  1. You do run through Ego-C attys at an alarming pace sometimes, and sometimes they last almost forever (3 weeks of heavy vaping). I vape the same juice, the same way, every day, and have noticed that the LR attys go at about the same pace as cartos, always hit or miss really. The attys are easy to clean for a 2nd run though through dry burn/boil/alcohol bath, much easier than cartos are at least.

Keep with the Ego-C in my opinion, but YOU MUST get a pack of cartos in case of failure. You cant let yourself get caught off guard with these little guys ;) The Ego-C is equally as reliable as cartos IMO, and about the same price, but with better flavor overall, cartos tend to get muted about a week in to them, I have never had a loss of flavor until my atty dies in my Ego-C.

  2. #5 - Vapor talk, and vaping has allowed me to kill countless hours at work. Keeping me employed, because if I fall asleep my job is on the line, so having something to do is very important. With all of the things to do around the forum, like enter a generous contest, I have been able to provide for my family. So in short, vaportalk/vaping = my job = me living. VT=LIFE.

  3. Hello errybody!

Just back to work after about a month off due to a left total hip replacement, went way better than expected and I am just working on strenght and control now.

I had been on narcotics for almost 14 months, and am now dealing with the end of the withdrawl period, and running into a bit of a bout with depression. Working out and staying active is helping a lot, but I am not too worried ;) I still love life and cannot wait for all the beautiful things to come for me!

It's amazing how much strenght you lose when you don't use your muscles for over a year. I have had to takes steps one at a time with my right leg, as well as use a cane/crutches...quite an ordeal!

Anyhoo, back in action and I will be around more frequently again.

  4. What cartos do you use?

Even with 100% VG, you shouldn't be killing every carto in less than 5 days. Some may be junk sometimes if you get quality cartos. But, you should get 5-7 days with 100% VG in a Boge or a Ressurector. Try a Ego mega dual coil carto. They seem to last a bit longer for most people, although they are a bit more expensive, and if you are running high VG, they may be to spendy to kill in 7 days. 5 cartos for 10 bucks is my max. You can get great cartos for 8-10 bucks easy.

  5. Great info there. I am going to look into organizations that do promote E-cig use. I have been doing advocacy/ low level lobbying for a long time with birth control and sex education. I might just start into E-cigs as it is something in my wheelhouse to some extent. I am by no means a lawyer or pro, but this could be a fun hobby...although I do believe we need something/one that treats it more than a hobby.

I am sure once Joye, or another major producer gets HUGE in the US, and has a profit margin that can swing some weight they will fight, but for now most manufacturers, and retailers are simply not large enough to do anything. Mom and Pop are dying...and those are what E-cig users like, because they create a quality product, and can be trusted...but in this case it will bite us in the arse I fear.

  6. Gotcha, The caramels/vanillas are much better on the LR attys.

The only situation where a Standard could be better is on a really light tobacco or a highly fruity juice. If you ever taste a burnt juice, and you know that your atty is clean, it might be too much heat on the juice. But the LR's certainly bring out the flavors better on the more complex juices. More heat=more flavorful notes in almost all juices, but you can go overboard and burn the juice. With the ego-c That is very seldomly a problem, I haven't had it yet, and I have tried a heck of a lot of juices.

Every time, the LR is better than the SR atty.

  7. I have used the SR's and the LR's, the standards just don't burn hot enough for me. The LR attys hit it right on the head for every flavor I have tried so far. There are a few I can sneak a little bit more out of my VV device going to 5+volts...but not enough to bother most of the time. I have a great go to menthol, and I keep another filled with a random flavor, blueberry cheesecake at the moment.

Personally, I wouldn't bother with the Standard Resistance. They are just sitting, 4 in the unopened pack still since I got my Ego-C. I use Lr's all day long.

  8. Love the Ego-C tank system. Flavor of dripping, simplicity of the cartos. This is what I do most of the time. My preferred.

I use DD when I am running though flavors quickly, trying out a new sampler or something of the like.

I have recently been burning though my EMDCC's...and by burning I mean using...have only had to put one in alcohol so far to clean it due to build up and burnt taste...So 4 more to kill...I am vaping so much to get back to my Ego-C, but I want to try everything, and it is such a shame to waste a full carto...

  9. Lol. In the infinity that is fine, IMO. That would be a neat battery to find though! The infinity is an EXCELLENT piece of hardware and has the circuitry to prevent most problems. Realistically, your's is safer than my 18650 VV tube, IMO. Not to worry you, What I would suggest is that you should use a single 18650, instead of two 18350's. In the infinity there really isn't an option. They use the smaller battery and a dual bay charger to lower charge times. And use the highest quality battery, and this does not mean you should over spend on batteries, just buy from reputable vendors.

