of Jameson's will also do the same.
  14. I thought the smap was a typo. Lol.
  15. I'd pay to see that! When I've flown, as long as your juices are all inside the 1 quart ziplock baggie with all the other liquids, it's all good. The TSAs at the Colorado Springs, Denver, Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Francisco and Salt Lake City airports were all good with it. This is the time that dripping made things easiest. All I had to do was to take out a bottle of juice and the rest was ready to go.
  16. What kind of mech mod is it?
  17. If it were me I'd go with the basic blueberry or strawberry from somewhere like Vape Dudes. With Fadora I would suggest getting something in his Signature line like Mellow Spice, Cinnamon Stick, Spiced Apple or Apple Cider. Those are amazing! The Homemade Canned Peaches is a thing of epic proportions, imo. The caramel cappuccino from EC Blends will probably need a week or so to steep so the creamy caramel flavor can truly come out. Nothing wrong with plug and play. Many of us have tried all the fancy stuff just to come back to the basics and find that those are "better" after all.
  18. For me, one of the reasons why I don't go with more VG (vegetable glycerine) is because when the VG level goes higher than 70, the juice starts to taste like I'm sucking on a glycerine bar. VG does have a flavor however subtle. 50/50 or 60/40 is more than enough vapor for my needs, it's sometimes too much. 100% VG will clog up your atomizers pretty quick, it's going to be thick juice so it won't wick as well. When it doesn't wick as well that means you're going to get dry hits when you take a draw. Those are harsh and very not pleasant. Bleh. If you're set on going 100% VG then you'll want to get into RDAs (rebuildable dripping atomizers). For this, you'll need a good working knowledge of Ohm's Law, a torch, A-1 Kanthal wire, organic untreated cotton balls (or whatever you want to use for wicking material), needle nosed pliers, and most importantly: an ohm meter and the knowledge of how to use it. That's my two cents anyway. Others may have differing opinions. He's using an MT3, Josh. 100% VG wouldn't be a good fit for that one. Oops. Never mind. I misread "with" as "what." I think I need more coffee and a timeout with Ma.
  19. Fadora Vapors and EC Blends and Vape Dudes all allow you do choose how much PG/VG you want in your juice. Those are my top three -- in that order.
  20. Interesting. Just ordered two bottles of Kirk's body wash. Can't wait to try it.
  21. Thanks. We have Krogers/King Soopers (same company) and a Wal-Mart too. Will look for it next time. I need all the help with the dry skin department that I can get.
  22. Where do you get Kirk's Coco Castille soap, BD?
  23. Toothpaste helps draw out the excess oil. The white pasty ones work best. For scars, use Scar Zone. It won't work quickly but it does work -- usually takes about a month's worth of constant use unless the scar is really dark or big.
