  1. So I've been using the iClear 30b for the last week and a half, and once I got my hands on my iTaste v3 it has been phenomenal. One problem though..even before I got my vv device and was using my eGo C upgrade battery, I am churning through atomizers. I mean, I am officially getting a burnt flavor on my THIRD atomizer in 9 days. Juice I've used: Snake Oil by SeduceJuice Jango by SeduceJuice Zombie Bait by NettMix These are all 50/50 and not very thick at all. SnakeOil and Jango are dark. First question, should I be burning through atomizers this fast on this thing? (I do know the proper way to inhale) Second, has anyone come up with a good way of cleaning these? I tried a hot water soak, and it worked again for about 10 puffs - then the burnt flavor came back. My only other point of reference is my ProTank and eGo C. When those coils burned out, the wicks would become very dark and nasty looking. The strange thing is, after drying, the wicks on my iClear 30b atty's are still white as ever. Other note: Of course I've tried all volts and watts to make sure I wasn't over doing it. Thanks, as always, for any help you guys can give!
  2. So I'm not sure how to avoid having to continuously purchase cones. If anyone remembers quite recently I had an issue with my cone dethreading, went and bought another one, and here we are again. Thing is, I screw my cone on very gently, almost slightly loose. Then eventually it will be on there so hard I need pliers to remove it. (Thus blemishing it anyways.) Here's how my last venture ended: That is the peice that comes from the cone, stuck inside of my battery. I attempted to use pliers to remove it. It smashed, and is now stuck in my battery. Believe I now have a screwed battery. Kind of ridiculous, considering the care I take of my eGo. Anyone had similiar experiences or any idea what I may be doing wrong? Any ideas how I may get that thing out of my battery? I've attempted a small computer screw driver. Just won't come out. Half venting, half looking for assistance
  3. Well that considerate of him...i wouod seriously like to be considered when youre finished bob.. been vaping 3 months only with an ego c..never tried a mod but am quite interested, just not enough to buy one any time soon.. would be sooo awesome
  4. Seems to work better, outside of the chemical taste that has been stuck in it since I got it. Surely there is a way to remove that taste before hand that I was not aware of. Yeah, and any time I take it out, I'll have my ego-C as a back up anyways. It's not meant to be a full time, or really, hardly any time PV. So it should suffice. Thanks guys!
  5. So I went to the local vapor shop the other day and ordered ONE low resistance boge carto to try it (I had purchased a regular resistance 5 pack originally, the guy told me that the LR would suck too much battery out of my small 510 battery). I wanted to see what difference it would make and if I'd ever use my Joyetech 510 ever again, or if it was just a horrible purchase. However, the guy wrote "Boge N/R" on my receipt, and is one of the guys that works there that I consider not to know nearly as much as the other employees. I have no idea how to tell if I got a LR Boge carto, and how to base my opinion. I'm condoming it right now to see what it's like. Will it be so drastic that I can't help but notice? A side note: Got some RY4 there as well. MAN, that's a nice flavor!
  6. any word on what kind of cig it was? i assumed a. it was a cheap gas station one or b. it was a bad mod. cant see my ego exploding on me.
  7. Better than the Joye 510? Blah, I messed up then. Was looking for a similiar product.. apparently I got the wrong thing.
  8. Absolutely, hate the taste of them (3 months or so in). They are disgusting to me now. Repulsed. They smell absolutely horrible. They taste even worse. My girlfriend has regressed to full blown smoker again though thanks to a new job where taking a smoke break is all you get. (Not that she couldn't vape on her breaks, whatever.) Now I give her hell every 5 minutes about smoking. Funny how the tables turn!
  9. After going back and tasting analogs after being smoke free for this long, i hardly want to replicate something that tastes that bad anyways
  10. Read over the few ego c threads in the forum..including the one i started and this one, they hold great tips within. Might as well forget those other PVs as i have a hunch youll never touch them again. You do have some liquid on hand? If not thatll be the next step, finding your fav liquid. Enjoy it its an amazing PV which has had little to no downside for me.
  11. Mike the LR sometimes seems to be better with darker liquids I've found, but after using the LR for so long, I pretty much only use the LR atties anymore for some reason regardless of the liquid. I seriously have to agree with this topic. The C was my first device but I have now tried VV and boge carto's, and overall ease, the total package, I keep coming back to the C. It vapes great, good flavor, good vapor, soooooo easy to maintain...emphasis on EASY. I fill and go. Fill and go. I have dropped off on vaping so much that I fill once a day now and that lasts me all day. Cigarettes were way less convenient even. The only difference I've noticed is the wicking can be so slightly more slow you barely notice it. A+ Device on all fronts, really. PS: Leaking has never happened to me. Only con I can think of is spending the money on the other devices only to come back to the C. There are a lot of people on this board who SWEAR by boge carto's...can't say I was blown away, definitely was expecting more the way they are spoken of in comparison to my C. Edit: I see in your post you mention carto's, EMDCC possibly being cheaper..maybe just a personal thing, but I have spent relatively nothing on my C since buying it. One of my cone's dethreaded, had to buy a new one ($12), outside of a little juice, I've been rotating the same two blisterpacks of atty's (boiling when they get nasty) for almost 3 months now. It's been ridiculously cheap. I've not even ran through my original juice purchases (30ml of VG, 60ml of pg's), and have purchased a few 10ml flavored juices. And that's shared between two people.
  12. I pretty much second everything blucavvy said. After checking your blog out a bit, I can't help but wonder what ecig system you're using there. If you ever feel the need to relapse, I'd seriously consider a better kit. I don't want to talk out of my bum, but it looks slightly generic (although you said it was expensive ). Furthermore, Wheresthesmoke.net doesn't contain any of the e-cigs used by most of the members on this board in it's top 10 (The eGo being the most highly recommended PV). However, I hope all turns out well for you, best of luck! I considered doing the same thing with the blog, but found the switch so effortless that I had little to write about!
  13. Basically yeah for taking to the bars and out ..was going for decent performance but it's a tad lacking
  14. So i've had my Joye 510 for a few days now and I hacer to say my ego c is miles better. Now I know this shouldn't be a surprise but is there any way to make my Joye 510 better? They told me at the shop that it wouldn't handle the low resistance boge cartos so i'm using standard. The vapor production just seems very weak..takes a way longer draw to get same production as the C. (lr or sr attys on the c still have way better output). Is it just the standard boge that's sucking it up..or the Joye 510 in general?
  15. Ha resolved thanks to a comical video tutorial by ol busardo.. thanks for the response accalia!
