  1. When you get into RDAs you need to lower that nic level otherwise the throat hit will blast your tonsils. Talking from experience here. To the OP: In four more days I'll have two years of vaping under my belt. I'm very familiar with Ohm's Law. I've also rebuilt car engines back to factory specs. I'm no stranger to which end of the wrench to use. That said, even after all my experience when I got into RDAs (and I own a K100), I'm still learning. I built quite a few coils now, tested them on a dedicated ohm reader specifically made for e-cig parts as well as a Fluke meter to make sure I've got everything done right. The wick is what's got me stumped. I've youtubed the hell out of it and I'm using the correct batteries to make sure it's safe to use with the ohms the coils are at. And still no clouds. As a matter of fact I get more clouds out of my Anyvape Davides than I'm currently getting out of my RDAs -- so much so that I have to turn on a fan to clear the vapor in the room. Everyone is telling you to put safety and experience first because we've all been there, done that. No one wants to see you get hurt, and it's a very real possibility if you're not familiar with vaping and all the safety aspects that go with it. Just my two cents. You'll do what you want.
  2. When they get in (if you already ordered them), make sure to check that they're authentic. There are reports that some batteries from eBay are not authentic and could possibly be dangerous. Sorry to be a downer but it's better to be safe than sorry later.
  3. Well, it looks like I'll be better preserved than some other people.
  4. Slowly but yes, it's getting better. I just need to slow down a bit and get more rest, Ma.
  5. I've been craving my blueberry/peppermint mix but it gave a bit too much throat hit. With my sinus infection, that was not pleasant. On a whim I added a couple drops of Nicoticket's Custard's Last Stand to it and it vapes so smooth now.
  6. Yep, what Mtdobie said. FLaN is an acronym for Feels Like a Nut. The name Almond Joy is trademarked so they couldn't call it that. Everyone gets vaper's tongue when we vape one juice for too long. It's no different with FLaN. I just switch to a different flavor for a few minutes and then go back to it. Drinking more WATER also helps get rid of vaper's tongue as well. Hint hint. Just keep in mind that if you get the Dragon series, you definitely will need to steep them before the creamy texture and flavor comes through.
  7. One the biggest things you've learned on this forum if you've been reading it for a while is how to derail threads and go off topic. Lol! Welcome, Doug.
  8. You're welcome! I'm glad you like the HH.357 but I can't take the credit. It was thanks to Rixter who turned me on to them in the first place. I just shoot off my mouth about them to everyone else. Lol. These things are great, though. Even at the price for the custom ($25 each), they're more than worth it for the performance and flavor I get.
  9. Since I started vaping and got off the cigarettes I've gained about 30 lbs. There are more factors to my weight gain, though. There was the stress eating, my age and hitting menopause (which is almost a guarantee that a woman will gain weight), my time to work out was eliminated by the need to take care of my mother's worsening health, etc. Not using those as excuses but as additional factors into my weight gain. As the days get warmer I'm making plans to walk around the block once each night. Before you laugh about my one block, it's right at one mile so I should get a decent work out. I've also found a wonderful personal trainer who will be working with me beginning around June or so when I get my life and time back. Even with this weight gain my way too high LDL and over all cholesterol levels have changed to near perfect numbers. My blood pressure is still a little too low but not quite to the point where I need medication to raise it. I'll take the weight gain and stay off the analogs, though. Good luck with your weight loss plan!
  10. I appear to not have read all of your first post carefully and missed that. Sorry! Yes, that's a long time to wait. Comp gave some very good advice. Many people on this forum love CLS, me included. What you like will be entirely up to you since taste is so subjective but my favorite vendors are: Fadora Vapors (This is Compenstine's company) EC Blends Vape Dudes Five Pawns You might take a look at other reviews here regarding suppliers to see what's popular with our members here. Personally, I'm stuck on Fadora's watermelon (best I've tried out of a dozen or so), apple spice, mellow spice, apple cider...he even has an authentic tasting buttered popcorn flavor that tastes just like it (to me and many others). If juices aren't sweet enough for you, why not buy a bottle of sweetener from places like ecigexpress.com and add to your taste? That's what I do.
  11. Mine is a version 1 but so far it hasn't given me any problems. *knocks on wood* Watch. Now that I said that it'll crap out on me.
  12. Delacroix118? Sorry, we tend to hijack threads and derail them from time to time.
  13. You know...Josh is planning to hit Denver sometime in August. We can plan to meet up then! That way you don't have to make such a long trip.
  14. Nah, that would make me a supplier. Lol. Thanks but no. When I buy this base I get it in large amounts. Unfortunately, it's been here for quite some time since I don't vape it that much anymore so I'll be happy to see it go to good use. Give me a few days to doctor some more up and I'll send it your way.
  15. Too bad I can't blame my lack of attention to detail on the tech...in that way. My last remaining brain cell that was firing pooped out on me earlier. My iPhone crapped out on me yesterday so I'm learning how Android works. Add a new (free) tablet, and I'm not thinking clearly at all tonight. Lol! The VTR is nice, but it's not my go-to device. I prefer my Vision Spinners and Magneto. The K100 is close in line, though.
  16. Nope. Mostly, I order the juices as is to try it first. The FLaN wasn't one I'd try but it came as a free sample in one of my orders. Just so you know, the mojito I sent you -- the base is from my local B&M and then I doctor it up. If you want more I'll be happy to ship it to you.
  17. Yes, and I just gave away half a gallon zip lock baggie of other flavors I didn't care for.
  18. Yes, it does. Oh, wait. Sorry, wrong APV. Time for me to back away from the keyboard tonight.
  19. Come down to Colorado and you can try all the juices I have. Um...probably near 100 different flavors?
  20. Thank you.
  21. EC Blends' Dragon's Tear is a mix of dragon fruit, strawberries with a creamy undertone that only comes out with steeping. I've tried nearly all of their Dragon's series (no tobacco, though...ick), and I've liked every single one of them. The beauty of EC Blends is that you can buy 5 ml bottles at around $2.99 each. The more you customize, the more the price goes up but only by a little. There are several hundred flavors I'm not telling you about and over two dozen vendors...
  22. All the eGo and Vision Spinner batteries have the same 510 connection so they will all fit.
  23. In their FAQs, they state: There is typically a 4 to 8 BUSINESS days between the date most orders are placed, and the day they ship. THIS TIME MAY INCREASE depending on current total amount of orders, availability of items within your order, or other factors. and You can check your order under "My Account" on the website, and it will show you the correct status. Calling or emailing for updates on your order will only give you the same information that is available to you on the website. http://www.mstsbakery.com/pages/FAQ.html#howlong Have you checked to see that your email address is correct in your account? How long have you been waiting on this?
