Wow that is nuts.  A friend of mine had a battery nearly explode in his hand--luckily he tossed it out of his car window just in time.  Stay safe

To low a build or stitch or wrong type of battery?

This is crazy! Watching & reading through this thread, it's clear that following the manual's guidelines for cleaning and use is a bigger deal than I knew. You could have saved any of us here from a similar fate by sharing - much appreciated!
