Got my "red" Eleaf iStick 50W in the mail today. The picture of it online looked like a washed out metallic pink, which I liked. What I got was the same bright magenta/hot pink like the iStick 20W. No problem there. I'm off to go find a suitable wrap.

Hi Nate. Long time no see. I'd go along with Tugboat's recommendation for an Eleaf iStick 50W. It comes with its own micro USB charger cord and is ready to go out of the box. Since mine got here it's been in constant use (and another one is in the mail to me now I liked it so much). Mech mods, while good, are a one trick pony. At this point in time I'd recommend something that's more versatile and that would be the iStick 50W. Haven't tried any of the sub-tanks that just came out but there's been a lot of good things being said about them. As with all sub-ohm coils, they give off great vapor and flavor, or so everyone tells me. I hope you find something that keeps you off the analogs, Nate. We're here if you need some support.

When California puts out anything to discourage vaping I'm very suspicious that they really don't want anyone to quit smoking. They get too much tax money from the sale and continued sale of cigarettes. Not so with vaping gear and e-liquids. Thanks for the link, Jason.

Huh. Never had that problem on my knee when I played them. Maybe it's when you have it for a prolonged period of time. Damn. Now you've got me thinking about it. There's a big Guitar Center here in town that I've never set foot in (even though I need new strings). I'm scared to go in there, it'll be worse than a vape shop I'm sure, but just as dangerous to my wallet.

My beloved Spinners have been taking a back seat to the Eleaf iStick 50W. That's been my main go-to since I got it. The case is fairly slick, but with a wrap on it, it's just about perfect. Hopefully, my other one should be delivered tomorrow. I'm starting to look for homes for my Spinners once I get a stock pile of the 50W on hand. Won't need as many as the Spinners since they hold a charge for... forever.

If you want a smaller tank I'd recommend going with an Anyvape Davide mini or Kanger Pro Tank mini. They're both similar but for me, the Davide minis just perform better. They use the same Kanger single coil. I don't know of anything that's totally wickless that's popular right now.
