  1. I don't see why you couldn't use those tanks, although some of the bigger ones could look goofy on the small 510 batteries. You'll also want to make sure you get cartos with the metal flange/lip on the bottom otherwise the tank could easily slide all the the way down the battery. Looks like the one you linked to has it, but make sure you get the same ones for replacement cartos.
  2. Not all the time, but every now and then. Usually on the weekend. During the week i'm too damn tired and I zonk out within seconds lol.
  3. I've got Boba's Bounty (100% VG) in both a boge LR carto and a resurrector carto from CCV and i haven't had any problems with it clogging up. Honestly other than vapor production i don't notice much difference. I usually vape a mix somewhere around 75 pg/ 25 vg or 50/50. If you vape 100% VG you might notice a slightly lighter throat hit, and IMO flavors seem to take on a bit more of a dark rich flavor than the sweet lighter flavor you get with PG, so really i think it depends on the flavor. Tobacco & coffee flavors i like the dark rich flavor, with fruity flavors i'd probably want them to be more sweet so i'd go for something closer to 75/25 pg/vg. Like justvape said, it's like shooting fish in a barrel. Trying out different combos of pg/vg has never kept me from finishing off juice that's not ideal tho
  4. I appreciate that Brad. Your post on May 5th said it was on it's way, I assumed that meant it had been shipped. Delivery time aside (I realized it's disclaimed, but i'd discontinue it again), I'm not debating that my order wasn't for a 3.5ml giant clearo, as you stated that is clearly what's in my order. But i really think that there was a swapped photo or something like that on the site as the photo of what I ordered looked nothing like what i got. What i got didn't even really look like the 3.5ml giant clearo either to be honest, as it was a more foggy opaque coloring than it looks here (http://vaporsupplies.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=78&product_id=357) and it also did not light up. Maybe the LED was just DOA and that's what sparked all the confusion along with me really still being a newb at vaping. Not sure. The names don't mean much to me, i order off the pictures. Regardless I appreciate your efforts to make this right and I'd be happy to give you guys another shot when i need to restock as you do have some great prices. Thanks, Dan
  5. Congrats! My story is very similar to yours. Started on blu, not enough TH, went to 21st century not enough flavor. Not enough battery life with either brand. I've landed on an ego battery w/ boge LR cartos or ressurector carots and I couldn't be happier. Congrats! and keep working on getting the gf to switch
  6. I have been an ego vaper all the way, ego twist if you'd like to try out VV. Super versatile and awesome performance. Dont drip and drive! lol a good LR carto is great for on the go. I have 4 or 5 cartos filled w/ different flavors and that usually lasts me 2 days before I even have to touch a juice bottle to refill. Nashville vapor has some sweet deals on starter kits that come with several carto options, i'd prolly buy from them if i knew about them when I bought my first kit. Other than that, smoktek.com and ivape.net have some good prices and good selection on hardware, and resurrector cartos from crystalclearvaping.com are awesome. Congrats on being analog free and don't hesitate to ask any more questions!
  7. I probably need to follow that advice as well lol
  8. Cool extras indeed, that's why i love the vapor room i need to check these guys out, I've seen their website and they look to have some great stuff. I like their starter kits too, most starter kits you see out there i think 'well i wouldn't use half of that stuff' but they look to have some great options on starter kits. And how awesome is the wooden cigar box that comes w/ some of 'em!
  9. I finally got a couple of these and it really reminds me of the ego-c tank system on the vapor, th, and flavor. I got the version 2 cuz i read about the initial wicking problems. I wanted these to work so bad because they're awesome as far as looks are concerned, but the performance doesn't live up to it's looks IMO. Everything seems about 80% of what I get from a boge LR or resurrector carto, and for me it's too finicky to continue using for the muted performance. you essentially need to "charge" it by setting on it's side for a bit, even w/ the longer wicks to get a hit worth your while. I've been using it for 4 days with a 50/50 bluberry crumble juice from TVR. Gonna try the other one i got with a mostly PG juice like Hype, but i prolly won't buy more of these. The resistance on them was 2.1-2.4 i think but i didn't measure them to confirm. Great looks, ok performance, but if i used it all day i don't know that it could get the job done.
