Mike the LR sometimes seems to be better with darker liquids I've found, but after using the LR for so long, I pretty much only use the LR atties anymore for some reason regardless of the liquid. I seriously have to agree with this topic. The C was my first device but I have now tried VV and boge carto's, and overall ease, the total package, I keep coming back to the C. It vapes great, good flavor, good vapor, soooooo easy to maintain...emphasis on EASY. I fill and go. Fill and go. I have dropped off on vaping so much that I fill once a day now and that lasts me all day. Cigarettes were way less convenient even. The only difference I've noticed is the wicking can be so slightly more slow you barely notice it. A+ Device on all fronts, really. PS: Leaking has never happened to me. Only con I can think of is spending the money on the other devices only to come back to the C. There are a lot of people on this board who SWEAR by boge carto's...can't say I was blown away, definitely was expecting more the way they are spoken of in comparison to my C.

Edit: I see in your post you mention carto's, EMDCC possibly being cheaper..maybe just a personal thing, but I have spent relatively nothing on my C since buying it. One of my cone's dethreaded, had to buy a new one ($12), outside of a little juice, I've been rotating the same two blisterpacks of atty's (boiling when they get nasty) for almost 3 months now. It's been ridiculously cheap. I've not even ran through my original juice purchases (30ml of VG, 60ml of pg's), and have purchased a few 10ml flavored juices. And that's shared between two people.

Okay so Ive been reading tons on this website and others and of course a bit of confusion remains which is expected as im seeing.

Heres my thing: im having my dad (possibly) order me ome for xmas as I have nothing else I want and Im intrigued.

From what ive read the best are the volt and eGo. I currently smoke about 12-15 American Spirit yellow "analogs" a day. I want to figure out EXACTLY what kit I should order as im telling him which ive decided. In this case I dont think I should ask for more than a kit. Am I going to be completely unsatisfied with what JUST a kit provides? Is the size of the eGo really that obtrusive or stupid looking? I want to SAVE money vaping so would going with a cigarette shaped ecig cost me a lot more? Thanks for any help you can provide - sorry im so clueless!

I have owned the Ego-C for about 45 days now.

I own a VVTube mod, and use that for dripping when I am at home, and I have realized...that besides testing juices out rapidly. There is no real point in using my VVtube. I get the same flavor from my Ego-C.

While the Ego-C is a static voltage device, the LR attys allow you to get a very warm and flavorful vapor, with all the flavor and deliciousness of dripping.

WITHOUT ACTUALLY DRIPPING! I love it. I know everyone has used a carto for about a week or two and you just keep using it even though the draw gets a little tight, or the flavor mutes out a bit, to save money. After all, why throw away something that works right?

With the Ego c, after filling and assmbling the very easy to use Ego-C cone assembly. it works just as a cartomizer or flux or whatever other cartidge you stick on the end of your EGO style battery. But it works BETTER. With a huge tank, 1 mL is the volume I am able to fit into my tanks.

I just want to do a quick comparision to a few cartos I have used and let you know of the flavor difference and what other things I have noticed.

All are used on the same Ego 5 click battery. About 25 charging cycles, after fully charging to save from voltage drop off differences.

I used a very flavorful juice that I love dripping with. Atomic Cinnacide, at 24mg, 70/20 PG/VG.

Cartos were used about 1 week total, and upon writing this I sat down, vaped on it for about 20 minutes, and wrote my exact experience based on how I felt the vape was for the past 20 minutes. I took a 10 minute break between the vapes, and randomly decided which was next with blindfold and grab technique.

    Delivery Device

Ressurector, 1.7 ohm - Flavorful, convienient, I love the after taste when I chain vape for about 2 minutes and let the carto get a little hot. Lots of vapor, lots of flavor. Flavor- 7, Throat hit- 7, Vapor production- 7

Dripping with VVtube at 4.8 with 3 ohm 510 atty- Lots of flavor, PITA, had to change my atty I was using due to a previous flavor that remained. New atty is great. Love the huge Throat hit and the amazing vapor production, dry hits pretty often...flooding...get me a napkin. Flavor-10 when it hits well, -2 when I get a dry hit, Throat hit- 10, Vapor production- 9. Very warm and delicious vape

Ego-C, LR atty- Solid vapor production. Very flavorful. Simple. French Vape is super fun with the warm vapor (up through the nose after in mouth). Consistent, delicious, warm, and easy. Lots of flavor and vapor. Flavor-10, Throat hit- 10, Vapor production-10. So consistent it is rediculous.

