  1. lol enjoy the drip shield tameiki and if you feel like trying out the 306dca one day it'll be there yeroc, it works perfectly on my ego's and vv gripper, and makes my ego's look pretty badass. It does work on my lavatube, but i've had some connection problems w/ the lavatube, and sometimes it won't fire it. I think it's more of a LT problem than a 306 dca problem.
  2. Yeah, i gave up on getting one for months but then i finally caught them when they were in stock. It made me cranky at first but now that i have one, i must say it was well worth the wait. I've tried a few dripping setups and nothing has satisfied like this. If you sign up for the email updates and hit the site within 48 hours of getting the email notification, chances are they won't be out yet.
  3. Gotcha, glad to hear you got it sorted out. No one likes a leaky o-ring lol
  4. I still love it. Pretty much the same as my initial impressions. Awesome feel in your hand, love how small and compact it is. No issues whatsoever with vape time and power. Been using AW IMR 18650's in it and it gets the job done. Some issues with the build quality, this isn't a device you'd want to take out and about with you, or on a camping trip of something like that. I took it on a fishing trip and dropped it on concrete and it started to separate at the middle seam, but i just pushed it back together and thankfully it still seems to be working tho. Def. have to be careful with it, it is plastic, and isn't built to take a beating.
  5. Her'es the image i thought *almost* looks like a Reosmod http://www.innokin.com/uploads/121002/1-1210021F116107.jpg
  6. I'm drooling at the mouth looking at this new iTaste mod. Looks like a Reosmod, but hopefully will be less expensive and more accessible. Don't know much about it so wanted to post to see if you guys know anything about it. Here's a link to innokins website and pbusardo's first look. What do you guys think?? http://www.innokin.com/itaste-mvp.html http://www.tasteyourjuice.com/topsecret/wordpress/2012/10/02/innokin-itatse-mvp-first-look/
  7. Hellz yeah!!! Knew I liked you blu ;-) They put on a damn good show. Gotta love that they're still kickin it, they aiint exactly spring chickens anymore lol. 19 years and counting!
  8. TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA ******* TURTLES!! lol Had the bedsheets, actions figures and errrverything
  9. If you've become a dripping monster, you might like a 306DCA from GoodSenseVapor. I never dripped b/c it was always too much of a hassle but the 306dca makes it easy and i'm really liking it. It's basically a sealed leak-free cup that you screw a 306 attomizer into, and comes with a wide mouth drip tip that you drip straight into. It's nearly impossible to overdrip, won't leak, and you don't have to remove the drip tip to drip. Only downside is they only release their products in waves, so you gotta keep an eye on their blog to see when the next release is coming out and grab 'em quick. Their prices aren't on there when they don't have products, but i think the cup (made of 2 parts, bottom and upper), a drip tip, adn 2 atty's ran me like $45. Then again, if you love your 510 and drip sheild, disregard and enjoy
  10. Let us know you you fair, hopefully it's something other than a problem with the thingamajiger, cuz i don't know if there's a fix for a bad thingamajiger. Thingamajiger!
  11. What juice are you using? If VG is 50% or higher that's why, you'll want to either slot the carto with a dremmel or punch extra holes using a carto punch. Those prepunched holes really only work for high PG juices. I vape a 75PG/25VG mix, and while some might shudder at this method, i use the prepunched hole to hold a nail in place, then give it a medium strength whack with a hammer (only 1) that enlarges the hole but keeps the nail from piercing any of the innards of the carto. Works well for me.
  12. A good soak in cheap *** vodka seems to work well enough for me. i soak for about 48 hours, rinse with hot water, then let it dry for about 24 hours or so. Echoing what everyone else has said, when it's time to pitch it, it's time to pitch it.
  13. That's the tough part i still struggle with. When i can smell the analogs i want one. I've found that it helps to just take a deep breath, and instead of focusing on how the smell makes you want want, use the smell as a way of satifying that craving. Does that make sense? lol When i smell it and crave an analog, i just close my eyes, take a deep breath (of analog 2nd hand lol) and think mmmm thats good. Then i don't want an analog anymore. Picking up a good musky cigar/tobacco flavor of ejuice will help too. And lastly, I've been "analog free" for almost 6 months now but i'll have one in special situations. My last one was at a NOFX concert a couple weeks ago (alcohol does not help my will power lol). Don't beat yourself up over it, you just gotta be careful and not give yourself too many freebies or you'll end up buyin a pack.
