  1. Gotta love any article that reports... facts.
  2. I'm in Colorado at around 5000 ft. The vapor production I get depends on humidity from what I've experienced. It's pretty much the same between here and arid Arizona at sea level, but get much more vapor when I'm in California and it's humid outside. I've also noticed a lot more vapor on the occasion when we get some humidity that gets us over our usual single digit status.
  3. Good for you! Wish more parents would make the time to do stuff (unplugged), with their kids.
  4. The IPV mini 2 goes up to 70W and has the same form factor as the IPV mini 30W. Both work extremely well. I use the Sony VTC 4 and Samsung 3400 mAh in mine, it depends on what I want to use it for at the time.
  5. I really like mine. What surprises me is that the iStick weighs less than my IPV mini and mini 2 but has so much more battery life than either one.
  6. Yes, all you have to do is hold the up and down button at the same time for a few seconds. Same thing to unlock.
  7. You don't say what flavor you're using now that's creating the harsh throat hit. Some more information would be helpful for us to help you. What' wattage/voltage are you vaping at? What is the highest wattage/voltage you used on this juice so far? When you were a smoker, how much did you smoke per day? What brand? What ohm coil are you using in your Sub-tank Nano?
  8. Earthling gave you the facts of it. I'll give you a couple of examples. We've all gotten some of the e-liquid with nicotine on our skins when we fill a tank or accidentally open the tank and the juice just spills out. When that happens, we just go clean up by washing our hands, changing clothes (if it got that far), wiping down the battery with a slightly wet wash cloth then a dry one, wiping up any excess that may have spilled elsewhere like the floor or desk or table, etc. Use common sense and you should be fine. Nicotine is something to take care with, but be sensible, use your head and you should be fine.
  9. Thanks! And when was it that you were getting one? I believe there's a hole in your collection that's iStick 50W shaped...
  10. Doesn't it take you back to when you were little and wanted something really bad? The anticipation is the fun part.
  11. What are they down to now, Earthling?
  12. Congratulations on your 15 year anniversary! It was a nice gesture, although I agree that a raise would've been a nicer one. No, all of my watches, I use. Every single one of them are Seiko brand, and I replace when one dies. Luckily, I've only had to replace them four times since I was 13 and got my first "adult" watch. I have, however, suddenly found myself with an Alaskan gold nugget jewelry collection when I wasn't looking.
  13. I keep a bunch of these little restaurant-style 8 oz. sauce containers for my lunches. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SK59UR6?psc=1 They're cheap and come in handy for so many different things! Might consider getting some?
  14. Boy, that takes me back. I used to be a bartender at an upscale (for this town) restaurant a long age ago where these drinks weren't uncommon. My favorite was a dry Gibson. Put a little Vermouth into Martini glass, swirl it around to coat the glass, snap it at the sink to get the rest of the Vermouth out. Pour some Tanqueray over ice, swirl gently, strain into glass. Add cocktail onions instead of olives. It's only 10 a.m. and now you've got me wanting one.
  15. Do you have a different battery? Try using the original tank on that (if you do), to see if that tank works okay. If the center pin won't stay up even after lifting it, I would return to the place where you bought it and get it replaced.
  16. Welcome to Vapor Talk.
  17. Congrats on getting to your first milestone! May you celebrate many more years of being smoke-free.
  18. ONLY way to cook a Wiener. My preference is either Nathan's or Hebrew Nationals.
  19. If it's too sweet and you prefer more tart in an apple flavor, I'd add a little touch of lemon.
  20. Welcome to Vapor Talk.
  21. Yes, we're on a 'whole other level', we're just not sure if that's a good or bad thing just yet. Welcome to Vapor Talk.
  22. For APVs that use external batteries, I love my IPV mini and IPV mini 2. They're both solid workhorses and not bad to look at, either. We all have our favorites. Others will be along shortly to share theirs.
  23. Got my first BB gun when I was 8. While my friends were busy playing house with the creepy looking barbie dolls, I was out target shooting instead. It kept me amused for hours on end.
  24. Sorry, sadly only one vote. I'm not a US citizen, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be out there getting other people to vote for you.
  25. Red Rover, Buck Buck, dodge ball... all activities that are now labeled as being too dangerous. We called them "fun."
