iStick 20W can't settle on resistance
Tam replied to Earthling789's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
And even though the adapter is put on, you still get the same short. Great deduction, Earthling! Unfortunately, the HH.357 is doing the very same thing as the Nautilus. *sighs* Wait. The Nautilus. I have my mini on the blue iStick and it's not doing anything wonky -- it works just fine with no fluctuation of wattage. WTH? -
iStick 20W can't settle on resistance

I'm in the "let's wait until the champagne comes back in stock" camp. -
$150 - $300 a test that takes about two hours. Not a bad way to make some extra cash. Just wish the certificates only lasted a year instead of five.
-
Hey, what can I say? I made over $800 in one year testing guys' knowledge of lube. LOL
-
Just a little bit of e-liquid. Speaking of lube, did you know that in some professions you have to be certified to use lube? When I first heard about it I about laughed myself silly. And then I went to administer the lube certification test to 10 guys who worked at a cement plant. The Lube Council pays its testing proctors very well... I kid you not, there really is such a thing as the Lube Council.

My top cap is very firm. When I first got it I had to use a little juice on the O-rings to lube it a little.

If she gets a treat that's "too big" in her opinion, she goes and drops it into her toy box where it will petrify until she's ready for it. She hates a bed that's just been made up. She will root under it until it looks like my SO and I had a really good time...

OMG, Airplane. Now I'm going to have to go watch that! It's such a hilarious classic and still great today.
-
It's just personal preference but I've not had good luck with any Tobeco product. I prefer EHPro for clones.
-
Thanks. She's also old! She's 13 and still going strong.
-
The hair I chopped off of her filled a plastic grocery bag. Aw, he's still such a puppy!
-
Who made your clone, Tug?
-
Yep. He's another earmuff with teeth. Just like Teni. Before bath and haircut doing her best impersonation of a miniature sheepdog instead of a Maltese: After getting chopped all to hell and back because she wouldn't stay still for even a second:

Mine is a clone made by EphPro, it came with some wire, wick, a little screw driver and extra O-rings.

The iSticks seem to work fine with RDAs (I only build over 1.0 ohm anyway) and tanks but that's not why I bought them. Was originally looking to replace my Spinners (I and II) for use with my HH.357s but that's not an option. The IPV minis though... I'm stuck on what color I want next. That champagne looks really nice. -
Still working my way through season 2 of NCIS: Los Angeles. Tried watching it before but it didn't grab me, it's doing better at keeping my attention this time around. Must've been in the wrong mindset the first attempt.
-
My Stillare came with extra O-rings. Didn't yours, or did you use them already?
-
He looks like an angel when he's sleeping. You'll find a lot of dog people on this forum. Teni (rhymes with penny and short for Tenacity and she lives up to her name) thinks she's about 80 lbs more than her 8 lbs. Big dog in a small package but with an attitude to match.

For $24 why buy a clone when you can get a genuine Aspire Nautilus mini at the Vapor Talk store?

iStick 20W can't settle on resistance
Tam replied to Earthling789's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
So I put the HH.357 that my iStick was complaining about low resistance on my IPV mini. Put the Jam RDA on the iStick. Originally, the iStick said that the resistance of the HH.357 (originally at 2.0 ohm), was too low to fire. My IPV mini says it's at 2.4 ohms. I checked it on my ohm meter and it read 2.3 ohms. It vapes just fine at 5.0 watts. The Jam RDA reads 1.8 ohms on the iStick but on my ohm meter it reads 2.4 ohms. On my IPV mini, it reads 2.4 ohms. Either way, it vapes just fine on the iStick. I think I won't be getting any more iSticks but I can see a few more IPV minis in my near future. Might need some more Sony VTC4s as well. -
When my Maltese was a puppy she used to lay on my chest with her butt under my chin and let one rip. She's not allowed to do that anymore.

Who has an Atlantis and actually likes it?

^^^^ This. -
We all have our own favorite ways to do things, Earthling.

I've been known to derail a few topics but never to this degree. It's a whole new first.

I torch the wire first and then wind it into a coil. Once that's done I squeeze and torch at the same time. Torching the wire first takes a lot of the springiness out of the wire so it holds its shape better after you wind it.
