  1. i got the 1000mah in black, it is pretty long but i also have a ego-t 1000mah passthrough that's a little longer than that standard 1000mah's so it didn't take me long to get used to. My camera's at work but the ego-c 650mah measures out around 27/8 inches, my ego-t 1000mah PT measures 45/16 inches and the 1000mah ego-c twist is 43/4 I just think of it as a big stogie lol
  2. Haven't used them but i've heard good reviews. As far as other devices maybe some sorta j-tank setup? It's almost a clearo... lol. Sorry i'm no help. I tried. Sorta.
  3. I think lack of sleep was my biggest problem. I couple nights of going to bed early and it seems to have largely diminshed. The day before i posted it seemed to be happening a lot so i figured i'd better look into it. I'm sorry about the PTSD you gotta be one tough cookie to deal with that.
  4. I don't remember the brand, but it was a mini model my brother had. The draw on it was so tight i might as well have been sucking on a marker. Vapor and TH was next to zero and I don't recall even getting any flavor. Had much better experiences w/ the other mini's i tried, blu and 21st century smoke, but they still didn't do it for me in the long haul. My ego battery and an assortment of delivery systems is keeping me quite happy now
  5. That's awesome! I know a few health organizations have spoken out in support. The more the better!
  6. Yeah my ego-c tanks and attys have gone in the drawer to save as a backup for my backups lol. Right now all i'm usin are boge LR's and smoktech DCC's. I'm sure I'll try out a vision clearo sooner or later. Haven't played around w/ my 306's on different voltages, but I noticed I really really like my Boba's at higher voltages. To me it finishes w/ a slight marshmellow like flavor that tastes real good as a warmer vape, whereas w/ my fruity flavors i like it lower and cooler.
  7. So.... i still haven't gotten the replacement part he said they were sending me. It's been 19 days. My original beef w/ this place was the ridiculously long delivery time when using China Air. You'd think he would've sent this replacement part thru a faster method to change my opinion. Also, the 2nd problem was that i received the wrong part. Here's what he said my order was: 3.5ml Clear Giant Cartomizer V2 for 510/eGo - Resistance: Green 2.3-2.5Ω 3.5MLGIANT 1 $7.99 $7.99 5pc Boge 510D Soft Cap Empty Cartomizer (multiple colors) - Colors: Black - Resistance (R LR): LR BOGE510CARTO 1 $5.99 $5.99 You'll notice the first item's name and price does not match what it's linking to. I think this could have been part of the problem as what I received looked nothing like what I had added to my cart. Vaporsupplies.com still gets a giant thumbs down for me as literally everything that could have gone wrong has. I was happy when he commented on the forum saying they were sending me a replacement part for free, but it's been almost 3 weeks and i haven't gotten anything. Bummer.
  8. I picked one up too, so far so good. I was worried how vaping at a higher voltage would affect the battery life, but it still seems to last me most of the day. Nice the be able to bump it up a bit when you're craving that extra throat hit. I'm usually staying between 3.4-4.0
  9. And congrats on not being horribly disappointed blu!
  10. I think everyone just likes the type of button the used first lol
  11. Hahaha and i don't mean eye twitching like in my profile pic. That's the stink eye...and it's intentional
  12. So i've noticed my eye twitching pretty regularly over the last week or so. It usually lasts for 5-10 minutes, and it seems to happen a half dozen or so times a day. It's pretty annoying so i did a quick google search on it. This article lists stress, lack of sleep, and over consumption of caffeine and the main reasons for it (3 for 3....lol) and I was just wondering if anyone knows if nicotine can contribute to that as well. Does anyone else experience this? The simple solutions are obviously to stop stressing about work, go to bed earlier, and switch to decaf, but I'm curious if anyone else on here experiences this in any form or fashion. I've been considering switching to decaf coffee anyways since I'm a pretty heavy vaper and i figure one less addictive stimulant the better. Any thoughts? http://www.wisegeek.com/how-can-i-make-my-eye-stop-twitching.htm
  13. I like to dabble in just about everything lol, but right now my favs are RY4 from TVR and Hype from AVE. Can't wait till Dulcis gets here so i can finally sample what you all have been raving about
  14. Someone speak up if i'm wrong, but I THINK the genuine joyetech's are 3.3v, some other ego style batteries that are not genuine joyetech run at 3.7 tho
