    Wismec Presa 40W

I received my Wismec Presa today from GearBest, and first look is impressive! I got the silver one (anodized Aluminum) rather than the black powder-coat, because I hoped it would not fade or chip color as badly. Nice packaging, battery arrived fully charged, and the APV included a very long USB charging cable (standard micro-USB) and an eGo adapter so you can use eGo threaded tanks. The unit has a built-in battery (2600mAh), goes up to 40W (or 10V) in 0.1W increments. It is switchable from VW to VV, and the screen flips to read from the left or right (a nice feature). The adjustment buttons are easy to reach and operate, yet their placement makes it very difficult to accidentally press them as you use it. The buttons as well as the fire-button are also lockable so you cannot adjust or press the fire button without unlocking. There is also a spring-loaded 510-pin, which so far has connected perfectly with all of my tanks. The battery also (supposedly) fires coils down to 0.2 Ohm, which will be tested with my Arctic Tank. The only thing I've not been overly impressed with (out of the box) is the fire button is not perfectly smooth, but I think it may smooth-out as it is used? I'll be using this daily for a week or two to give it a real work-out and see how well the battery does and how long it lasts between charges. I'll also be using it with different tanks, including a sub-ohm tank (or two). Compared to my Cloupor (slightly taller than Cloupor, but same width and roughly same weight) With a full size Nautilus attached

  3. I have really loved my 25R's. My first 2 batches that I bought are starting to get a little weak. I have PIF a few, but I don't feel like it is best thing to do, so as I replace them, I will recycle them. I recycled my last set of VTC3's, but all of my VTC4's are still running good (they are all married). I think I am going to start replacing my 25R's, HE2's, and HE4's with HG2's and possibly 30Q's. I can tell a noticeable difference in how long they last. The HG2 preforms nearly as good (Total Amperage) as the 25R but lasts longer. I am also going to try out the 30Q's. They are only rated at 15A, but tests about like a 20A battery. Since I only vape at 40 watts I should be ok because that is only 14 A. ((40/3.2)*1.1) I have a pair on order, I will post my very unscientific findings as soon as I try them out.

  4. Let me know if it's any good. I may just get that one myself. I can't wait to get and try my new Squape RS. Vape mail finally comes in tomorrow afternoon. Been waiting a super long month.

  5. I don't think Kanger will stop making the KPT2 and 3 for quite some time, they are too popular, but I suppose some retailers might stop selling them. There is probably a smaller profit margin in them compared to all the different subtanks that are on the market, and that's what a lot of retailers look at, the bottom dollar is what counts. I use mostly my subtank minis but I also use my KPT2 everyday usually when I watch TV or on the internet, I don't need big clouds blocking my view. The KPT2 is the VW bug of the vape world.
