I'm no electrician and I'm definitely no whiz when it comes to voltage outputs etc...but I'm pretty sure this is safe to use, yes? Compenstine Posted November 23, 2014 Share Posted November 23, 2014 So long as your wall wort is putting out 5v you are fine your battery charger will regulate that output down to the 4.2 v and 420mA.