Ego mega dual coil carto 1.5 LR- Excellent vapor production, but noticable less flavor than the Ego-C attachment. Kind of dissappointed. Flavor is there, but below what it was with the Ego-C. Flavor-7 (could be more if I wasn't coming off of the Ego-C. If i was previously using a 510 1.5 it might be higher...hard to be 100% sure) Throat hit-8, Vapor Production- 9 Very solid vape.

All in all, the Ego-C is just like a carto, at a slightly higher pricetag to get started. about 15 bucks for the cone, and then 5 bucks an atty, with the platic tank expense still to be mentioned at about .50-.70 cents a pop.

When you do a carto, if you pay 6 bucks for a single carto you better be getting the BEST DAMN VAPE OF YOUR LIFE! and honestly. I can say that with the Ego-C it is close. If you are an Ego user. If you vape at 7.4 you can honestly forget it But for someone who just likes simple, standard, and easy. Pick up a cone, a set of LR attys, and a 5 pack of tanks and get rocking. For about 50 bucks you can try this setup out...which is a standard MOD pricetag, but you will fall in love with it. If price points are your concern, stick with the Boge2.0, EMDCC, or res you are using, but if you want DD flavor and production, without the hassle. I don't know what you are waiting for.

Dragaa. Your moving right up in posting and giving some nice feedback on the tank....and yes, I did allude to your observations in another post for C atty.

The problem here is the tank itself IMO. Everything under the tank performs flawlessly and I've spent virtually no time messing with the lower components. Not sure what viscosity your running on juice, but the easy wick adjustment does come into play here. If your getting juice into the "seat" which holds the spike? Your unit is feeding too fast and wick needs pushed up in the spike. Seems your doing everything right but we're at the mercy of a tank system that does not allow consistent flow to the spike itself.

One thing worth noting......draw very easy on this unit. Sharp or hard draws will increase the clog syndrome you mention. Going to try something soon and will be punching a hole in the tank right above the bubble line, and near the lower baffle (under the juice fill level when right side up) and see if this tank will feed the spike better.

Darn. They are so close but need to change the tank itself. Thanks for the feedback and stay the course.

Haha sounds about right .. Thanks. This is probably more a personal thing I'll only find out as I go, I'm sure everyone spends a different amount..but everyone is more healthy for it.

Remember initial investment? This only gets subtracted as you go along, if your spending less. Otherwise.....look at your initial investment as the "begin hobby price" and choosing to improve your health.

Doing the math: I was spending 35 bucks per week and total is of course 140.00 per month. I now spend around 140.00 per month on supplies, be it whatever.

5ml per day x 7 days at .90ml per average = roughly 30 per week on juice = 120.00 per month.
Occasional 20 pack of carts = 20.00 per month. One carto lasts anywhere from 5-10 days.
OR! Purchase of C tank atty blister pack at 25.00 per month. Atty lasts between 10-30 days. (let's say)

Total here is 120-140 per month. Sometimes we'll have all the cartos we need for 60 days. A blister pack of new C atties will soon run you 25.00, while all five may last you a couple of months. It's a staggered timeline based on your supplies and needs. Last month was just juice, this month was just carts etc.

Occasionally you'll want a new batt, latest kit, or try a new delivery device on the market. This is where it becomes a hobby or want. (though new batt will be required from time to time) it becomes like anything else. New laptop or vape kit? New smart phone or mod device? Flowers and chocolates for companion or latest tank set up? (be prepared to explain) Five topping pizza or Romain noodles etc.........

Just have fun with it, and know you made the right choice for health. Price does not necessarily matter, give or take. Soon you'll be having fun like the rest of us, while giving long and drawn out explanations and such......

So after long deliberation I ordered the eGo-C from ovale, an extra battery, a blister pack of LR attys, and 30ml of the 555 tobacco PG, American PG and VG from forever vapor on Sunday. I can't freakin wait!
I wanna thank everyone for all the guidance on my thread in the new members area as you were very helpful and I hope this leads to better health for me and my girlfriend as well as hopefully some saved moola ( although this initial order was nearly 200 dollars..missed the promo price on the C ) ...

I've only literally used crappy cheap e cigs from other people on two brief occasions so I'm not sure if I'll be blown away or not but I'm sure hopeful, but I'll post initial total new person reviews on both the C and the new LR attys as soon as they arrive (HURRY UP MAILMAN!!!)

    Thanks all, happy holidays!!
