While the veil can definitely be used with a single coil, most prefer to use two coils because of the placement of the air intake slots. With only one coil, you'll still be getting air flowing in on the opposite side from your single coil, which will cut your vapor production down some. Ideally, with the battery your local store sells, you want to aim for two 1Ω coils for a total load of .5Ω. When you get the 2500mAh version of the purple Efest battery, you'll be able to go as low as two .4Ω coils for a total load of .2Ω. Personally, I set up my Infinite CLT (much like the Veil) with two .8Ω coils for a total load of .4Ω. That's plenty...trust me.

There's some controversy as to whether or not Efest's labeled discharge rates are accurate or not. With the purple 2500mAh battery, they claim 20 amps continuous and 35 amp pulse (momentary). With the 2100mAh version, they only state 30 amps, and it's unclear as to whether that mean continuous or pulse. Since the store you're getting them from suggests .5Ω and above, I'd stick with that.
Personally, I've found no need to make coils any lower than .5Ω...that creates plenty of vapor in an RBA with airflow like the Plume Veil has. Remember that if you plan on using a dual-coil setup and want to achieve a .5Ω total load, you'll need to make two 1Ω coils, since when using two coils, you half the resistance of each coil. That's why having a meter is so critical...it's the most important piece of equipment you can have.

okay thank you. Also besides the 3 set of coils he's giving me with one already installed with cotton and all he's also giving me around 10ft of Kanthal and around 10 pieces of Japanese cotton how many coils should that make and how long should the cotton last me?
You'll probably own too many mods by the time you run out of 10' of Kanthal & 10 pads of Japanese organic cotton. You'll want to separate those cotton pads in half to reduce their thickness a little, and that means you'll have 20 pads. That should last you quite some time.

If you've been a vaper for a while, you have no doubt heard the name Efest.
This 18650 IMR Battery has a capacity of 2100mAh, a maximum discharge rate of 30Amps, and an operating voltage between 3.3 Volts and 4.1 Volts.
This battery is great in a mechanical mod, with a sub-ohm coil down to .5 Ohms.
This Efest battery carries the Anti-Counterfiet label so you can verify that it's not a clone.
So referring to the statement in red above, a freshly charged Li-Ion battery (4.2 volts) with a .5Ω load on it equals 8.4 amps. Voltage divided by resistance (ohms) equals current (amps). As long as your load doesn't go below .5Ω (as they recommend), you should be fine, but I'd try to get the 2500mAh version before going any lower than that.
*EDIT*
I'm pretty sure that the 2100mAh version will handle more than 8.4V, but since the 30A discharge rating doesn't specify if it's constant or pulse, I'd err on the side of caution.

Okay! I'll look into it some more when I'm there tomorrow they also have those nitecore chargers also this batter is the efest right?
I use the 2500mAh version. I don't know if that 30A rating is constant or peak. The 2500mAh purple Efests are 20A constant/35A peak.

How about this one?
That should be okay to start with, but I'd get something like this as soon as possible. It's pretty inexpensive ($12.99) and has some really nice features.

If you can get a charger that has a visual indicator of the actual charge state of the battery, whether it's a lcd readout or just a segmented light, that will come in handy for letting you know about how much time you have left to achieve a full charge. Also, try to get one that has a 1 amp charge mode for charging your batteries quickly. If you're getting it from your local B&M (and they sound like they have a clue), ask them what they recommend.
FYI - Since you're going to be using a mech mod, you'll have no way to know what your battery charge level is (other than the drop in performance due to battery drain from usage). After some use, you'll figure out when it's time to recharge your battery, but until you do, change out your battery before you think you need to. Running your charge down too low (depends on the battery) can ruin it. I don't like to take them below 3.5 volts no matter what battery I'm using.

If your charger light changes from green to red when you place the battery in it, it's probably making a good connection. With that being a 450mA charger, I can see it taking upwards of 5 hours to fully charge a battery that's drained to about 3.5V. Keep in mind that if you drain some Li-Ion batteries below a certain point (depends on the battery), you can render it permanently useless.

My order placed on 1/3 to Fasttech was packaged and shipped on 2/3, and has been sitting in a Chinese PO since 2/4... and hasn't moved an inch
It still has a week to get to Chicago (US Customs), where it will sit another 7-10 days... I figure I'll eventually receive it by mid-March or early April...
Been there...done that...over and over again. I've been completely satisfied with just about everything I've ordered there, but sometimes the shipping times are pretty extreme. You can't beat their prices, though.

I really like the design! I wonder if they'll produce an 18650 version, and/or one in brass or copper?
I don't know if they will, but FastTech already has.

DO NOT skimp on battery or chargers!!!
I only use vtc4 batterys and a Nitecore Digi charger. I do have a Efest charger as a back up and I hope I never have to use it.
If I forgot to say before, read, ask questions here and watch you-tube non stop!!!...lol

I do use Sony VTC4s, but genuine Sony VTCs are not as readily available as the purple Efests, which are, in addition to costing less than the Sony's, quite capable of sub-Ω loads (down to .2Ω). I can tell no difference in performance between the VTCs and the purple Efests.
I also use an Efest Soda charger (on the 1A setting) daily and it's never let me down. When I first got it, I checked the batteries I charged with it for a while, and they all green-lighted at 4.2V.
The Nitecore Intellicharger Universal Battery Charger, also sold at the Vapor Talk Store, is a very reasonably priced charger and gets good reviews online.

No difference in performance, and with a telescopic mod like the Panzer, it shouldn't matter which type you use. Just make sure it's an IMR (safe chemistry) battery capable of handling the amperage draw of the RDA's load (coil resistance). Among others, I use Efest's 18650 2500mAh 20A/35A IMR batteries because they're some of the most widely available batteries online and can safely handle loads down to .2Ω.

First off, know that mechanical mods can be dangerous given the right (or wrong) circumstances, but can also give you an extremely satisfying vaping experience. I would suggest finding out from the device's current owner all you can about how to use it safely, and ask questions on this forum. There's a lot you'll need to know in order to avoid a possible catastrophe, but there are a lot of knowledgeable people here who'll be glad to help you out along the way.

Hard to go wrong with a mech mod and RDA for $30. It looks to be in pretty good shape, so if it works and you like the way it looks and performs, I'd say that's a pretty good deal. Do you know much about using mechanical mods and rebuildable dripping atomizers (RBAs)?

Rixter, serious question here...
How long will a two gallon mix last you? And, if it went over the two year mark, what would happen to it?
In addition to vaping my own juices, I make ejuice for about a dozen people in my area, so while a gallon each of PG & VG will last a long time for me, I doubt they will make it two years. Most of the people getting eliquid from me are using cartos or clearos, but there are a few of us using fog machines, so we go through our juice pretty quick.
I'll only be opening the gallon jugs to refill smaller, more manageable glass bottles, and at the price I paid, I'll have no problem tossing whatever is left when they hit the two year mark.