  14. Took it, good luck w/ your research. One aspect of ecig marketing i really hate (mostly with mini crappy models geared toward 1st time buyers) is the whole "smoke anywhere" thing. That's just not what it's about, and anyone who buys an ecig just for that reason is just dumb. IMO opinion of course.
  15. I absolutely LOVE their ginger's RY4. My all day vape along with their cinnamon danish swirl. The normal TVR RY4 is good to, but something about Ginger's blend just puts the "icing on the cake" so to speak. Blu have you tried their Sweet Strawberry or Strawberries & Cream? I love strawberries and strawberry flavoring too but i wasn't a huge fan of either flavor. Dunno what it is. I feel like i keep hittin them constantly cuz every vape only satisfies me 80% of the way if that makes any sense. Anyways thanks for the review! i'll have to give the Strawberry Cheescake a try next time it comes up on the flavors of the week. Did you catch the Gingers RY4 last week? I bought 4 x 30ml's lol should be set for awhile
  16. Is the little rubber cap coming loose, or missing? That'd be my first guess. Try giving it a little press down. Only other thing i can think of is maybe the head is coming loose, try emptying and cleaning the tank, and make sure the head is tight on the base. Also make sure the bottom cap is tight on the tank threads. If all else fails try a different head and if it still leaks, there's probably a problem with the inner post thingamajiger.
  17. Yeah it took me a couple months to get one. They release a batch every month or so but it sells out quick. Sign up for the notifications and be ready to pounce!
  18. It serves the same basic function as a drip sheild in that it prevents any sort of leaking, but to use a drip sheild with a 306 you need 2 x 510-510 adapters, cherry vapes universal drip tip, drip sheild over that, then a 510 drip tip. Looks cool w/ all that but doesn't work very well at all.
  19. So up until now i've been a strictly carto guy. Carto tanks all the way. I played around with dripping before, but leaking and never getting a perfect hit led to abonding the effort. I'd always either get dry scratch hits or i'd have leaking all over the place. I'd heard about the 306DCA that eliminates leaking issues, it's basically a sealed cup that you screw a 306 atty into. After stalking thier site for months (they're almost always out of stock, gotta catch em when they do a sale as they sell out fast) i finally got one. I've only had it for a few days but i must say i'm thoroughly enjoying it. You really can't overdrip with this thing. If you do, there isn't much gurgling and i have yet to get any juice in my mouth. It comes with a lower assembly, upper assembly and drip tip. Assembly is easy, you just fit the upper assembly over your atty, then screw that into the lower assembly. Pop on the drip tip and you're good to go. I've been dripping some Cinnomon Danish Swirl from TVR and it's just a full, delicious vape. I highly recommend this accessory for every 306 dripper. It does get pretty hot after a couple consecutive hits, but that's probably a good thing as without that, i'd probably never put it down
  20. The ego-c atty setup is frustrating and doesn't perform well consistently. Regless of what method you choose from suggestions, I'd definiately recommend you choose something else. Any of the above suggestions will be a considerable improvement. Cartomizers and carto tanks for low hassle on the go, dripping or vision clearos or vivi nova tank for great flavor. For me variety is key. I have a carto tank and vivi nova tank for on the go, and drip on my new 306dca setup when sittin around at home.
  21. I'd be careful about buying juice that is advertised as having better TH at low nic levels. I've heard of some juice manufacturers adding what they consider to be a safe amount of alcohol to the juices for extra throat hit. Have no clue about Halo, but something to watch out for. For me, i just pump up the voltage when i need extra TH. I started at 24, moved down to 18, and now i'm fully transitioned to 12mg and still get good a good hit from it.
  22. Sorry, forgot to make it back to this thread, i use both DCT carto tanks and Boge's in a Jtank. I like the DCT tanks better for vapor and throat hit, and the boges for flavor. The one's you linked to aren't ideal for tanks, you'll prolly want to pick one the prepunched ones with the flange on the bottom, but that's just my preference. It's basically the same carto. I get my DCT tanks from ivape since they have the larger version: http://ivape.net/index.php/Stainless-cap-DCT-system-white.html And cartos for them here: http://www.crystalclearvaping.com/-3-BOX-BUNDLE-DEAL-510-SMOKTECH-17-ohm-XL-SS-TANK-STYLE-RESURRECTORS-Bottom-plated-and-single-punched-for-all-the-DCT-tanks-I-sell_p_94.html I also get the jtanks from ivape, but a cheaper boge tank is available here: http://www.crystalclearvaping.com/45ml-tanks-for-reg-size-cartos_p_159.html And boge cartos from wherever is cheapest at the moment
