  1. If I remember correctly, KPT coils don't come in 1.2 ohm. The lowest is at 1.5 ohm but I could be wrong. If you want to use the same coils as the KPT3 mini that you have now, I'd go with an Aerotank. If you want to be able to use it on your Vision Spinner, that would be a good tank albeit a tiny bit top heavy because the Aerotank is bigger (and holds more juice) than the KPT3 mini. As for resistance, my personal preference is a 1.8 ohm coil for that. It's a good, versatile coil that doesn't eat through your charge but gives you plenty of room to increase the heat or decrease as you need.
  2. If you do decide to go into a sub-tank, do your homework first and learn about sub-ohms, battery safety, the proper box mod (if it's not an external battery type) that will be able to fire sub-ohms, etc. Research and learn about it first. Safety is key. It's not worth it to do otherwise.
  3. One of my favorite mixes is blueberry with a little bit of peppermint. Both are 12 mg nic with a 50/50 ratio. Since peppermint is a very strong flavor, a little bit goes a long way. I've mixed two or more flavors in the same tank before and wound up with a "mash" of I'm not sure what... but it was pretty good. Comp at Fadora Vapor sells a juice mash that many love. I'm not sure what all flavors are in it, you'll have to ask him. lol Mixing flavors when one gets low is fine. If I were you, though, I'd clean out the tank every so often. As you vape the juice, it gets hot and will sometimes get a taste in it that's not at all pleasant. Just a rinse under hot water and you should be good to go. To do a more thorough cleaning, let it soak in some vodka for a couple of hours. Whenever you clean/rinse a tank, I'd suggest you do it in a large bowl. Some O-rings float loose and it's easy for them to go down a drain when you're not looking. If I'm rinsing a coil, I always soak it in vodka instead of using water. It's easier to vape away the vodka, the water tends to stick around longer. If using water, let the coil dry overnight. Vodka will take out most if not all the last flavor.
  4. Interesting topic. I'm looking forward to hearing what others prefer.
  5. I'd get behind the Senior transport. It'll take a right turn at the next cross section and you can speed along on your merry way.
  6. Taste is so subjective. Just because you didn't find something good doesn't mean it will taste the same for everyone else.
  7. Let's see... weren't you the "Contest Whisperer" last night?
  8. I believe we have too much whispering around here lately. *looks at Tugboat*
  9. We have a whole looong thread discussing this issue here:
  10. I'm surprised she can even tell when you get something new in. You could just slip it by and she'd never know the difference. My SO long ago stopped trying to keep track. lol That's what we do. We enjoy helping others spend their money. In all seriousness, we want to see people get off analogs and onto vaping safely. It's a good day when we can do that.
  11. Hey, Earthling. Have you gotten one of the Eleaf iStick 50w yet? It's rounded on both sides and I really love the new functionality of this one.
  12. Yep, what Earthling said. He's the one who got me to buy the IPV mini and mini2, and I'm very happy with them both (he actually got me to buy two IPV mini and one IPV mini 2). With those, I already had a Nitecore charger but needed to buy several more batteries (got Sony VCT 4). If you want a cheaper alternative, I'd go with the Eleaf iStick 30w or 50w. With those, you don't need to get external batteries. If it were me, I wouldn't use your current battery any longer than it takes to get a new one in. That's just my opinion.
  13. I can't say for absolute certainty but I think it might be okay for a very short time. You should probably get another battery as soon as possible. A couple of box mods I've gotten lately and really like are the IPV mini, IPV mini 2 and the Eleaf iStick 50w. With the IPV mini and mini 2, you'll need separate batteries and a trusted battery charger. With the Eleaf iStick 50W, you only need a micro-USB cord as the battery is fixed inside the case. I'd say stay away from the Eleaf iStick 20w because there are problems with that one running much hotter than the display indicates.
  14. So it's the outside metal part. If it's not touching any part of the heating element, it shouldn't be a problem. If it were me, though, I'd have returned it (if possible), to the place where I bought it instead.
  15. The center pin of the battery? Is that what came up? Yes, please post a picture, that would be very helpful.
  16. Great review, Earthling!
  17. Come on over and play.
  18. Just put the contest up, Tug. Here's the link: http://fadoravapor.com/ <-- That's the link to Fadora. You can click through the flavors and guess as many times as you like.
  19. Hey, guys, what do you say to going over to the contest area? I think there's a 30 ml bottle of your choice of flavor from Comp's stash as a prize. Since you're new, Adversarious1, Comp is the owner of Fadora Vapors. He's one of our favorite juice-ologists on the forum.
  20. Good for you! I'm glad to hear you're on board with the safety thing. With your degree, you already appreciate how you need to be careful building coils.
  21. Like Jason said, get some back ups. I recently went through four of my back up batteries before one of them finally worked for me. Well, that and two different coils. You can never have too many back ups. Seriously. Right in line with the back ups will be us repeating SAFETY FIRST! We really do go on about doing research before jumping in, especially when building your own coils. You can never do too much research and always remember to put safety first. As for being friendlier than another forum... we get that a lot. It helps that most of us are pretty much nuts, it makes us appear friendly. At least on the outside.
  22. Tam

    6mg Nic

    Congrats on the 7 days!
  23. If you don't know the names of the equipment you're using, can you post a picture of your hardware? We should be able to identify things from there. Sorry, but we can't give you more help until we know what we're dealing with.
  24. Welcome to Vapor Talk.
  25. Is that your man-cave, Jeff?
