  1. Nice hall! You should be all set for a while now.
  2. Email Evolv and let them know what happen they may send you a new chip. However, you would have to be able to send the old chip back to them. Not sure if they can mail it to you directly, but they that you can work out with them. They may be out of stock on the site but they have them for repair and replacement.
  3. I have used it in a genne, a KPT head and a dripper, it was even worse in the tanks. I did not come to my conclusions for a lack of trying. I really was hoping for better results.
  4. I did wick tests on many different wicking material and yes it is high quality Degum Hemp. I tried boiled and non boiled same result. I'm just expressing my findings and not everyone will agree. Hemp fiber is not new and has been used by some for a while. Even PBusardo did a wick test and it was the only one that did not wick at all. Use what works for you and you feel is best for you that is all that matters.
  5. My all time favorite has always been my Cinnamon Stick at 100% VG -0-mg for me it is all about taste an not the throat hit for this flavor. I have been making my own since I started vaping. Though I did start out with a Camel flavor from Bestecig, I quickly wanted to start making my own to save money. No one at the time had a natural Cinnamon so if I wanted it, I had to make it. I do vape other flavors, but they are all from my own lines. I just don't see any reason to vape other brands. When I want throat hit and and nic I vape my Hydra line flavors, Hydra Bones is my most favored with a 30pg/70vg at 12mg or one of my Mash flavors. with some added VG.
  6. I have to respectfully disagree. I have used hemp fiber and it will not absorb more juice it will actually repel the juice. It has a bad taste for a long time. I couldn't even get past one drip session before I went back to cotton. Now I only use cotton pads and they do absorb juice like crazy. There is no strange taste and it is cheaper than hemp. Sorry I just just don't like it.
  7. By backups we mean Tanks, Coils, Batteries, Devices... all that stuff. You never know when something will fail and you do not want to be without a device to vape with and so on. Trust me when I say I agree. It has happen to me more than I can count and if it were not for the backups I would have bought a pack of smokes. This not something you need to buy right this second, but do a slow build up. It is not a matter of if but when. The "When" will come when you least expect it. Welcome to the forum there are a lot of good people here that help when they can. No worry on the formatting Chris is working on that. He recently did a huge update and all the bugs are not worked out yet. Kanthal coils are used for VV and VW only, Ni200 is used for Temp control only in NI mode, (Some say they are not safe to vape) Titanium is also temp control only in Ti mode. (Safer for Temp control) From what I have been seeing in reports I won't use Ni200. It is just a personal preference. There is evidence that the metal (Pure Nickel) is toxic and can harm you when used as a coil.
  8. For the most part I agree that China vs US has little to nothing to do with studies like this. This not about us vs them in a geographic sense. This is a us vs them in a governmental agenda sense. It is not about multi million dollar clean rooms, or DIYers making juice in their home or B&M shops making it in a back room. You can have the cleanest environment possible and still have an issue with some of these chems in the e-liquid. It is not introduced by the environment it is mixed in. it is introduced by the flavorings used 99.9% of the time. When it comes to Diethylene glycol it is introduced when manufactures try and cut corners to compete using low grade Propylene Glycol. The heavy metals come in from contaminated water (ie Tap Water), what it may be mixed in or even the coil that is used. This is all true be it Made in the USA or Made in China. Having said that, This is about governments that are hell bent on destroying the vaping industry and have billions to back slanted studies to fit an agenda. This is about the bottom dollar and losses that occur from people switching to vape products that affect the bottom dollar of Governments, Big Tobacco, and Big Pharma. How many of these studies do testing or report results of the products put out by Big Tobacco ((Made in the USA)? Rarely do these type of tests name what products are tested and when they do, non are the Big Tobacco brands... hummmm... Flavor manufacturers are stepping up to the plate and are giving test results of the flavorings they sell. This is giving the smaller e-liquid manufactures information about the chems that are in the flavorings sold. Responsible e-liquid manufactures need to know what they are putting into the end product. By having this information it makes it easier for the small companies to determine what is going into what they produce. These chems don't just magically appear in the product it has to come from somewhere. If the flavorings are clean of these chems, it will not be in the end product that is just fact. IMO The real enemy here are the the agencies that continue to further the agenda of the ones that want to kill the vaping industry. An industry as a whole that potentially will save thousands if not millions of lives over the whole planet.
  9. Not that I don't understand the danger in some chems, but "This study was supported by NIH/NIEHS Center Grant P30ES000002." and I would say that it my be slanted and bias. If this study had not been supported by agencies not in the pocket of big Pharma, I would look at it with less mistrust.
  10. Not that I'm aware of for the end user. You would need the programming software allowing you to edit what is on the chip to do it and that is in the factory.
  11. Mine is not a Mini, but looking at mine compared to yours, the font on yours seems larger than what is on mine. It may be a software issue.
  12. The only way to fix it would be to take it apart and I would not advise doing that. I have an eVic and it looks as though your screen has slipped down. As Tam said I would take it back to were you bought it and see if they will replace it. Not all screens are attached directly to the board some have a ribbon wire and the screen is mounted in a bracket. It could be the glue came loose allowing it to slide in the bracket. Or the bracket has come loose. I have not taken mine apart to know for sure that this is the issue. It could be a software glitch. Did it get dropped or bumped hard before this happened or has it been doing this since you first got it?
  13. I choose the Yellow, it reminded me of the old Dodge muscle cars.
  14. I have one and like it, I use my Invader more, but that is only because of the way it fits my hand and is very durable. My eVic stays on my desk while the Invader goes with me when I'm active. I want to add too that I think the eVic is a better TC mod.
  15. Sorry to hear that, Kanger usually makes a good product. This unit just don't have things I like in a mod. What issues are you having with it? I use the Invader and a eVic VT. and have been liking both. I have heard good things about the Aspire, but can't say from my own experience. There are some users here that do have them.
  16. My SO was missing her Dish so she jumped on a deal from Dish, part of it was free Starz. I'm watching all I can before its the free Starz is over. So far I'm really liking this. Evil Dead is one of favorite movies. Like Earthling said it has that feel of the movies.
  17. Thank you BirdDog I always do my best to make what people want. Don't always work out, but glad to hear they were good. Just PM me anytime and we can discuss what you want done.
  18. I still have 7 left, when they are gone they are gone!
  19. LOL Yeah that is why I said that, I thought you had mixed the two together. LOL
  20. BeBop said his was tight too when he first got it and advised to give it a good juice lube. His has loosened up over time. It does have great flavor and air flow so when I get past this sticky thread issue It will be a good tank. I'm more upset that it was open when I got it. That is just not cool. It left me feeling very suspicious.
  21. I got my Zephyrus today and can't say I'm thrilled. This was my reorder from Fastech and has not helped with the debacle of the bad OHM tester. I opened the package and pulled it out. The seal was already broken First red flag issue. Second once I got it apart to clean it for first time use, It took an hour to reassemble. The treads are not stripped but are very hard. I went to check out the rebuildable head and it is froze tight. Needless to say I'm done with fasttech. They got my last dollar with this. My thought is it was return that they just push on to the next customer. I will file a complaint, but I'm done dealing with them. It will be a complaint of I'm done. Not looking for more headaches and more crap.
  22. If that is true, then I would be scared of the nic not being accurate. My thought is some companies have machines that dole out measured amounts of each ingredient. May be that an ingredient was low or out and got missed then the bottles slipped through.