  10. Cartos for on the go, dripping while i'm sittin on my butt watching tv (and usually refilling cartos) cartos: Boge LR, Resurrectors dripping: 306 bridgeless w/ drip tip Mike, you convinced me on that empire mods drip shield setup. Tired of the leaking w/ my crummmy plastic drip tip. Order placed yesterday
  11. Thats a very good point, when quitting you don't just 'quit' as 1 action. You have to essentially relearn how to get through each part of your daily routine that used to involve cigarettes. The hardest one for me was and still is driving. Who didn't love goin for a drive on a gorgeous day with the window down and smokin a few cigs? The cup of coffee is another big one. Obv. anytime anyone else lights up is a trigger as well. It is tough, but just remember that once you're off the analogs and the rest of the chemicals, and you start feeling better, smelling better, tasting better, you'll never look back, and you'll enjoy vaping more than you ever enjoyed analogs!
  12. And we're happy for you! VaporTalk is indeed both an awesome resource as well providing awesome support. Glad to have you!
  13. Hey matt, I was in the same boat as you as i need my throat hit. If you have an ego battery try some ressurector cartos from crystal clear vaping. I've been high on those recently as like you, I tend to suck the hell outta my battery (insert joke). I like them cuz they delivery great vapor, throat hit, and flavor but they have a very airry, loose draw on them. With some of the tighter draw cartos i feel like drawing too hard will just give you an inconsistent unpleasurable vape and wont satisfy the craving, but with looser draw cartos, it doesn't seem to make a difference and drawing hard doesn't seem to affect performance at all. Boge 2.0 LR cartos also have good performance and a loose draw, but i've been high on the ressurectors recently. Other than that, what everyone else said, a VV batery will help on the throat hit, i've had the ego-c twist for about a week now and loving it. Good price, good performance, variable voltage. Good luck and stick with it. It can only get easier
  14. Haha Rixter i used 21st century too for awhile, although it wasn't the disposable kind. It was step 2 after my blu. It was a step up in battery life but a step down in flavor lol. I eventually went back to analogs for a couple weeks after 2 1/2 months or so of using it.
  15. U won't be disappointed Jim totally agree that different juices/devices have different sweet spots, and for that reason i love the ego-c twist. Total versatility. I make minor tweaks to get it right where I want it evertime.
  16. A universal battery that can be used with any device? Sign me up. Almost seems to consumer friendly to really happen lol
  17. I hear ya, we all love vaping that's why we're here mine wasn't noticeable to others either, i had the girlfriend stare at my eyelid at point blank range and she couldn't see it lol.
  18. Haven't found anything as far as the condition being linked to vaping, although after a couple days of going to bed earlier and going from 4+ cups of coffee a day to 1 or 2 max, it seems to have largley subsided. I made the post b/c i was a little worried after it had persisted pretty consistently throughout a day or two, plus it was flat-out obnoxious. It's almost completely gone now, and when it does start it seems to only last a couple seconds. 2 months would drive me nuts lol, have you considered making a trip to talk to your doctor about it? If you are experiencing some sort of allergic reaction you def. want to know about it sooner than later. It could be something in the juice or maybe even something in the metal of your device. Hell it could also be a new food you tried or really anything. It's hard to find really any substantial data on vaping regardless of the condition tho because it's such a new industry. The only other thing I can think of is if you're vaping heavily at a higher nic level that could def. be the culprit as well. Hope you find a solution :-
  19. Oh nice, thanks! I didn't think they had it when i bought the black one last week. Mighta missed it.
  20. No prob! also just found these guys, i haven't ordered from them so i can't speak on their service, but they have some good looking starter kits. Ego Mega carto option, or the larger kit looks like it comes w/ a couple different carto options, a little more pricey but compared to other kits i've seen it's worth it. Especially if you're just starting out that would be a good way to sample a few different devices to see what you preferences are. http://www.nashvillevapor.com/site/products-page/starter-kits/the-ego-dual-coil-cartomizer-kit/ http://www.nashvillevapor.com/site/products-page/starter-kits/nashville-vapor-ego-pro-kit/
  21. Same, everywhere i've seen only has the 1000mah in black, anyone seen it in stainless?
  22. I'd say ego but i'm biased b/c that's all i use If i had to do it all over again tho, i probably wouldn't go w/ the starter kit route. I used the tank system for about a week and haven't touched it since. All you really need is 2 x 1000mah or 900mah batteries, some Boge LR 2.0ohm cartos, and your juice. The vapor talk store is great, and here are a few other suppliers i've used: http://ivape.net/ http://www.smoktek.com/ http://indyvaporshop.com/ Smoktek ships out from tampa florida, so you'd probably get the order in no time. And if you like the Ohio State Buckeyes (or dont mind a buckeye logo on your cartos), here's a local shop near where I live. They have dirt cheap prices on ego starter kits and cartos although their selection isn't as robust as the others http://www.buckeyevapors.com/
  23. Ha, amen. Nice collection! Where'd you pick up that drip shield? If it looks even more badass than in the picture i might need to pick one up