  15. Is there an echo in here? lol, should've refreshed. Got caught up lookin thru their site before i posted.
  16. I think he means the DCA setup not the attomizer itself. They're all nearly $30, plus it looks like they're out of nearly everything. Very slick looking tho.
  17. I'd assume that means its charge is low or that it's turning off, or maybe the connection is bad. Be sure to wipe out your battery connection every so often especially if you drip. There's so many different versions of these batteries it's hard to keep track, i'd ask the supplier you bought it from to be sure exactly what 3 blinks means if you keep having problems with it.
  18. I haven't noticed it moving on me yet Chris, it seems to hold it's place pretty well, but I suppose if carried around in a pocket or purse for awhile it prolly would. Personally i'd prefer a more clicky knob so i know exactly where i'm at. If it's in between 3.8 and 4.0 am i at 3.8 or 3.9? everything i've read says it can be adjusted in .2 intervals so i'd assume i'd still be at 3.8, but you see my point lol Thanks blu, can't see myself goin any higher than 4.2, and i only bump it up to that on juices with little to no throat hit. 3.6-4.0 seems to be my sweet spot, lower on the DCC's cuz like u said, the vape gets a bit too warm and drowns out the flavor.
  19. So i picked one of these up, seems to be working pretty well right now. The twist has a slightly different feel than i was expecting, i thought it would sorta 'click' as you twist letting you know the voltage has changed, more of a digital control. Instead it's more of a smooth analog-style knob. Still works tho. It goes from 3.2v-4.8v at .2v increments. I'm enjoying vaping right around the 4volt range, usually not higher than 4.2v. any higher seems to kill the flavor. So since i'm new to VV, what voltage range should i stick to on my 2.0 ohm LR boge cartos? The chart in the 'Help! It Broke' section says i shouldn't go any higher than 4v, but some have said thats a bit conservative. I don't plan on going much higher than 4.2v on a regular basis. Is that fine on the Boge LR's?
  20. Welcome and congrats on kicking analogs!
  21. So i stopped by the shop today, they're just getting started so the shops a little bare, but they have a real cool little setup going. They have awesome prices on cartos, ego starter kits, and juices, and without shipping my cost of vaping just got even lower. The front room has all their products and they have a back lounge area where you can just chill. Both guys are very friendly and let me sample all their juice, and they even tossed in a free 5ml bottle cuz it was the one guys birthday lol. I'd definatley recommend you check it out, good prices, cool dudes, supporting a local up and coming business. He also mentioned if they get going they'd like to get some events going in their lounge, maybe an xbox tournament, hang out for buckeye games, etc. If you live in Columbus and you're a vaper or even just looking to learn about ecigs and get an awesome price on a starter kit, check our Buckeye Vapors!
  22. well shoot, I did not have that information when i bought the drip sheild lol. Looks like it's useless till i get one :-/
  23. couldn't tell ya, I only use the standard 306 tips right now. I'm tryin out a drip shield to see if that gets rid of the occaisional leaking, it's gettin delivered today so we'll see how it goes.
  24. lol nope, it's Dan. I actually look nothing like my pic, I only had that stache for about 5 mins for fun when i was shaving my last 'winter beard' lol
  25. Oh yeah, and as for a recommendation these are the only 2 places i've tried them from so far, seem to have good pricing and i love the taste i get out of both of them when i dont over or under drip iVape http://ivape.net/index.php/306-Low-Resistance-Atomizer.html Sweet-vapes (debridged) http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?page=shop.product_details&flypage=vmj_color_plus.tpl&product_id=254&category_id=20