Chris will correct me if I am wrong.

  10. Batteries can explode. If you use a cell phone, a car, or a laptop/tablet you are at just as much risk. There are hundreds of stories of cell phone batteries exploding and causing harm. He was using a bad MOD I am sure, possibly stacking batts, or simply not using common sense. Because e-cigs are the new hype the get bad publicity to sell papers. When cell phones now explode, you never hear of it. 20 years ago when they just hit the scene, it was huge.

Just explain how much of a freak accident it is, and don't even bother to address it. I just shrug it off. When I don't worry about it, and stick the thing they think is deadly in my mouth again and again, they stop caring. It is all mindset with them.

If you don't worry, they won't worry.

  11. I have owned the Ego-C for about 45 days now.

I own a VVTube mod, and use that for dripping when I am at home, and I have realized...that besides testing juices out rapidly. There is no real point in using my VVtube. I get the same flavor from my Ego-C.

While the Ego-C is a static voltage device, the LR attys allow you to get a very warm and flavorful vapor, with all the flavor and deliciousness of dripping.

WITHOUT ACTUALLY DRIPPING! I love it. I know everyone has used a carto for about a week or two and you just keep using it even though the draw gets a little tight, or the flavor mutes out a bit, to save money. After all, why throw away something that works right?

With the Ego c, after filling and assmbling the very easy to use Ego-C cone assembly. it works just as a cartomizer or flux or whatever other cartidge you stick on the end of your EGO style battery. But it works BETTER. With a huge tank, 1 mL is the volume I am able to fit into my tanks.

I just want to do a quick comparision to a few cartos I have used and let you know of the flavor difference and what other things I have noticed.

All are used on the same Ego 5 click battery. About 25 charging cycles, after fully charging to save from voltage drop off differences.

I used a very flavorful juice that I love dripping with. Atomic Cinnacide, at 24mg, 70/20 PG/VG.

Cartos were used about 1 week total, and upon writing this I sat down, vaped on it for about 20 minutes, and wrote my exact experience based on how I felt the vape was for the past 20 minutes. I took a 10 minute break between the vapes, and randomly decided which was next with blindfold and grab technique.

    Delivery Device

Ressurector, 1.7 ohm - Flavorful, convienient, I love the after taste when I chain vape for about 2 minutes and let the carto get a little hot. Lots of vapor, lots of flavor. Flavor- 7, Throat hit- 7, Vapor production- 7

Dripping with VVtube at 4.8 with 3 ohm 510 atty- Lots of flavor, PITA, had to change my atty I was using due to a previous flavor that remained. New atty is great. Love the huge Throat hit and the amazing vapor production, dry hits pretty often...flooding...get me a napkin. Flavor-10 when it hits well, -2 when I get a dry hit, Throat hit- 10, Vapor production- 9. Very warm and delicious vape

Ego-C, LR atty- Solid vapor production. Very flavorful. Simple. French Vape is super fun with the warm vapor (up through the nose after in mouth). Consistent, delicious, warm, and easy. Lots of flavor and vapor. Flavor-10, Throat hit- 10, Vapor production-10. So consistent it is rediculous.

Ego mega dual coil carto 1.5 LR- Excellent vapor production, but noticable less flavor than the Ego-C attachment. Kind of dissappointed. Flavor is there, but below what it was with the Ego-C. Flavor-7 (could be more if I wasn't coming off of the Ego-C. If i was previously using a 510 1.5 it might be higher...hard to be 100% sure) Throat hit-8, Vapor Production- 9 Very solid vape.

All in all, the Ego-C is just like a carto, at a slightly higher pricetag to get started. about 15 bucks for the cone, and then 5 bucks an atty, with the platic tank expense still to be mentioned at about .50-.70 cents a pop.

When you do a carto, if you pay 6 bucks for a single carto you better be getting the BEST DAMN VAPE OF YOUR LIFE! and honestly. I can say that with the Ego-C it is close. If you are an Ego user. If you vape at 7.4 you can honestly forget it ;) But for someone who just likes simple, standard, and easy. Pick up a cone, a set of LR attys, and a 5 pack of tanks and get rocking. For about 50 bucks you can try this setup out...which is a standard MOD pricetag, but you will fall in love with it. If price points are your concern, stick with the Boge2.0, EMDCC, or res you are using, but if you want DD flavor and production, without the hassle. I don't know what you are waiting for.

    #getatit.
